"Eli yah... what are you gonna do?" Kevin asked as he continued to follow the steps in front of him. "Where are we going?"

            "Second floor," Eli finally answered, then his cell phone and activated the backlight settings to keep turning on which then produced a little light. "We're going to your room."

            "My room?" Kevin asked, frowned in confused. "W-what would we do there?" he asked again when they were up the stairs.

            Eli was not answering his question directly. He kept walking toward Kevin’s room, while Kevin began to worry about Eli’s sudden attitude that became so mysterious. Then Eli opened the door and closed it once they were inside. He let go of his hand from Kevin, but Kevin grabbed his hand quickly, this time more tightly than before. "You won’t keep holding my hand like this, right?" asked Eli, trying to make Kevin let go of his hand.

            "Don’t leave me alone in the dark like this," Kevin pleaded. "I’m... I'm afraid..."

            "But now you are in your room."

            "Please... " Kevin interrupted. His voice began to sound hoarse, as if he would cry.

            Eli sighed heavily and eventually agreed to affirm Kevin’s request. They walked to the balcony led by Eli. He looked at the circumstances around Kevin's house. "I think there is a power outage for a while. See! The light of houses around here are turned off. The streetlights are also turned off," he said.

            "Then, what should we do now?" Kevin asked anxiously.

            " I do not know. But, you can sleep, while I'm home..."

            "Didn’t I tell you not to leave me alone..."

            "The light will be soon, Kevin ah. Just wait a little longer," Eli cut. "Why are you so timid? You're a man, aren’t you?"

            "But, you have to accompany me, Eli yah."

            Eli was silent while staring at Kevin who was looked down and did not let go of his hand. "Why should I do that?"

            "Because..." Kevin’s sentence suspended for granted. Why? "Because... because you are my friend. Friend is always there every needed, right?" he said, then biting his lower lip. He tried to suppress his true feelings toward him.

            "Is that all?" Eli asked, then nodded by Kevin slowly. He sighed heavily. Actually he wanted to get a better answer than that. However, he quickly threw away that thought. Didn’t Kevin say he liked someone else this time? He thought.

            They both stood there, looking at the dark night scenery around Kevin’s house. No one spoke for a moment. They were busy with their own thoughts, until finally Kevin asked to Eli, "Why do you wanna spend a whole day with me today?"

            "Should I answer it?" Eli asked while staring at Kevin who was staring at the sky.

            "Yes, because I wanna know," said Kevin as he turned his face to Eli and smiled at him.

            Eli smiled broadly before answering the question. "Tomorrow is your birthday," he said. "So, let's just what I’ve done with you today as a gift from me to you. You know, I wanna be the first person who give you a birthday present. Although today is not your birthday, but..."

            "Why?"

            “Yes?”

            "Why did you do it?"

            "Didn’t I’ve said I wanted to be the first person who..."

            "Is that so?"

            Eli was silent again while staring at Kevin who was staring fixedly at him. His heart began to beat faster. What should I tell him? His thought asked. Should I tell the truth? What if he'll hate me if he did not like what I’ll say then?

            Meanwhile, Kevin waited impatiently for Eli’s answer. He knew Eli has another answer that made him wanted to be the first person who gave him a birthday present. Say it, Eli yah... he thought. Tell me if you...

           "I love you," Eli finally answered the question. "I'm sorry, Kevin ah, but I can’t hold back my feelings to you. You may hate me now if you're upset with my confession."

            Kevin did not react for a while. His heart seemed to stop beating and his soul floated to the heaven. He felt like he was dreaming. He then hugged Eli tightly while smiling at him happily. "I'm not going to hate you, Eli yah," he said, then let go of his arms to see Eli’s face. He was still smiling when he said, "I love you too."

            Eli's eyes rounded in surprise. He did not think Kevin would say it. He had never thought Kevin had a similar feeling to him either. "Am I dreaming?" he asked. "You love me too?"

            Instead of answering, Kevin leaned his face on Eli’s lips and kissed him passionately. Eli kissed him back. They were kissing each other for a long time. Kevin even releasing a kiss on his lips to kiss his neck and bite it slowly, making Eli moaned in pleasure. Kevin smiled in satisfaction knowing Eli’s reaction. "If you could feel all of my touch, you're not dreaming, Eli yah," he said after releasing his lips from Eli’s.

            "Or maybe I'm having a nice dream now?" Eli asked, smiling seductively at Kevin. The light that was coming from his cell phone showing his flushed cheeks. "Ah yeah, didn’t you said you like someone else?" He asked with a frown. "If you also like me... yah, Kevin ah, you're so greedy!"

            "Think clearly, Eli yah, think clearly..." Kevin cut. "I like someone else, and that person is you!" He said. "I 've liked you since the first time we met each other, Eli yah."

            "So, that's me?"

            "Of course yes. if not, I would not say I love you when you said you love me," he said. Then they looked at each other with a smile and a chuckle. "When the light in this area will be ?" he asked to Eli as he hugged his waist.

            "I don’t know," replied Eli briefly while Kevin ‘s hair and kissed it. "Why? Are you bored?"

            "A little bit, " said Kevin briefly. "I'm sleepy. But, I don’t wanna sleep alone in the dark like this."

            "You indirectly ask me to sleep with you then?"

            "If you don’t mind," Kevin said, then chuckled.

            Eli agreed. He led Kevin to come back into his room and put his cell phone on the table which was still turning on. "Kevin ah, can we do something?" he whispered to Kevin who was now lying on his bed, in his arm.

            "Doing what?" Kevin asked with a chuckle. He knew the intent of Eli's question. However, he did not want to say yes or reject it directly.

            "You know... um... ah, just forget it!" said Eli who suddenly felt embarrassed of himself with his own request earlier. Then he planted a kiss on Kevin's forehead and lowered it to his cheek, then to his lips, while Kevin enjoyed what Eli had done to him. Shortly thereafter, the lights in the house was . It was dazzling their eyes. Eli’s face was flushed when he looked at him. "Does this mean I have to go home now?" he asked. "Because the light is turning on..."

            "Stay here," Kevin cut his words and pulled his face to him and began to kiss his lips again. "I wanna spend the night with you, Eli yah," he said later.

            Eli chuckled to see Kevin's face which was full of lust. "I should turn off the light first. It blinds my eyes," he said. However, he took his cell phone and changed the backlight setting back to normal. "Kevin ah, happy birthday!" he exclaimed, then hugging Kevin's body who was still lying in bed.

            "Is already November 25?" asked Kevin.

            Eli nodded. "It's 12 o'clock in the morning. It’s your birthday," he said. "What present do you want from me?"

            Kevin was silent while thinking. "Haven’t you given it to me? Spend a whole day with you is a best present ever," he said. "But, can I ask one more thing?"

            "Anything for you, Kevin ah. Just say it. What is it?"

            "Love me forever, Eli yah. And I will do the same to you."

            Eli grinned and kissed Kevin again.

            "Eli yah..." Kevin broke the kiss. "Can you turn off the light, please?"

            "And we will do something that more than kiss?" teased Eli while smiling sductively at him.

            Kevin chuckled. "I don't know. But isn't that too fast? We just confessed our feelings and... I'm tired."

            "All right," said Eli, then moved from the mattress. "Anything for you, Kevin ah. Anything."
