Let's Go Dancing in the Snow

Description

''Stop. Just stop it Baekhyun. You are killing yourself by doing all these.''

The boy's dark brown orbs stared into the girl's, unwavering.

         A deathly hush.

''I can't, because everything that kills me...''

One step closer. One genuine smile.

         ''...makes me feel alive.''

''But zombies don't smile,'' She said. '' You are comparing him to a living dead now?'' Sam, her best friend and cousin only laughed in utmost amusement. 25th of December 2012, two extraordinarily contrasting souls crossed path, having no clue to how closely entwined their fates ------ comparable to the petals and leaves of a Spider Lily would be.

“You know why a Spider Lily is called the flower of separation? It’s because the leaves and the flowers can never meet. The flowers can only blossom when the leaves are all withered away. They miss one another to grow the sprout and bloom the flowers, but in the end they leave their yearning for each other and never unite. Isn’t it beautiful? Even in death, they seem to miss each other like lovers.” ~The Bride of the Water God's quote.

Dive into her world, and their story which will show you how goodness sneaks though a door that you didn't know left open, and learn that you should let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith and in purity.

Foreword

Christmas isn't Christmas, till it happens , in your heart.

Indifferent, the girl's eye flitted quickly, a single , a few miniscule details.

Somewhere, deep inside you, is where Christmas, really starts.

A rushed but exquisite sketch of a peculiar and frail-looking boy dressed in a hospital gown emerged.

She looked up and frowned, the twinkle in his eyes were unmistakable, his lips stretched slowly like curtains drawing dramatically, revealing a brilliant smile on his perfectly angular face.

She could not capture the beauty of the moment perfectly.

''Happy birthday to you, Merry Christmas to you, Byun Baek Hyun!'' He sang and clasped his muddy hands together in glee. He made a wish and blew out the candles of his mud(literally) cake.

That rendered the girl with a heart of stone speechless.

         Pitter-patter,  it began to drizzle.

Let's see how you can still smile. She thought.

The boy with the wavy windblown hair watched his mud cake dissolve into oblivion blankly.

Her eyes widened when the boy pulled out the needle of his drip casually and started twirling clumsily in the rain. A throaty and musical chortle. ''I guess a white Christmas was too much to ask for.''

A gentle and faint smile decorated his delicate features.

Click, her mental camera snapped the picturesque moment. The girl's grip on her sketchpad tightened.

         The surreal Christmas boy,

         Who wished for snow,

         Who danced in the rain,

         Byun Baek Hyun,

         I will remember you.
