Chapter One - Unable to Reveal their Love until the End 

 

(They are both age 12 at this time)

   

Choi and Yoona are both mopping the floor

"Hey Choi, he he you missed a spot" said Yoona

"No you missed a spot ha-ha" said Choi

 

They muck around for a bit. Mother comes in

"Hey what do you think you two are doing?

no mucking around, or you'll do more cleaning up"

 

"Sorry Yoona , I got you into trouble" said Choi

"No problems, we both got ourselves in trouble he he" said

Yoona as she smiled at Choi.

 

A couple hours passed by.

Yoona and Choi are both outside,

"Yoona come here"

"Yes mother" said Yoona as she walked to her Mother.

"You will go to the farm and do some farming"

"Just me?" asked Yoona, "Yes just you" said her mother.

"But shouldn't Choi come...."

"Just you, or you won't get any dinner"

Yoona looked at the ground "Yes Mother"

Yoona walked off into the direction to the shed

Choi ran up to Yoona, "Hey why are you looking so sad Yoona, did mum upset you?"

Yoona picked up some farming equipment "please don't

follow me Choi...or I'll get into trouble"

"why Yoona" asked Choi. "I have to farm by myself"

"If you come help, I'll get into trouble".

and she walked off.

Choi had a sad look on his face.

 

Choi ran into the house to find mother. "Mother,

why did you let Yoona go alone to farm, Dad always said

have at least two people farm" said Choi

"I make the orders not you, plus your father isn't here

so I am making the rules, if you go to the farm to help

Yoona, there will be consequences" said his mother.

Choi stormed off.

 

As Yoona walked to the farm, she had memories of her and

Choi playing together at the farm when they were 5 years

old. Choi was chasing her while their father was farming.

Yoona finally got to the farm and she got some weeding equipment

and some gloves. She only had thongs on because there were no

boots to wear at the farm. She knew what dangers lurked in the

farming areas. Yoona was gathering her farming equipment and

walked into the direction of where her father’s farm was.

 

 

(The Farm had banana trees, apples, oranges, so many fruits plus

a ton of veggie groups)

 

Yoona was taking out the weeds, out of the close by veggie patches by pulling them out.

She was carefully looking around for dangers. "Kissssss" she herd.

A snake had lunged at her with two hole marks near her ankle.

"Oh no I have been bitten, I must go back to the house

to get help". she knew it was too far and that she would die soon.

"HELP, someone Help" shouted Yoona. But she knew no one was near

to be able to hear her cries.

 

Her view became all gloomy, she wasn't walking right and tumbled to

the ground. "Yoona!!!, what has happened to you!" asked Choi.

She rubbed her ankle and he knew what had happened. "Hang on Yoona,

don't worry" said Choi as he grabbed her ankle and started on

where the snake had bit her.

 

 

Yoona's view was coming back, she saw Choi sitting outside just

playing with a piece of straw. "Choi is that you" asked Yoona.

"Yoona! your awake, don't get up so soon silly, your still weak

from the bite" said Choi. "Where am I, how did you save me"

"you’re in the farm house, when I was walking down to get here, I herd

you scream" said Choi as he wiped the sweat off Yoona's forehead.

"What about the poison" asked Yoona, "Don't worry (with a smile)

I the poison out and gave you a small antidote that we

kept at the farm" "You’re going to be alright".

 

Yoona smiled as Choi walked away to get more cold water, and

a tear ran down her eye as she knew she would have died if

he wasn't there for her. She slept through the afternoon and woke

up to find that Choi was gone. She got out of bed slowly and walked

outside. As she got outside she noticed that Choi had already done

a quarter of the veggie patches weeding, but there was a lot left to do. She saw

Choi just weeding and it was starting to get cold. It was slowly turning

dark, so she started to walk to get Choi and tell him they should go back home.

 

"Choi, it’s almost night, let’s go home." asked Yoona "oh it's nearly night time

ha-ha, ok let me get your stuff and my stuff and we'll go" said Choi. "How are you feeling" asked Choi, "Alright, but I would

have been dead if it wasn't for you" replied Yoona. She wanted

to hug him for helping him save her, but she didn't know

if he really wanted one.

Choi went to get all the equipment they took and they both

started walking into the direction of where the house was.

 

As they were walking up to the direction of the house, Yoona looked

at Choi, "What?" asked Choi "Oh nothing?" said Yoona as she looked away.

Choi smiled and ran into the shed to drop all their equipments.

"CHOI". They both stared where the shout came from and it was

mother. "I thought I told you not to go with Yoona to

the farm" shouted the mother. "I don't care what you say, she had gotten

hurt and Dad always said to have at least two people at the farm".

Their mother grabbed Choi and took him inside and slammed the door

shut behind Yoona. Yoona knew what was going to happen next.

Yoona had tears roll down her face. She slowly walked to the nearby

tree and looked into the sky. Only a couple of stars shone. "Why

am I always the one to be locked outside" more tears ran down her eyes.

