Description
Kwon Hwayoung is not only Kang Minhyuk's (CNBlue's Drummer) number one fan but is also his longest and closest friend. She has obviously been in love with him since their first meeting and considers him her 'star'. While working on the set of his latest drama, Heartstrings, as a wardrobe coordinator, she discovers that he does not feel the same as she obviously does. Instead Minhyuk is infatuated by his co-star and opposite, Woori, who hates Hwayoung down to the smallest detail. As both girls fight for the attention of Minhyuk, Hwayoung slowly discovers herself, her relationship with her 'star' and her future with the help of the cast of Heartstrings, members of CNBlue and others.

Immediately after the last note of both a guitar and a drum, the room was filled with applause from both actors and staff. On the set of the hit drama, Heartstrings, Kang Minhyuk modestly bowed in recognition to the praise given to him. Staring from afar a lone staff member, Kwon Hwayoung, simply smiled at her friend's achievement.
To her, Kang Minhyuk was not just her longest and closest friend she had, but he was her star. He was a star that she had cherished and supported even before he became famous from both being CNBlue's drummer and an actor. It was only right for her to be there for him no matter what and at that moment of his performance she could see his star-like qualities glow brighter than ever before. This made her smile even bigger than before.
After many attempts at catching his attention, Minhyuk finally came over to Hwayoung with an equally big smile on his face. Walking towards her with his co-star, fellow band mate, and friend, Jung Yonghwa, he then excitedly lifted the smaller girl in the air and held her in a tight, but comfortable hug. In this embrace, whether known to Minhyuk, Hwayoung blushed at this contact between the two of them, something she had tried to keep a secret from him. A few moments later they both released each other from their embrace.
"Oppa! You did so well." Hwayoung spoke and then turned her attention to Yonghwa, "... and you too oppa! The melody and lyrics you wrote were so sweet."
Yonghwa slightly laughed, "Thanks Hwayoung but I hate to admit it but I didn't write those lyrics. Just the melody this time."
"Ah! But if you only wrote the melody then who wrote the lyrics?"
Then in a big surprise, Yonghwa turned to the boy next to him, "He did it!"
Hwayoung's eyes grew in amazement, "Bwoh?! Minnie you didn't tell me that you did that!"
"Heheh." Minhyuk chuckled to himself, "I had some inspiration from a special girl."
At that moment Hwayoung's ears perked up.
Was this the moment that she was looking for, the moment that took her years of their friendship to finally come to?
Did he finally realize her obvious infatuation with him and even wrote a song about it?
As questions kept on spawning in Hwayoung's mind, she seemed too distracted to see another girl pop up in front of her eyes.
"Yah! Kwon Hwayoung, are you okay?" Minhyuk's voice rang clearly through her clouded mind.
Departing from her excitement about being a potential inspiration to her star's song, Hwayoung came back to earth and realized that another girl was next to her. This girl, Woori, was Minhyuk's opposite in the drama. Whenever the two were in a scene with each other Hwayoung chuckled at the ridiculousness that her friend's character went through to please a girl that wasn't even interested in him. Now fully aware of her presence it puzzled her why she was even there in the first place since she didn't hear her being called over in the first place.
"Now back to what I was saying. Hwayoung I'd like you to meet the inspiration of my song." Minhyuk smiled and put his arm around Woori's shoulders. "She's my girlfriend."
With those three words echoing through Hwayoung's head, all that she could see was the glow in Minhyuk shrink with every second that passed by. Minhyuk was no longer the star that she had cherished all by herself but now someone else's. No matter how much she wanted to kick and scream about this revelation all she could do was smile.
"Congratulations." she managed to say. Without notice to those in front of her, Hwayoung felt herself running away from the set, tears in her eyes.
