Chapter 1: I've just finished reading this story and wow, I'm left speechless. I know nearly nothing about many of the things described in this story yet everything seemed so vivid and real while I was reading it. I cried and felt both Hyukjae's and Donghae's pain and your writing is so elaborate and beautiful. In a way, it reminded me that ptsd is a very, very real and horrible thing that many, if not all, soldier have to go through. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story.

Chapter 1: Aww this is so sweet, and you can relate to the story well thinking about your loved ones in war or even to those who are just working abroad.. life is hard with all this distance separatingthem to each other, living everyday with worry for one another but love and faith keeps us all going and the hope that one day we will be together again and that's enough.

Chapter 1: oh shoot, imagine dragons' demon!

This is nicely written! You portrayed every feeling and situation just so fine <3 this piece of writing is good because you elaborated on every single element, so that your readers wouldn't be left with cliff-hanger or numerous of whys.

and the way you characterized donghae was just beautiful, like, he wasn't all that "it's fine, hyukjae, i'm fine don't worry." but he's "yes i'm hurt but it's fine because it wasn't really much of hurt."---uhm how do i say this? idek, but it's cool!

and hyukjae; he has his nightmare-ish past but that he wasn't the type to bury himself in the past, instead he wanted to move on.

OH MAN I LOVE YOU, YOU GOT ME?
((bonus points for using imadragon's line muehehehe))

Chapter 1: omg it's so nice ;3;
the wars in my country had long ended when i was born so i can't say i really understand the trauma and the haunting past that a soldier can experience, but i think you portray it really nicely?
i mean there's a thin chance a survived soldier will be able to return back as a happy man (altho they won the war), knowing that they have killed men who also join the war to protect their dearest ;;;; i like the trauma, the haunting nightmares, and most especially how donghae deals with it by sharing his own worries as well ;3; there's some understanding needed to be able to cope with hyukjae's condition after all ;;;
Thank you for writing this, as always <3

Chapter 1: Thanks for writing a story in honor of the veterans.

I like how your story isn't only about what Hyuk is going through, but even the people at home are going through their own trauma. There isn't any miracle cure to make the nightmares go away, but I think they will some kind of peace together.
