Prologue
"Naeun-ah, mommy and I'll be going to a date!" My father yelled and I rolled my eyes, not caring about a single word he just said. "Whatever," I said while reading my bestfriend's blog post. My mother continued to hug my father and make 'kissy' faces at him. Ew, ew, ew. Ugh, I think I just vomitted in my mouth.
"Bye Naeunnie! No parties, okay?" My mother waved and slammed the door shut. I smirked and texted my friends. It's party time.
After a second or two, my BFFs also known as APINK came. "Ughhh, my parents were extremely gross just now." I grumbled and pouted. Bomi chuckled and shook her head. "Don't mind them Naeunnie! They're just having funnnn~" She said and shook my shoulders. I grinned and giggled. My friends are such dorks!

After the small party was over, everyone went home. Exhausted, I plopped onto the couch. The phone suddenly rang which startled me. "Son Residence." I said. "Is this Miss Son Naeun?" The person on the other line spoke. How did he know my name?
"Uhm, yes? Who's this?" I asked. "I'm sorry to say this but your parents passed away just a few minutes ago due to a car accident, could you please come to Seoul hospital immediately?" He said. I widened my eyes and dropped the phone.
It feels like the world has stopped moving. I couldn't feel my legs. It couldn't be true! My parents are not dead! My parents...
Tears strolled down my cheeks as I fell on my knees. I was a horrible child, I totally deserved this. B-But, my parents didn't need to die! My tears didn't stop as I stood up and quickly went to the hospital.

Son Naeun
Son Naeun is 18 years old. She's feisty, tough, chic and values her pride. She hates people who judge her, especially when they don't know her. Deep down, she's actually really shy, extremely kind, gets nervous when someone gets too close to her and has a soft spot for cute little animals. She works at a cafe near her school and she has 6 bestfriends named Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Yookyung, Namjoo and Hayoung. She's forced to marry Kim Myungsoo to pay off her parent's huge debt.
Kim Myungsoo
Kim Myungsoo is 19 years old. He's almost the same as Naeun except that he's a cold and arrogant playboy. He's filthy stinking rich but he spends it on useless things. He's also mean, stubborn, totally in love with himself and most of all an immature jerk. But, that's what Naeun describes him. He's actually a warm-hearted, gentle, sweet and kind person who has a soft spot for little children and crying girls, that's what his parents and friends describe him.
