Foreword

There was a mirror. Its height might be taller than most humans’s heights, about one or two heads with the width no wider from their shoulders width. The mirror’s style was simplistic—it was just a mirror, but you can tell it was an antique. A dark black frame with old engravings was attached to it and could also be very rusty had it not been made from obsidian.

This mirror never had a writings in them, until recently.

It was of many sentences written vertically. All the sentences were written in Chinese characters from right, but in a reversed manner. You must know that such action was very difficult, unless said person was left-handed, but one could not possibly write from inside the mirror.

The sentences reads:

Don’t be afraid!

I won’t hurt everybody. I won’t fear or haunt. I’ve been in this mirror for a long time, but I was not born from here. I am stuck in here and ‘he’ will never come here again.

My wish for those who looked at the writings on this mirror is for them to help me.

Don’t break this mirror. I can’t get out. Should this mirror break, I will vanish. I know it. I’m not here because of my own intention, but because of ‘my other self’. He lived in me and he has taken my place in your world.

You are free to not believe this, because I never wished for you to believe, but to help me. ‘He’ resembles me, had my clothes of when I commerce, my height, only because he was a part of me. Our only difference is our hair, whereas I have dark hair, like my sweetheart, and his were bright gold like sunshine that reflected all his cruel demeanor. Should you see him, don’t fight him.

I do not wish for anyone to get hurt.

Look for Huang Zi Tao. It is my demand for everyone who saw this to protect him from this person. ‘He’ is not me. ‘He’ will act like me or do other things to hurt Zi Tao, but ‘He’ is not me. ‘He’ is—

The text was only a smudge of red ink in the mirror, could not be touched or read by anyone. You can just feel how desperate the person behind the mirror, but that was not the last of it. There were three sentences that followed:

Please,

Protect Zi Tao.

-Wu Yi Fan.
