GoodBye

Julia..

AN: Julia is your english name while JunHee is your Korean name

****I'm so sorry if I'm not updating fast enough. I have zero interest in continuing this fic but I feel extremely guilty to my subscribers so I've changed a few thing here and there. So a few chapters might be exactly the same. I have absolutely no idea where this story is going but an update is an update right?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Flight to Seoul will be departing in 5 minutes, I repeat, 5 minutes" the speaker announced.
You looked back one last time."I'm gonna miss it here..." I sighed, before walking towards the aeroplane that was gonna take me away from California, leaving all your friends, memories. Looking at the bright side, I don't have to face him.
FASHBACK
"L.Joe~" I said cutely, trying to get his attention.
"Can you get the hell away from me?!" he shouted, which made me froze. Yes, L.Joe had been annoyed by me several times, but this was the first time he actually shouted at me.
"Can you stop acting as though I'm your boyfriend?!" he yelled, making students surround both of you.
"B-but you are my boy-"
"You seriously think I wanted you to become my girlfriend? I mean, look at you! You're a complete nerd! Calling you ugly is an insult to all ugly people," he snorted, showing no reaction with the tears coming out from my eyes.
"T-then why did y-you ask me to be your g-girlfriend, huh?" I managed to say.
More students started gathering, even teachers, but show no signs of coming in to stop the arguements since they were scared of L.Joe who was in a gang.
"Teen Top made a bet which I lost. So as a punishment, I have to date you, !" he said, smirking.
I heard snickering behind and turned.
It was Teen Top, L.Joe's gang. They all had evil smiles on thier faces, except Niel, who was looking at me worriedly.
Unable to stand the humiliating 'breakup', I ran to the bathroom and cried my eyes out.
*Stupid! That's what you are! I should've listen to Niel. Stupid! Stupid!*
I fumbled with my skirt pocket, searching for something. I looked at the pocket knife attached to my keychain, for safety purposes. I hesitantly flipped the blade open, not able to think straight anymore, I quickly sliced  my wrist, not to deep though. I let out a sigh of relief as I watched the blood trickled out of the cut...
After time passes, I walked out of the bathroom, making sure I hid the cuts. I didn't care about the whispering and rumors at all. All I wanted to do was get out of this school.
"Julia!" someone shouted from behind. You turned around, wondering whose familiar voice that was.
"Ahh Yoseob oppa..what are you doing here?" I forced myself a smile.
"I heard what happened. Where's the bastard who broke your heart?" he clenched his teeth, cracking his knuckles while at it.
I let out a wry smile, such a comical scene coming from him.
"You don't have to oppa. I don't want you to make a scene," I said before walking away, "Don't bother coming over. I want to be alone."
~~~~
"I'm home," I softly whispered, a habit which I had that could never be broken.

I shuffled to the kitchen, immediately resting my head on the counter top. I listened to the soft ticking of the clock as I recalled today's past events like a broken recorder. Suddenly my mobile rang, signaling an incoming call. With great reluctance I picked up the call.

"Good evening. May I speak to Miss Ahn JunHee?" the man at the other end, asked.

"This is her. May I ask who is speaking?" I asked, quickly sitting up right at the sound of my Korean name.

"This Mr Lee, your family lawyer. I'm really sorry for being the one telling you the news but your parents passed away in a car crush."

I clenched the table top, trying to form words in my head.

"I know this is a terrible shock to you Miss Ahn but, I'm not sure if this a a good new for you or not, your parents wants you to come back to Korea and continue your studies there. It's their last wish which I'm hoping you would be willing to.."

"Okay..." I whispered out.

"Great. I've actually booked you a ticket. Your flight would be in the next morning at 8.00 am sharp."

"Got it. Thank you," I whispered again before ending the call.

It was almost as though the phone call held my sanity as the moment I hang up I started crying hysterically.

"No... no... NO! YOU CAN'T GO! Mummy? Daddy? Can you hear me?" I asked as I stared at the ceiling.

"Why did you have to go Mummy? Do you hate me Daddy? Was Junnie bad to you? Is this my punishment?" I began asking hysterically.

After hours of crying, I stood up slowly, grabbed my suitcase and started packing, making sure everything was packed and not left behind.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Good bye Julia, hello Ahn Junhee..." I muttered before stepping into the plane.

She's got a point about a relationship with Yoseob not working out since she only sees him as an older brother and a best friend. A relationship with one-sided love is meaningless because someone is bound to get hurt from not getting that love reciprocated. That would only get Yoseob's hopes up and makes him think that he has a chance with her when she apparently doesn't feel the same way. The worst thing that someone could do to a friend is deceiving/betraying him/her because that person will end up losing his/her friend's trust. When Junhee gets that unexplainable warm, fuzzy feeling inside from being hugged by Myungsoo unlike the hollowness she feels from Sungyeol's hug, it's a sign that she loves him (more than a friend). Sungyeol's just a crush, which is temporary since there's no strong feeling attached to it. It's good that the feeling is mutual between them. Neither would have to suffer knowing that their feelings aren't returned. Both Yoseob and Sungyeol are natural "chodings" (in real life). It really is more like hanging with a kid on a playdate rather going on a date with Sungyeol. Even though it hurts Sungyeol to be rejected by her, it's good that he's trying to get over it to keep their friendship. Hopefully, he'll have that special someone coming to him one day. I wonder what she and the Infinite boys will be doing together.

This story doesn't run too fast. Its pace is good. Everybody is not too out of character. Things seem to fit into place and makes sense without going off track. I like that it's not so one-sided on Teen Top's end with Niel being the one to really care about Junhee.

One mistake that I've noticed is that you've confused "dare" with "there." There is used to refer to location. A dare is a challenge, and it's also an action of challenging someone to do something to test his/her courage.

It's already bad enough that she's being picked on at school. The loss of her parents is tragic. She's lucky to have Yoseob by her side to help her cope. Being harmed to that extreme at the "ghetto" school is terribly brutal. Before getting to the next chapter after the beginning of the story, I figured that it was Hoya who decided to step in and help her since he didn't seem as cold as Sungyeol and Myungsoo. Thanks to Junhee, the ice around Myungsoo's heart has melted. The moments that they share together like brother and sister are sweet. That girl who forced L.Joe to break up with Julia obviously wants him for herself that she's willing to do whatever it takes even if it means causing someone misery as long as she gets what she wants in the end. There's no doubt that Hyemi is the same as her. It's good that L.Joe is willing to let her go for the sake of her happiness.
