Kai was left alone by the stream to re-think. The silence is suffocating, he said to himself. It reminded him of the past.

Scratch that.

"Kai. Are you okay? You've been spacing out." Lu Han said in a soft tone which broke Kai's short reverie. 

"Mianhae. I probably was thinking too deeply." he sheepishly smiled.

"Can we..." [I know what some of you byuntaes are thinking! XD but no!]

"Can we go to the stream now?" the deer boy said while motioning to the stream.

Oh dear. 

Kai noticed that his paper swans were missing. 

Somehow, the deer boy sensed Kai's dilemma so he handed Kai one of his own.

"Here." Lu Han said with a small grin.

The latter nodded as he took the piece from the former.

The said boys walked to the stream in silence. 

Lu Han wanted to break the ice, but knowing him, he wouldn't wan't to initiate a conversation first.

The rustling of the leaves and the noise of the nearby stream was the only noise that could be heard from the distance.

As they were approaching, Kai can't help but to marvel at the tranquility of the surroundings.

The curlicues of the vines which encompassed the maple trees, the twigs nearby that were full of honey bees.

Simply breathtaking.

"I never knew how beautiful this place was before!" Kai exclaimed.
