Hey guys~ we meet again. you know already it's the time to challenge again. Though i'm going to clarify here that once i'm done with one round of all ZE:A members' birthdays, there will be no more birthday centered mini challenges. We will begin with new sort of mini challenges bcuz come on...it'll be boring to keep repeating the same thing. i just need to finish with one round of birthday challenge to be fair to all members. Which means, we will end with Minwoo challenge(which maybe will be combined with Kwanghee challenge or maybe not...depends on my ideas later)...hope you guys are clear with it...

Now that we've clarified on that matter, let's get down to business. February is the month of three members birthday. That's quite a big thing rite? hmm, i think with three members in a month...we will need to serve fanfic filled with enough spices for a big celebration. don't you think?

So, here's the new challenge.
I got the idea from the small break i'm having at this moment with public holidays here now for a couple of days. Things will go crazy n tiring again for sure, but that break deserves to be cherished, right?

Prompt: A Break to Remember

Title: Up to you, doesn't have to include prompt. the prompt is just to give you a starting point to get ideas to build your story.

Reminder: the word 'break' can have many meanings. check your dictionaries and feel free to interprate it in any meanings you want to. Don't limit your interpretation to what I'm referring to. i would love to be entertained by your creativity n interpretations.

Characters: Junyoung / Dongjun / Kevin (you don't necessarily need to make all three as main characters BUT if you're going to include other ZE:A members, the three members need to have bigger roles than the rest, obviously, AND you are allowed to use other characters as well...female characters can have main roles but for any male other than those three, they need to have smaller roles than the three, bcuz they're the stars here, clear?)

Genre: Romance + any other two genre (yes, you need to have three elements- can be action/drama/horror/angst/fluff/sliceoflife/comedy/fantasy/sciencefiction@_@/adventure/crime/historical/ mystery/thriller/psychology/tragedy/ etc.etc.etc but romance is the main genre for this challenge) for more infos on genre: here and here. i'm not fussy at all btw, you can even create your own genre n explain it to me n i'll take it.

Specification requirement: Love Triangle or Rectangle. Since the main genre is romance, we can not leave out our most common feature of romance plot. Let's clarify the triangle/rectangle thing. IF you're going to have a girl...make it a love rectangle. IF it's a boyxboy/ thing...then it's love triangle. is that clear? this is treading on cliche...but the challenge is how you'd twist up the cliche into something fresh n original instead of the tired same old thing. surprise me. i love to be surprised. haa. but don't worry...if you love cliches, then by all means, write as you like. no pressure. i'm just clarifying n giving ideas for those who think they have to write cliche bcuz it sounds like i'm asking for one. i'm not. i'm just challenging your creativity with something that sounds uncreative. bcuz it's not about the dish you're going to cook, but it's about how you cook the dish. ok, bad comparison but you get it, right?. *runs*

Extra rules:

- this challenge's fic need to be written from first person-narrative. you can have either just one pov OR more than one pov, if you want to...but it has to be first person narrative.
- a birthday scene is required.
- You are required to choose a song as theme song for this challenge. Preferably a song that can be associated in any way with Junyoung or Dongjun or Kevin (like songs they have sung in any event/or song they compose/ or song in their drama ost/ anything that can be related to them) you have to explain in your first page of fic how that song relates to any of the members. if it's a cover song...you can use the original version that's not sung by them of course, as long as you mentioned that they've covered the song so that i'll know how to relate. if you use song totally not related to them, of course you won't be penalized, but there will be points deducted from your accumulated points to determine winner of the challenge.
- length is any length not less than 1000 words(oh c'mon, i've just checked my extremely short chapter n even that is already 850 words so i don't think it's a big problem for you great writers, rite?), but please inform in comment section if it's going to be a oneshot or chaptered.
- deadline: Must be completed before 1st of March.
- reply with your fanfic's link in comment section here. and don't forget to link THIS challenge in your first page of fanfic.
