The Next Day,

Zhoumi POV 

Waking up i got ready for school & promised that this day i wouldn't let anything ruin it, I promised myself alot of things that could sometimes not be kept.. Like visiting my family or talking to my crush... these things were hard to accomplish.. good thing my family occasionally came to see me also, not to mention my crush wasn't showing to school the past week.. which meant i didn't have to stress if i were going to talk to him or not,

My crush is someone who's a grade under me, And the only person who knows about this information is me..

Not even henry, I had been meaning to tell my best friend, but it's become one of my broken promises to myself..

How could i tell anyone at this point, when there was no way to know if he shared the same feelings,

"I wish things weren't complicated like this, I sighed aloud, Walking on my way to school, Trying to get last night out of my head, "What a nice morning," i thought trying to distract myself, Any worries i had could always slightly disappear when looking at the sky & feeling the warmth of the sun rays,

As i walked a few more miles i saw my best friend was walking up in the distance

He then walked up to greet his best friend, 

"Hello!" he said pleasantly to henry, "Hey bro" Henry replied, "Sigh Come on let's get there already"

"Come on you" he smiled, "How do you think you did?" zhoumi asked,

"I don't talk wanna talk about it.. henry replied weary,

'You get enough rest last night?' sounding concerned, "Oh yeah uh i think.. sure, henry answered,

"Omg..! henry your delirious," cupping his face, Henry shakes his head no cutely then groans, he lets go of him,

"No really do i have to throw water on your face.." zhoumi asked, "I'm good I'm good.," henry replied waving his hand,

Later

They arrive outside of the school, 

The scene of some students going inside, Some having conversation in the yard, having some time before the bell rang

"So i have to make up for the test in study hall today, i tried to get so much done late last night so i wouldn't have too.. but i still have to go," Henry tirelessly said throwing his head back, "Don't stress to much alright i'll help out if you want it," zhoumi offered, "But i'm pretty sure you got it, just don't try to over do it all in one night," Zhoumi assured,

"About that What happened with you last night?" henry asked, "What do you mean?" zhoumi replied,

"We were supposed to meet later and.." Henry said, "Oh.. I had to go straight home, couldn't wait to lay in my bed..

"You know what it's better that i didn't ditch, so thanks, but i really wanted to go eat out, Henry

"I could make it up to you," zhoumi said with a pouty expression, "I'm picking my favorite spot," henry replied happily then looked at his friend, "Quit that! how is it i can never stay mad at you.." Henry told him," Zhou mi just giggled a bit, flashing his smile,

"Omg his smile.." Sooyeon says standing distantly away from the two boys, "Your not talking about him again! are you..?

"Sooyeon, At first you were all like oh god why, not him.. when you told me about it and now.." Sooyoung said,

"Yeah but look.. she pouts then turning her friend to look towards where zhoumi was standing, "It's definitely cute, but he's kinda cute so not my type," sooyoung says, "whatever.. anyway i already told you he's not my type either," sooyeon replied, "That's what's making this stupid," sooyeon continued, "I don't get it.. He's like geeky & he wears glasses,

"Stop being so stuck-up," she then pushes her in her arm, "Says queen ha you reject every boy that comes near you," Sooyoung replies, "You think every boy wants you," she whispers mockingly to her friend, "Omg why do i hang out with you.." Sooyeon irritatingly asked, "Because you love me, anyways he's too smart for you, the taller girl replied running off, "Omg so cruel!" She yelped then puffs ugrr!,"

"Well at least they're not pointing at me this time.." zhoumi thought, seeing that they were (past tense) there,

Between the leers from siwon & those two girl's pointing quick glances & giggling, there must be some joke on him that he's wasn't aware of, "Sigh"

"Henry are we going to class yet, wait.. you have a different class from mine, zhoumi remembered, "I'm meeting hyoyeon here too" Henry said "Right You told me when we were walking he.." Zhoumi stopped, Someone caught his eye.."Yeah she should be here.." Henry said unheard, as he looked around for her,

He stared he couldn't believe it, He returned to school after all this time of being absent..

Zhoumi could no longer hear henry speaking, because he was lost in his thoughts of the boy from afar who was

about the only person that could distract him instantly & he didn't even know his name..

he hadn't been to school in over a week, zhoumi was happy to see him again, but was just a little curious of why he missed so many days, that made him even more intriguing, he wanted to know him, he was a mystery,

The only things he knew were, he was a grade under him, he seemed very to himself, until he was spoken too,

The seventeen year old always had his earphones in, usually writing, music or poetry, or be so taken with a book, everything else around would fade away, if it wasn't any of that, he would often sit back & observe everyone in the schoolyard,

Zhoumi's POV

What was it about him? his beautiful round eyes that showed a hints of slyness, innocence, sadness, or his noticeable cheek bones when he slightly smiled, that had the abillity to make my heart beat quicker..

