SM Entertainment announced IU as a new member of SMTOWN

SM Entertainment has recently announced that IU, famous solo singer in Korea, will be signing under them. IU, whose real name is Lee Jieun, debuted in 2008 under the label LOEN Entertainment. But because LOEN Entertainment had decided to focus their point in distributing albums, they decided to release their artists and let them sign their contract to different company. IU signed under SM Ent while FIESTAR, another girl group from LOEN, sign under TS Entertainment. 

IU's additional in SM Entertainment had caused a chaos through the Kpop Industry, since IU is the most successful female solo singer in these few years. IU's fan, U-ana felt very happy for her because she can sign under a large talent agency. SM Entertainment too announced that she will released her third full album as a sign of comeback under a new enviroment. 

SM Entertainment CEO, Lee Soo Man said that IU has adapt into the company and has be friend with most of the SM artist including Girls Generation Sooyoung, Super Junior Heechul and EXO members. Some of the SM artists send their welcome greetings on twitter and other social media.
