Final
Hopefully“Mr. Byun, please,” I begged.
When will he stop following me around?
The contract was already signed. There’s no reason for us to see each other anymore, aside from board meetings.
“Soonkyu, I already told you to stop calling me Mr. Byun and just call me Baekhyun like how you used to in the past,”
I’m on my way to the supermarket to buy my daily needs.
I live alone in a condominium.
My parents live somewhere in the countryside since they told me they want to. I built a house just for the two of them.
What about my sisters? Well, the two of them are living in the States with their husbands.
I think I’ll forever be alone in this life.
Oh wait, I spoke too soon.
I completely forgot about this annoying guy following me around like a lost puppy.
Since the condominium is just near the supermarket, I decided to just walk.
“Geez, Baekhyun. Don’t you have any other things to do aside from following me?”
“Nope,” he grinned. “I canceled all of my schedules today just for you,”
“What? Are you crazy? Why did you cancel all of it? What about your important meetings-“
“I see you still care for me,” he smiled like an idiot.
“Appa,” I said over the phone, “What is it this time?”
“Soonkyu-ah,” he started, “My friend-“
“A blind date again? Appa!”
“Yah! How dare you raise your voice at me,” he yelled. “Aiigoo, my daughter, just meet my friend’s son, okay? And you wouldn’t believe who his son is!”
“Why? Is he some kind of a supermodel or an idol?” I taunted.
“Sure he is! He is Lee Sungmin of Super Junior! Weren’t you his number one fan?”
“Sungmin? As in Lee Sungmin? Appa! Why didn’t you say so! Of course I’ll meet him,”
“I knew you wouldn’t refuse this one,”
I’m meeting Sungmin Oppa.
I can’t wait.
I placed my hand on my chest, “My fangirl heart, please calm down,”
Is this the first time you saw a CEO noona fangirling over Super Junior?
The day has come! I’m meeting Sungmin Oppa.
I arrived at Club Espresso.
This coffee shop held so many memories of my first love.
This was where Baekhyun asked me to be his girlfriend.
This was the place where I said yes.
This was the place where we hugged each other so tight.
This was the place where I felt so happy in my entire life.
Sungmin Oppa’s arrival broke my train of thoughts.
“You’re Lee Soonkyu, right?” he asked, “I’m sorry, were you waiting long? I actually came from Inkigayo,”
“It’s okay, I can’t do anything about your schedule,” I smiled.
“Did you order anything yet?” he asked.
“Uh,”
“I’ll take that as a no,” he chuckled. “Excuse me miss, two Black Americano, please,” he ordered then he faced me, “I hope you’re fine with Black Americano,”
“I actually love Black Americano, plus it’s winter. It is a perfect season for some Black Americano,” I assured him, “How’d you know I would like Black Americano?”
“I actually did some research about you,” he winked.
“I didn’t know I had a fan,” I giggled.
Then our drinks arrived.
“Anyway, Soonkyu,” he started. “Do you know our fathers were actually close friends during middle school?”
I looked up from my drink, “No way,”
He laughed, “I didn’t believe it myself,”
“My dad never mentioned it,”
“I heard from your dad, you’re my number one fan?”
“He sa
