Prologue

“What the hell, Sehun? You’re drunk!” Tao said as he helped his friend stood up from the couch he was leaning on to. He had another five glasses of plain vodka, thinking that he won’t pass out. But he’s never been good at drinking, never in his life was he good at it and yet he tries his best to drink to show off and let everyone know that he’s not their typical kind of guy. He wanted everyone to know that he’s superior in bars/clubs and everywhere else.

“You know Sehun, you really should stop doing this! Night life isn’t your life at all. Why do you have to ruin your life when there are many things you’re good at? Not this! So you should stop this!”  Tao scolded him but he just brushed him off. “You know Tao, you really should mind your own business. This is my life and I’m used to it. Why do you care so much, huh?’ he shrilled and walked away.

“Is he okay? What happened?” one of their friends, Kyungsoo, asked. “He’ll be fine. I don’t know what to do with him, Kyung. He’s becoming so different now. His Mom said that he usually gets home late and worst, he stays in some other people’s houses – maybe with some other girls. He needs to change.”

“I know, Tao.” Kyungsoo patted the taller guy, “I’ve heard that Sehun’s being an . He dated my sister’s friend and then I found out that he’s still in a relationship with some other girl. He really needs to change. Truthfully, a good Sehun is something I’m wishing for.”

“You’re leaving?” she asked as she paused for awhile from what she’s doing. All she could feel right at this moment was her heart being crumpled. She’s in pain. Not physically, but she’s sure she’s hurt – emotionally. She’s in love with him for almost two years and she thought that he’s the guy that she’s going to live with forever. But, life has different things to offer to Juhyun and maybe, being with this guy she actually loves was not the life wants for her.

“I-I don’t see any reason for us to break up, Yixing.” she said again, trying to regain her composure. Her heart beating’s not normal and all she wanted to do now was to cry. She did everything for this guy and yet it seemed like he didn’t appreciate it but still, she gives everything in hope that he will give his love to her in return but she was wrong. She fell in love maybe at the right time, but not with the right person – not with Zhang Yixing.

“I can’t be with you anymore, Juhyun.” he covered half of his face, also trying to calm down. He loves Juhyun. Obviously, they were really good for each other. In fact, they’re perfect pair. They have a lot of similarities and they can’t even seem to see their differences and they loved it. But that’s the reason why their relationship drifted. “But, Yixing – we have a good relationship, didn’t we? Our relationship was perfect but why are you leaving me?” she took a grip of the hem of his shirt and looked at him, confused.

“Yes, Juhyun. We have a good relationship. It was perfect but that’s it. Our relationship was too perfect because we’re so alike and you see? Because of those similarities, we lack differences. I don’t want like this, Juhyun. I’m sorry. We both need time. I have to leave.”

“I-Is there someone else?” she asked. She knows that she’ll be hurt once he answers it and yet she continued staring into his eyes to find his answers and when he nodded, that’s the time she ran away and left Yixing for good.
