It was meant to be a very fun day for everyone. It was already the last day of school and days after, they would be having their graduation already. One person particularly stood out from the rest while drinking a cup of punch in one of the popular’s seat. Krystal only wore a slightly fitting dress covered by a coat of a man who almost tried to let her change what she was wearing.

It was very common for her boyfriend, Minho, to be very demanding at times but she never really mind. Rather than considering it as an act of desperation, it was actually cute and what she always did was push him to his limits.

The rest of the teenagers were drinking hard while some were dancing their bodies out- to be labelled as attention seekers- in the crowd wherein not only those ones who kept quiet before started to show some of their colors although it was very bad for them to show it in such uncompromising way.

Krystal felt a sudden vibration from her pocket, indicating she had received a message from someone.

She almost giggled as she thought of Minho texting her but it was from Kai instead. Minho’s cousin from outer space – oops! His cousin from his mother’s side.

Meet me at the gate. I’ve got something to show you. x

Kai was someone she really despised from all people. He gave harm instead of care. His eyes were always full of hate towards people but he would always soften around her thinking she was fragile like a porcelain from China. It was not a bad thing at first but as soon as she started to feel he kind of liked her that way, it became very awkward for her.

Left with no other choice, she chose to speak with him clearly about what she felt. It was today or never at all.

“I knew you’d come!” Kai grinned and rubbed his hands together, breathing a sense of relief that she had come but her eyes were too cold for him to read what was going on her mind. A pang of disappointment came to him… once again.

“I don’t like beating around the bush so Kai, I’m sorry but you’re not someone I want to be with. Minho is more than enough for me you know? I really love him and as much as I don’t want to hurt you by saying these, you need to know in order for you to move on and find another person to love. I’m not worth it and please don’t break everything by confessing now, I know you wanted to do that,” she sighed and turned around, not wanting to hear any response from the lad,

“I’m sorry but I need to do this,” with that response,

His lips were on already on hers.

But… their complicated life has just yet began and more buts were about to come. She was sure because as soon as she turned around once again, Minho was there with tears trickling down his face.
