Description
A fateful encounter brought them together, Kim Namjoon, the upbeat leader of an up-and-coming kpop group and Jaemi, a sweet, homesick girl from California. Whenever she was feeling down, HE would always cheer her up and light up her day. Just the thought of him would bring a smile to her face-but HE was not her boyfriend. It was Jungkook, who had been watching over her from the very start, ever since that fateful encounter. She understands him like no one else does and appreciates his passion and generosity. Unknowingly, they start to fall for each other and the feeling of betrayal sets in.

I've just picked up my Korean cultural books from my dad's office at Movement Lifestyle. He's a choreographer there. I've just made up my mind. I, Lee Jaemi, will move to Korea next year to attend Ewha Woman's University. I've asked my parents to help me brush up on my Korean and got a few Korean culture books to help me. I smile in bliss as I walk down the sunny sidewalk in Santa Monica. The breeze blows my soft curls out of my face. I close my eyes and savor the moment. I hope Korea's weather will be this nice. I hear a skateboard and open my eyes. Suddenly I'm on the floor and drop my books. The person who bumps into me gets down and helps me pick them up.
"Thank you." I smile at him and he gives me a quick nod. I continue to walk. He was kind of cute.

Jungkook
I really like it here in California. The city is so lively, yet calm. I take in the sea breeze and continue to skateboard up the sidewalk. I'm on my way to dance lessons at Movement Lifestyle. I'm really excited. I'm not paying attention to where I'm going and I crash into someone. It's a girl. I immediately get down to help her. Should I say something? No, my English isn't very good. My hand brshes against hers as I give her books back. I notice that the titles are in Korean.
"Thank you." She smiles at me. What a beautiful smile. I give her a quick nod and get back on my skateboard. I turn around and watch her as she walks away. The wind blows her hair back. Was that an angel?