Maybe his dark auburn hair that couldn't help but fall perfectly into his eyes, because his bangs were getting too long, or fact that he looked somewhat rebellious in his uniform,

Have i kept him enigmatic to me on purpose? no i'm thinking to much, I should'nt stare.. someone might see.." I thought,

Who was he speaking too? zhoumi wondered, As he gently touched the top of his hair, Giving a small friendly smile, towards her, she's turned around.. but she looks familiar, "Wait that's.." hyoyeon, "Hyoyeon knew him..

Hyoyeon walks up towards henry & zhoumi, "Hey! she said, then turns her attention solely to her boyfriend, "Hey you,"

"Hey beautiful," he replied, she smiled as he gripped her hand, both looking into each other's eyes,

"I'm sorry about.." Henry started, "No you don't have to" She said, "I didn't react to good,

"It's only you.. I can't wait to kiss you, Henry said holding her waist, "You stop," she replied giggling,

"I don't want to be here anymore," zhoumi added, "Sorry," henry said,

"Henry! ya we gotta get to class", A student who zhoumi saw a few times with henry,

"I'll be right there! oh man i didn't know i was late, see you guys later," looking around before kissing hyo on the cheek,

"I'll see you later baby" he told her, "Bye bro" then hurried off to meet the friend named yixing,

"Um I'll just go to my classes," he was sorta of awkward with just hyoyeon, but he remembered he had something to say to her, but how was he supposed to ask without showing his true agenda, he decided he'd deal with it after class,

"We have the same class come on!" a smiling hyoyeon said as she took his arm & went inside,

Classroom

Zhoumi POV

Sitting at the desk, my thoughts ran wild, I had a weird feeling about today & for starter's my focus was completely shot, that's never good, I'm the one saying not to freak out, but right now i was freaking out inside..

"Sigh why am i being like this? "I really don't understand myself most of time"

You have to talk to him today, don't let anymore chances slip.. my thoughts were cut off, By a girl semi yelling 

"Oh my goodness!" Seated in front of me.. There were only a few students in the classroom, and the teacher wasn't in yet, she got up and walked up to my desk, it was her, the girl who i've over heard calling me a dork/nerdboy on several occassions the girl with her friend from study hall who liked to point.. what would she have to say to me..?

Standing in front of my desk, "Hi, She spoke, I looked up to meet her eyes, her dough eyes looking straight back at mine,

I had never seen her close up, she was beautiful like everyone says, Shiny soft looking long brown hair, twinkling chestnuts eyes,

Okay yes she's pretty i get it, snapping myself out of it, "Do you have an extra notebook i can borrow?" She asked me,

"Uh Yeah.." touching my glasses, i felt conflicted, but still reached down into my backpack & gave her my extra notebook i had, During that moment i felt her stare, I raised back up to see she had an expression like she was trying to figure me out, looking deeply curious at me, "Gomawo um.." she stopped, "Zhoumi, i said, "I'm Sooyeon.. bye," She told me with a smile, then left talking her seat.

the way she looked at me, i don't know what it was.. I felt my cheeks flush a slight red color, "What just happened..?" I asked myself,

I was once again confused, as the teacher walked in,

At Lunch

(Yu jie Thoughts) Finally some space from him, i can breath now, this is so annoying, i want to be with my friends..

spreading the food around on her tray looking quite miserable, looking over at munjin sitting with his friends,

Then she looked up "Suho! she was so happy to see him, "You thought i would stay away" He said,

"Where's Fei?" Yu Jie asked, as someone covered her eyes from behind, "Right here" Fei smiled,

"Sit with me!! Yu Jie whined, "I really missed you" she tells them hugging fei, "We missed you too," suho said,

"Where's Nickhun he's with you when were not right? Suho asked,

"Uh.. He'd rather not be seen with me anymore now," Yu Jie replied, It causes things.."as she looked down,

"This is ridiculous you can't be with your best friend, Fei said, "That overbearing bastard, "Fei!" Suho stopped her,

"What she means is we need you too you know," Suho added, "We've known you for 2 years, he acts like were not your priority.." Fei said,

"Ok ok i don't want to talk about this anymore, can we just enjoy our time together?" Yu Jie asked,

