Disobeying her parents’ wish for an arranged marriage with charismatic Lee Kikwang, Park Jiyeon starts to live off of her own earnings from working for the first time at a nearby café, Pinkberry with the help of her most loyal friend, Yoon Doojoon who secretly harbors feelings for her. Always being an obedient and loving daughter to her parents, they are even more grief stricken when she starts falling for the mysterious badboy, Yong Junhyung.
Character Profile:
Park Jiyeon is daughter of a wealthy family who is close friends with The Lee family. She is an obedient and kind daughter to her parents. Always doing what is right, she tries to never lose her temper and treats all people with respect. Being clumsy at times, often causes her trouble. Already graduated from Seoul University, Jiyeon tries to find her own path in life and learns new things such as falling in love for the first time.
Yong Junhyung, son of Yong Chin Ho and heir to all of his father's wealth and possessions. Being raised in an environment without a mother by his side, he gets often lonely. His first and 'last' love was his highschool sweetheart Hana. He lives in his own house in front of a private park and also lives off his own earnings working as a bartender and a waiter for the five star restaurant, Douzo. He often is seen riding his motocycle than his car.
Lee Kikwang is the appointed husband for Jiyeon. His family is very close with the Park family. Never having truly loved anyone, he is the typical playboy who spends his nights partying and sleeping with girls. Playful and likes to have fun, he has also never worked a day in his life, having everything given to him but he starts to learn these simple things from meeting Jiyeon.
Yoon Doojoon is the only son of a well known family. He befriended Jiyeon when she was in elementary school due to her being bullied by her classmates. He had always loved Jiyeon but kept his feelings to himself, afraid it might ruin their friendship. Like Jiyeon, Doojoon is always generous and kind to everyone and anyone but if there is ever a time when Jiyeon was in danger, she is his first priority.
