[HIATUS] Fail Proof
Description
"Give me one reason why I should follow your orders!" Baram snarled at her smirking grandfather. He merely stood up and leaned forward, the stench of his alcohol-riddled breath wafting across his desk, permeating the air she breathed. She wrinkled her nose in disgust.
"Because, Baram, your brother might not survive if you don't." He dialed a number on her phone and held it out to her with a triumphant glower.
"N-Noona-a!" Jimin's voice cracked from the receiving end of the phone. Baram gasped in horror as tears stung in her eyes. A strangled whimper escaped from her lips as she tried to form comprehensible words. Jimin... Jiminnie!!!
"J-Jiminnie!"
"Noona!"
"Jiminnie, don't worry, I'm coming to get you."
"Noona, I'm okay, don't do what he says--!" Her grandfather slammed the phone on the ground, successfully shattering the screen, impairing it irreparably.
"You BAS--!" Baram shrieked before being slammed into the wall by one of her father's many bodyguards. She struggled to get to him, scratching, slapping, kicking, doing all she could to get her fingers at his throat.
It was no use. It took a total of four men to tie her to a chair and induce her into a deep slumber. Her last thought before losing consciousness was of how much her little brother needed her.
(A short story inspired by BangTan Boys' "No More Dream" and "We are Bulletproof Part 2.")

Description: Park Baram is the grand-daughter of the wealthiest man in Seoul. Her parents are in jail for thievery and first-degree murder. Her younger brother, Park Jimin, has been ignoring her lately and hanging out with a bunch of boys that she doesn't approve of. She isn't proud of the fact that she is a bounty hunter working for her grandfather. As a result of all this, her school treats her like a pariah. After seeing so many deaths, so many broken families, she has lost her ability to fall in love. The only one she cares for is her brother. Until she meets a guy named Min Yoongi.

Personality: Cold, Sharp, Witty, Intuitive
Description: Min Yoongi has been fighting for custody over his half-brother, Kim Taehyung, against the latter's biological father for three years. He finally wins the case when Kim Hyungsin (Taehyung's father) is arrested for life for drug possession and third-degree murder. Now that Yoongi is of age to take care of Taehyung on his own, he vows to dedicate all his time and efforts into raising him the right way. That is, until Taehyung's life is endangered again when a certain bounty hunter keeps returning to capture Taehyung for his father's many debts. What he doesn't expect is to fall in love with said bounty hunter.

His older half-brother is over-over-protective of him. He's an ulzzang at school. He has hundreds of stalker fangirls. All he wants is a normal life! In fact, the only normal person in his life is Park Baram, the coffee shop Noona of whom he has had a crush on for a while. Not only is she pretty and kind, she cares about him enough to listen to his problems and offer advice. He will do anything for her, even give up his life for her.

Personality: Charming, Cheesy, Rebellious, Firm (in Beliefs)
Description: Park Jimin wants to have a normal life, just like his best friend, Taehyung. But, being an ulzzang, the brother of a bounty hunter, and the grandson of the wealthiest man in Seoul ensures that his life will never be normal. He wants to remind his sister that there is no need to fuss over him, for her to worry about her own life. He wants her to get a boyfriend. He wants her to be happy. That can't happen when his grandfather has a tight grip on their lives. Now that he's being held for the capture of his best friend, all he can do is sit and watch everyone he loves get ruined by his grandfather.
