  Amu Kitagawa is a girl who was sworn off out of the joys in life by her parents.  She has no company and no friends. Her house is located in the outskirts of the city where there are creepy forests whatsoever and this was done to 'protect' her from the 'harmful' environment caused by the humans outside of their home. She lived with only her parents and a puppy named Miki. Despite being away with other people, she is educated, however, only by her father who is a known professor in the city and by her mom who seemed to be all-knowing of all the things to do indoors. The things she learns are limited though, because her parents wouldn't teach her the things that would 'poison' her mind, including Human Relations. 

 She was kidnapped as a baby but was eventually got back by her parents. In fear of being taken away from them again, they raised her without help of anyone.

 As her curiosity grew, Amu finally decided to spend her one wish that was given to her by her parents. And this wish, as her parents had promised, will get granted no matter what it is. And Amu's wish was to be taken to the city, even though it's only every time her mother goes to the market.

 Daiki Arioka is a normal university student with the looks and talents of an idol. He is one of the few members of the ikemen group in his university and he has always been the one who organizes the group's events and get-togethers, showing his friends absolute importance.

Once when he was walking by himself, Daiki, in search of a peaceful place to unwind, happened to pass by the city's public market...and there he saw a girl. And as they say...
