The Twenty Two year old is dating the rather charming Kim Jongin, also known as Kai who is currently volunteering at the local children's home. Kyungsoo himself works part time at the aquarium in town and both go to the same university so they see each other enough to get by.

 

Kyungsoo's stubborn and Kai's a day dreamer, the former likes watching action movies while the later prefers Disney, to which Kyungsoo hates for his own reasons.

 

'They're stupid, who believes in that crap anyway' 

 

The answer is Kai, he believes and he has a good reason to as well. Kai has a secret that he can tell others but can't show, if he does he won't be able to say he can do it anymore because he won't be able to. The only person he can tell and have it stay is the one he loves but if that person doesn't believe then there's no point.

 

Before he shows Kyungsoo what makes him special, he first has to get the older to believe him, stop saying that he's lying and that it's not true. Kai needs Kyungsoo to believe him because if he doesn't, he can't ever prove himself to the boy he loves and if he shows what he's capable off without him believing, he won't be special anymore.

 

He's also afraid the shorter will leave him. 

 

And Kai doesn't want Kyungsoo to leave him so for now he'll have to put up with the beating down of his imagination, being told what he says is all lies and the constant arguments over what's real and what's not.
