Recipe for Disaster

Description

Add a sprig of lies to a bowl of innocence. Watch it as it becomes corrupted. (best served chilled)

Foreword

A/N: It's been the longest time, eh? Written for the 2013 summer kpop_ficmix challenge. A remix of 921227's fic the stepford wife. It's kinda crappy, but I worked pretty hard and long on this so I hope it's okay. Awkward uny scenes implied here and there. Plot kind of spins off crazily from the basic skeleton given. Someone needs to give me a tight slap.

Chapter 2: "Chefs are nutters. They're all self-obsessed, delicate, dainty, insecure little souls and absolute psychopaths. Every last of them." ~Gordon Ramsay

That pretty sums up Chef Jongin in this story. *can't help to put that in since you mentioned the devil in hell's kitchen*
I swear I had a bad feeling about Joonmyun earlier. Call it women's intuition but the signs were all there, but Kyungsoo, in haste to hide his own guilt, turned blind to all the clues and subtle hints even Jongin dropped(pun-intended) from time to time. And yes. The world is unfair. Fantastic story-telling! Wish it had a much happier ending...but then it wouldn't have caused the same swirling of emotions of regret and sorrow that I'm having right now. Good writing + Killer ending = Perfect Recipe to leave your readers tearing their hair out and sob and wail "why?!" and leave rambling comments like this one.
