You watched him as he coughed up blood

"J-jeongmin?" You stuttered

He could only smile at you even though it was a weak smile

Tears started to flow down your eyes 

"Don't worry. I'm fine" he whispered 

You knew it was a lie.

Jeongmin was far from being fine

"You need to go see a doctor" you pleaded

He only shooked his head

"No. The doctor will only say the same thing over and over. I don't want to hear it anymore. Why don't we get something to eat and catch he movie?" Jeongmin said 

You knew he was trying change the subject

"Lee Jeongmin! You need help! I'm so ing worried about you! Don't you know how scared I am?! I don't want to lose you!" You cried

Tears started falling

Jeongmin remained quiet as he looked at the floor

"I'm sorry" He whispered 

"P-please just get help. I don't want to lose you" You said as you ran into jeongmin's arms

He wrapped them around you tightly

"I'm not going anywhere" He whispered 

But that was only a beautiful lie.

Here you stand now

In front of his grave 

Tears falling from your eyes

And a ring he left you with a note.

"You promised me you weren't going anywhere. You lied to me..." You whispered

With trembling hands you open the note 

Dear (your name),

I'm sorry that I lied. I knew that I didn't have much time left. I didn't want to die yet. But I can't fight it anymore.

Knowing that I will one day die and leave the person I love the most is so hard. I love you. I really do. Please don't 

cry for me. I bet you'll meet someone way better than me and you can smile. I leave you this ring to remember me by.

I wanted to give it to you when I ask you to be mines. But seeing how the circumstances is. I guess I can't. I'm sorry for what I've done.

But I want the pain to stop. I hope you forgive me someday. Maybe one day we will meet again. Even if I'm dead. I am still watching over you.

Creepy as that seems. I want you to know that I'm always in your heart and there when you need me. You were the best thing that happen to me.

And I am greatful to spend the limited amount of time I had left with you. I don't regret killing myself, but I do regret that I will make you sad.

You held the note tighter in your hands.

He loves you?

You fell onto your knees and cried harder 

"I love you too" You cried 

You cried for hours before getting up

"I will never forget you Jeongmin" you whispered as you got up and slowly left the cementary 

You can still remember that day when he left you

~flash back~

"Jeongmin!" You shouted

Yet there was no reply.

You only left to go get some food

But when you got back it was quiet

"Minnie?" you called again

Looking for Jeongmin you checked the bathroom

He wasnt there

The bedroom he wasnt there

You looked all over the house but you couldn't find him

"Jeongmin this isn't funny!" You cried

Then you realize you didn't check the balcony

The one place Jeongmin loves to go when he feels sad or stress

Slowly walking there you let out a scream

"Jeongmin!" You cried as you ran to his lifeless body

You shook him

"P-please wake up!" You cried

Blood was everywhere 

You quickly called the ambulance

But it was too late

He was gone

The only thing that he left was a note and a ring

But you couldn't miss the small smile that graced his lifeless body

"I'll keep smiling. Only for you. This I promise you baby. Please keep watching over me" You whispered as you walked to your car

You drove back to your home but before that you headed to a small coffee shop where you and jeongmin usually go

Heading inside you accidently bump into someone

"I'm so sorry!" You quickly apologize and bowed 

"Its okay. No harm done!" The person you bumped into chuckled

Looking up your breath got caught in your throat 

"Hello my name is Hackyeon. But you can call me N" Hackyeon smiled

"o-oh I'm (enter your name here)" you said and blushed

"Thats a pretty name. Its nice to meet you" Hackyeon said

You couldn't help but to smile 

Years later after that little accounter 

"There you are!" Hackyeon said as he pulled you closer

"Sorry I was looking up at the sky." You said while blushing

"Thinking about him again?" N whispered as he held you tighter

"I'm sorry" you whispered

"No don't be sorry. Its fine. I understand" N smiled at you

You quietly thanked him and looked up at the sky 

Noticing a star shining brighter than the rest 

Jeongmin?

"I'm glad you found someone" A faint whisper was heard only for your ears

Tears brim your eyes and you nodded

N looked at you worriedly 

"Are you okay?!" He asked

You nodded

"I'm fine. I love you N!" You said as you kissed him on the lips

N smiled and kiss back

After breaking off the kiss he whispered "I love you too" 

But you always know that he will be in your heart. 

Even though your heart belongs to someone else now

I love you Jeongmin. And I found someone that makes me happy

"i love you too. I'm glad you are happy" jeongmin whispered

You looked out in the sky and there he was 

Jeongmin waved to you and you waved back 

Tears couldn't stop falling as you saw that face you miss so much 

Always be happy Jeongmin mouthed

You couldn't help but just to nod

He smiled and disappeared 

You held your hand closer to you 

The ring Jeongmin gave you was on it

Maybe meeting N was fate and Jeongmin was the one that brought you and N together

You couldn't help to smile 

Never forget that promise to always smile

"I promise" you whispered
