We all have that special person that we adore, like, and love.

That one person that brings us into a rollercoaster of feelings

filled with happiness, lonliness, yearning, confusion and all other clusters.

(Because we all know that's the only way to describe them.)

Drabble One: Small Touches

Small touches are only small when it's not with you.

Because, with you, they're bigger than life,

they're a cause for a small heartattack,

and my heart can't help but stutter uncontrollably.

Drabble Two: Turn Around

There's nothing interesting to look at on the back of your head.

There's nothing on the back of your shirt either.

I stare because it's you that my eyes meet.

And, always, I find myself wishing you'd turn around just once.

Drabble Three: Projected Skies

I just can't stay away from you so we stay here in the dark, in the silence.

We lie side by side and I want to hold your hand,

but I settle for our hands to touch

underneath this projected sky.

Drabble Four: Hide and Click

Botanical gardens are beautiful

but we take pictures of each other instead of the flowers.

We lose ourselves in the twists and turns..

And click! You got me.

Drabble Five: Forget It

Feeling one-sidedly isn't great at all.

It hurts and hurts and hurts. 

So maybe I should just forget it but deep down, I can't.

And maybe deep down you can't too.

Drabble Six: Heartache

It's an internal battle raging and nothing could lead me out but myself.

But I don't want to think about it. 

Why would I when all it brings are deep thoughts and heartache?

So, instead, I listen to music that try to distract me but amplify the feelings.

Drabble Seven: Warmth in the Cold

Freezing in a cold, cloudy day isn't ideal

But when I'm forgetting it with you, it seems alright--

Especially when cold is replaced by your warm hands.

...Actually, it's better than alright.

Drabble Eight: Fingers in your Hair

I fix your hair

and you fix mine

but I didn't know if it was my imagination that

your fingers stayed for a second longer than they needed
