Description
It was going so well for Kris and I. We were the perfect couple; swimming in our pool of love and affection. I thought he was the one, the man I would marry. But then I found out he was cheating on me. I walked in on them kissing, and instantly, my dreams shattered into pieces.
I ran away, sobbing so hard. I refused to let any of my closest friends come near me, not even Sunny. My heart was completely broken. Kris sent me loads of aplogies but we were over. There was no way I'd go back to him.
About a few days later, there was a knock on the door. I ignored it, knowing it was probably one of my friends trying to get me out of the house. I knew they'd give up after a while. But the knocks didn't cease, and soon, the person was spamming my doorbell. In annoyance, I threw myself out of bed and stormed to the door, flinging it open.
Standing at my doorstep, was the girl who my boyfriend cheated on me with.
Foreword
"Let's get over him together," Taeyeon declared and rudely barged into my apartment. I stared at her, wide-eyed as she went into the fort of cushions I'd built for myself in my living room.
"Mhm, I like neapolitan. Good taste," she gave me a thumbs up and I just stood there glaring at her incredulously. Really? Kris cheated on me with her, and she walks in like we're best friends forever? I guess, she was duped as well, after all. She didn't know Kris was dating me while she was in a relationship with him.
I frowned as I moved towards her. She stuffed a big scoop of ice-cream into my mouth and I irritatedly snatch the bowl away from her.
"You don't look very sad," I mumbled and her eyes flew wide open. "I-I am! I'm... totally heartbroken. Hurts," she patted her chest and I raised an eyebrow. "I... hide my emotions very well?" She flashed an awkward smile, before turning her head away dramatically. She batted her eyelids rapidly, heaving out a long sigh. "Oh my love Kris," she said, looking like she wanted to puke.
Something about her behavoir told me otherwise. Taeyeon looked more joyful than anything to be in my house. Sighing, I joined her in my fort, and aplogised. "Sorry. That was mean. I'm still not over Kris."
"I can see that," she said, leaning forward and patting my puffy eyes. I shrunk back, sending her a weird look as she went back to watching the drama.
