A long time ago when Demons from the depths of hell teared the land of earth. A man named Jaw Long Wu a young gaurdian of the dragons battled these demons along with the help of his dragons. Even though he was merely mortal he ended up condemning them down to the depths of the Earth with the help of praying to the kingdom of the heavens to lend him some strength. The Earth was was finally at peace and the humans of earth and made him king. As a reward for his bravery the king of the heavens gifted Jaw Long Wu with a well and located it in the grounds of the palace. Out of the well stepped out the most beautiful celestial being that Jaw Long has ever laid eyes one. He instantly asked her hand in marriage and she accepted him. However the king of the heavens warned the Jaw Long that not every generation that is to come in his name will a celestial being will come out of this well and be the wife of you son, grandson, great grandson and so on. If they turn the age of 25 before another maiden comes out of this well then they are destined to have a mortal wife. Jaw Long lived happily with his fair maiden from the well and ruled his earth kingdom with fair and kindness. However he never forgot the warning about the well from the Heaven King and cared for the well so that this children will remember to respect it in the future. This was the start of the Wu dynasty.

The Wu dynasty ruled the kingdom well and the special kings that were gifted with celestial maidens cherished them well. however soon these celestial maidens stoppped coming out of the well.  Rumours started to uprise throughout the kingdom about why the well stopped working. One rumour was that the magic of the well has faded that is why the maidens can't get through. Another was that the king of the heavens thought that it was time to stop sending maidens down to Earth. The well was soon left forgotten in the corner of the palace and no one went there anymore.

Five generations later a new heir stepped to the throne of the Wu kingdom known as Kris Wu who was at the age of 20. He didn't do much as a king though he would sometimes attend court sessions just as an update on how the country was going but that was pretty much it. He would also regect every woman that he was introduced to. It wasn't that he was mean but he could never connect with any of them. Which sprouted a rumour that he only had an interest in men. However he really wished he could find a wife that he is able to connect with. Kris would sit next to the well that people who lost hope on and would wish that a person could come out and love him or at least be his friend.

Would King Kris's wish come true? Or would all his hope on the well be a waste of time?