"Okay yu jie.. but how much more time will we have? Suho said, "I'm sorry yes he's been saying he doesn't like me hanging out with you guys.. and he's... "Okay well you can tell him that we don't like him either.. Fei said annoyed, "Jie jie Don't apologize for him," suho told her, we don't want any trouble, all we want is our girl, he smiled, She hugged him tightly, "Suho, Fei i'm so thankful for your friendship, just know that.." Zhoumi scanned the caffettiera,

His eyes landed on yu jie, she was happy with friends, a few moments ago was alone, zhoumi was happy she wasn't anymore, Yu jie the girl he always saw looking saddened, he could never talk to her because she was munjin's gf,

The guy was a crazy overbearing muscle jerk, who thought she belonged only to him, He sat over with his friends, leaving her alone like he didn't want to be bothered with her, zhoumi's angry began to build at how he could do that to someone so beautiful &... He had to take his mind off it, He scanned the lunchroom again still not here,

His crush was nowhere in sight at lunch, where did he disappear too?

"Heyy! zhoumi this seat taken?," taking a seat next to him at the table,

"No, hey hyoyeon? "Yeah? she answered, "I wanted to ask about the student you were talking to earlier, before going inside?" zhoumi asked, "Hm i'm not sure who you mean? "The guy you spoke too with the dark auburn hair," zhoumi described, "Oohh what about!? She replied taking a bite of her food, "Do you know him?" he asked her, "well.. not really"

"Do you know his name by any chance? zhoumi asked with widen eyes,

"I've only said hi to him, we've only spoken to each other about 3 times now

sorry i can't help, he is sweet from what i can tell & so handsome, Ah it's not a big deal but don't tell henry i said that,

i only think he's nice looking that's all," Hyoyeon said to zhoumi,

He didn't even mine that she found his crush cute,

"Ha ha your secret is safe," zhoumi told her, this was odd, he'd never had a full conversation with hyoyeon,

but felt that she was charming & nice to talk to, he smiled at her,

"Pinky swear though!" she asked, "ahaha Ok ok! zhoumi said as he did the promise,

"I still wanna know why you wanna know his name," She suddenly says, "Ah just.." zhoumi started

"I'm on to you hmm" She replied, Then henry walked up & sat with the pair,

"What were you two talking about about?" Henry asked after sitting down with his tray, looking interested,

"We were talking about you," Zhoumi said, hyoyeon looked at him,

"Ah and right when i was just about to get jealous," Henry sarcastically replied, they all three laughed,

(Sooyeon's Table)

"Omg! i saw you," "It was only a notepad shut up" sooyeon told to sooyoung who saw the exchange in the classroom,

"Your really going to do this, i saw how you were looking at him, it was just a notepad haha your in there,

"In there, ew have you been around my brother..?" sooyeon asked, "Uh no, Speaking of" sooyoung replied,

As wooyoung, sooyeon's brother's best friend asked "You like who?" He said teasingly,

"wah why do you care?" sooyeon asked, "psh I don't" Then why are you here," I walked past an just heard your conversation he smirked, "You can leave then" sooyeon said, "You sure you want me to? he asked back, both staring at each other, Omg get back together already & get a room, sooyoung muttered,

"Yah noona, stop bothering my friend," taecyeon said from the nearby table, then smiled looking at sooyoung,

"Ha i'm not getting back with him in a million years," sooyeon said, "Don't count on it sooyeon" wooyoung replied,

"You two talking and keeping things from me or something" Henry asked, "Yep i guess you could say that, Zhoumi said,

"My best friend & my girlfriend, keeping secrets I don't know how i feel about that," Hyo & zhoumi look at each other..

"Huh henry it was just, Hyoyeon said, "I'm kidding, it's awesome that you guys are friends, Henry tells her,

She tugs on his arm, gripping him, "Baby i love you," she tells him "I love you too" He replied,

"So no more unnecessary arguments, zhoumi says to both of them, hyoyeon he's right, I hate fighting with you" Henry says, "I won't be so difficult but babe if i see that girl around you again," Right then zhoumi remembered she could be scary, "I promise theres nothing with me & sunny we dated a long time ago" henry said, "Ssh i'm listening to your heart beat," laying her head against his chest, "Babe" Henry said, Hyoyeon didn't want to hear name from him, she wanted to forget the conversation altogether,

Zhoumi finishes about all his lunch when he sees himjae chuhan & munjin sitting at one of the tables,

