Lumin Jung was a 23 year old Korean-Spaniard who looked more american than korean, and loved drawing and dancing more than anything in the world. After, moving to America from Korea she decided to move back to Seoul wanting to draw its scenery which she enjoyed very much. From America her father, a Korean busniess man was able to get her an apartment. She got a job at a near by library on the main street of the famous Seoul, where all talent agencies and music production companies laid. Unlike, other american, korean, etc girls Lumin was much more quiet and shy, she didn't really like the idea of idols or korean dramas something her mom was really into. Until, the day she landed in Incheon airport and accidently bumped into a tall man, almost half her size who just looked at her like he's never seen an american girl before. Not realizing that man was none other than Lee Minho, a famous CEO who had just arrived from California. Being quite taken by her, he was determined to find out who she was. Lumin is also running away from a terrifying pass that has found her and wants to haunt her down for the rest of her life. Then her parents are found dead in Korea. Was it her brother who killed them? Or was it someone else?

Jung Lumin is a 23 year old Korean-Spaniard girl coming to Seoul from America where she moved to when she turned 8 years old. Being the artist that she is, she decided Korea was the best place for her to draw its scenery. Apart from drawing she loves dancing. Hates Korean dramas, kpop idols. Loves reading and writing apart from drawing and dancing. Much like your typical bookworm. Unlike anyone else, she can read people from the way they act, and talk around her. She keeps to herself and does not give any one opinions when she is asked, most people think that she is rude because of this but in reality she's actually a 23 year old shy when it comes to guys and querky girl who hasn't even got her first kiss. She always speaks what's on her mind when she doesn't know you.Her older brother killed three of her bestfriends after a bon fire with her witnessing her. She knows three different languages- English, Spanish & Korean.

Lee Minho is a 26 year old CEO who seems to be a very nice guy on the outside, but is actually the opposite in real life-he's cocky and thinks he's better than everyone. Believes every single girl in the world likes Korean dramas until he meets Jung Lumin. Has a younger step sister named Lucy. Although he tries to show that he doesn't care about her, when she run away from home, he's the one who goes to look for her. He usually becomes angry with the fact that Lumin can tell what he's feeling from the way he acts and talks. He is seen constantly making fun of Lumin's weird name, when in reality he actually likes it because it suits her different personality. On his free time he usually enjoys taking a stroll on the beach of his beach house thinking about a lost love from when he was a College student. Is good friends with Choi Jin hyuk.

    Lucy Gray Lee is Minho's younger step sister from his father's second marriage. Although the relationship between the two is shaky, Minho is very protective of his new little sister. She is 22 years old and is a bit like Lumin. She is of Italian and Puerto Rican descent and like Lumin she is always casted out by the Lee family. She becomes good friends with Lumin and sees her as an older sister since hers passed away from a very bad sickness. She is one of the very few people who try to get Minho and Lumin together despite their differences- in society and in ethnicity.  She loves flowers and wishes to open one up but since she is the only female besides her mother in the Lee household she is kept under watch, which causes her to often escape from her home. Aside from flowers she also loves reading something she did with her late father. She falls in love with Choi Jinhyuk- Lumin's boss. Like Lumin she is fluent in Korean, English & Spanish.

Choi Jin Hyuk is a 28 year old librarian and Lumin's boss. He's bestfriends with Lee Minho through which he meets Lucy Gray. Although she is a couple years younger than him he feels attracted to her. Respecting his bestfriend, he acts cold toward her. He his a very handsome man and is usually asked out on a regular basis but not from the one woman he wants to be asked.  Like Lucy he approves of Lumin & Minho relationship and hopes they can get together. He has no living relatives and lives on his own in a very nice apartment, which leaves many people asking why he works at such an old place, where he responds that it is special to someone he likes. Acts like a brother figure for Lumin seeing as she has no family members in Korea/

Jang Soo Mi is a 23 year old Korean girl who works alongside Lumin. From the beginning she shows full hatred toward Lumin and becomes jealous of her new found friendship with Lee Minho. Soo Mi is actually a very good girl at heart but lets jealousy get in the way of her living a happy life. She had an older sister who died, and who happens to be Minho's past lover as well. Although, she actually hates him, she also loves him which is a reason she can't let him and Lumin live happily. She enjoys shopping and plotting what she would do next to ruin Jung Lumin. She sees herself begin to fall in love with Jin Hyuk but he only has eyes for the american girl who always seems to walk in.  Soo mi also tries to destroy Lucy's life.
