As you step into the restaurant, the lights starts to dim, engulfing you in a momentary darkness. Before advancing further into the restaurant you stopped, waiting for your eyes to adjust to the darker setting. The decorative Christmas lights that was pinned on to the ceilings edging flickered on revealing a candle lit cake in the palms of those you held close to your heart. The members slowly walk towards you while singing their song "Happy Birthday"

You smile as a tear illuminated by the Christmas lights escapes your eye, rolling down your cheek following gravity's rules.

Your vision blurrs as your pulse quickens 

In that brief moment everything slowed down, letting you take in every little detail occurring. As if all of the energy  from your head to your toes were completely drained out - your body went limp and met the cold floor. While slipping in and out of conscious you remember the members shocked faces, the cake hitting the ground and breaking apart into a million pieces that scattered across the marbled tiled,  how the members hurriedly rushed over to you but felt like a year for them to reach you, unclear of who sat you up, held you, and continuously shook you as your body goes cold. Then ..

silence.