"I'm not hungry anymore.. zhoumi says, See you guys," they get up afterwards except munjin, unaware they followed,

School Hallway

Zhoumi left to his locker, taking out two books, he closed it back when he heard a noise, that sounded like whimpering,

the hallways had never looked this empty, it was eerie, he wanted to go see what or who it was, but lunch wasn't over,

he left a little too earlier, going back to the caffettiera was best, he turned the corner, right into chuhan.. "Watch where your going" He said, "Where you off to?" he asked, "Let me pass" zhoumi said, "What if i don't" getting closer to his face,

"Your not going anywhere and your new buddy nickhun isn't here this time," himjae said walking up to him,

He then hit his books down to the floor, Zhoumi instinctively shoved him away, "Oh you messed up" chuhan warned,

"Ahh!!," Himjae landed a hard quick slap across zhoumi's face knocking his glasses off flying across the hall,

Kyuhyun POV

I stared in a daze, tears covered my face, waiting for the pain to stop, it never does but just a little,

This is where i found myself during this time, in a bathroom cubicle crying my eyes out, when i heard a locker close,

An steps, i stayed for a moment, then heard lots of noises, I had no idea who was out there, then i opened the cubicle, & went to open the bthroom door slowly, i couldn't see anything from the partially cracked door, so i stepped out,

My eyes widen at what i saw, two students hitting another, while he was buckled over,

One of them came towards me, "This isn't what you think, as a matter of fact you didn't see anything,"Himjae said,

Keep moving," He warned, He came closer an raised his hand up to my face, I finched & moved back, "Don't touch me"

I said, Students entered the hall ways, right before the bell rang, He just smirked at me then walked away,

I Looked for the hurt student but i didn't see him.. i had to find him to know if he was alright.. I had never witnessed something like that, I looked down, glasses, i picked them up from the floor, were these the student's? i asked myself,

i made my way towards the nearest teacher, and debated if i should say something or not, it seemed no one around did,

NO POV

Holding the right side of his face, eyes tearing up, cutting on the water, he spit into the sink he was bleeding from the inside of his mouth, "Why didn't i just wait a few moments.." he said regretting leaving the lunchroom, he cupped his hands an splashed his face with water, then held his forehead with both his hands, & stared for a moment, there was so much built inside him at this point, he dried his face with the paper tiles, "I don't think i'll get through this last year," he thought,

He then noticed his glasses were no where to be found, inspecting his face in the mirror, to see if it was bruising,

He was about to leave when he just stopped & leaned against the wall an slid down, just sitting there.. not wanting to move anymore, when a voice tenderly asked him, "Are you okay?" He slowly looked upward, it was sooyeon,

"Oh.. ah yeah.. zhoumi responded, "What are you doing in here? it's kinda the girls bathroom" She said,

"I didn't notice..," he replied trying to get up and leave, "Here!" She said offering her hand,

She gripped his hand while he raised up, "Don't worry i won't tell anyone you were in here," Sooyeon replied,

"Ah I i have to..g.." zhoumi told her trying to hold back his emotions, "Your eyes.." she said, he looked at her confused,

"I need to talk to you.. zhoumi" she said in a lower tone, Come with me" she asked,

He sighed & took her hand, she led him to a room filled with school supplies,

"Don't we have to get back class?" having to speak stricly korean to the best he could, with her,

"I have to say this.." looking guilty, she continues, "I'm sorry, i'm truly sorry, for anyway i've treated you," she pleaded,

"I heard when you called me those names.., zhoumi divulged his voice tensed up, "Why..? i've never done anything to you," zhoumi exclaimed,

"It was an image thing, it's what people expected from me.." she replied starting to cry,

"It was unnecessary..." he spoke, "I know, i really didn't mean to hurt you, she pleaded, "It didn't hurt me it was just an unnecessary part of my day that was already bad enough.." he replied, she then began to cry, "Ah don't cry, I.. forgive.. you.." He slowly got out,

she then held him close into a hug, crying into his chest, "I don't deserve your forgiveness," he slightly gasped,

"Ah.." sooyeon.." zhoumi softly says, She then raised her head & gently pressed her lips onto his while standing on her tippy toes, resting one hand on his chest & the other on his shoulder,

Zhoumi POV

I was in complete shock, my whole body tensed up, she was kissing me, i didn't know what to feel..

I gently gripped her arms and moved her away, the lip press ended only lasting seconds, "Sorry.." she grabbed the door open and ran out, 

"Sooyeon!" I called, I was left standing in a empty hall again, everyone in class, "What just happened.."