 

3 hours later

 

 

She was starving and was cold, she hugged both her knees

and was shaking in the cold. "Kreek" she herd the front door of the

house open. It was Choi, he had brought food and a warm blanket

for her. "Why Choi, why are you doing this for me" said Yoona

as she wiped the tears away from her eye. "I don't like how mother is

treating you and your weak at the moment, you need food to get you

stronger for tomorrow" said Choi as he handed her the blanket

and placed a bowl of food on the ground in front of her. "But what if

mother sees us?" asked Yoona. "She won't cause she's sleeping " said Choi.

 

Choi sat next to Yoona, "it’s a beautiful night don't you think"

said Choi, "Unn, yes it is, so many beautiful stars" said

Yoona as she grabbed a spoonful of the rice and ate it. Choi watched

her eat and smiled at her. Yoona had finished what Choi brought

for her and she snuggled next to Choi near the tree. "Will you

stay with me here" she asked "I will always be with you, keep you warm

forever, and never let anyone hurt you" replied Choi.

"Choi, thank you" (in her mind).

 

 

That morning Yoona woke up and Choi was gone, “Kreek” as the front main house door opened.

“Yoona get ready we are going shopping and mother wants us to go” said Choi

Their mother went to go help some people for a special

event that was happening soon while Yoona and Choi were to shop

for groceries. As they were walking down the street filled with nearby shops,

Choi caught site on an item she had wanted so long ago. It was two golden lockets that you could put a picture inside to keep with you at all times.

"Hey Yoona is that what you like?" asked Choi.

"Oh it's nothing" said Yoona as they walked off. Choi and Yoona came to a food

store and told Yoona she should shop for a while alone.

Choi had gone into the store and brought what she had wanted

and that was a golden locket. He had also

brought a bracelet for her, "I'll give it to her and surprise her".

 

Choi got out of the store and went into the food shop Yoona was in.

"Hey Yoona, hows shopping" asked Choi, "Well I got some stuff

mother wanted and what's in that bag" asked Yoona. "Oh mum wanted some

stuff for her cooking so I got some for her" said Choi, "oh ok".

As Yoona paid with the money her mother gave to her they started

heading back home. Yoona noticed that the golden locket was gone.

"Who had brought them" she wondered. She looked sad but was happy to be

with Choi. They both headed home.

 

That night Choi came up to Yoona's room. Yoona was asleep.

Choi slipped the locket into her hand and she wriggled a bit but

still slept. He looked at her as if she was a very important to him.

He left a note near her bedside and left her room.

 

At midnight she woke up to find a locket in her hand. "What's this? Who, how, why?

she wondered. She saw the note on the desk near her and it read

 

Dear Yoona,

 

I brought this locket for you to remind you that I will always be in

your heart as your brother and I will always protect you.

Open the locket to see.

 

She opened the small locket and it was a picture of him smiling. She smiled

and tears ran down her face and hit the note.

She read more from the note.

 

I will always be there for you till we grow up and in time you may love

someone other than me because I am your brother.

I also kept a locket of your picture and I'll keep this in my heart

forever.

 

Love your brother, Choi.

 

She folded the letter and cried more. After a while she went to look for

Choi. Choi was not in his room, so she crept to the dining room

but he wasn't there either. She went to look for him outside and saw him

sitting at the tree they had the incident when she was kicked outside.

"Choi is that you" asked Yoona, "Hey Yoona, what are you doing

waking up in the middle of the night" said Choi "oh just wondering

where you were" said Yoona. Yoona sat next to Choi, "thank you

Choi for the present, I always wanted that locket" said Yoona.

"Oh I knew you always wanted that locket, here's the locket with the

picture of you", he handed her the locket and she opened it. It was a

picture of her smiling and she smiled. She handed it back to Choi and

he putted it back into his pocket. "I have another present for

you" said Choi "close your eyes". Yoona closed her eyes and she

felt something cold around her wrist. "You can open your eyes" said Choi.

She opened her eyes and saw a gold bracelet, "Why Choi, why all

this for me" asked Yoona, "read what it says on the bracelet" said Choi.

She read it and it read*I love you*

"Is that what you’re really feeling" said Yoona, "yes that is what I feel

but only as a brother" said Choi “because you’re the only one I have left in this world, our parents don't care for you and I don't know why but grandpa always told me to be nice to the ones closest to you or you will regret it, heh heh” said Choi . Tears ran down her face.

Yoona hugged Choi.

Choi had tears flow in his eyes, he her hair up

and down. "I love you Yoona, we will be together forever" said Choi

"Thank you for everything Choi, I know we will be together forever" said Yoona as she slept on his shoulder.

 

That morning they both woke up to hear a car come by, it was their father

and another car was following behind. Their father got out of the car

and walked into the house. The 2 other people in the other car

didn't get out. Choi and both Yoona got up, "hey fathers back"

said Yoona, "something is wrong" said Choi, "why, how come" asked Yoona,

"he looked very sad" said Choi. Father came out of the house with

Mother and they both looked at Yoona. The 2 people in the car

came out and walked to Choi and Yoona's parents. They talked for a

while, but then both Choi and Yoona saw 2 people what looked to be like parents giving money to their parents.

"Yoona, come here please" said her father. Yoona walked slowly to

her father. "Yoona listen carefully, you will be living with this

family because you are a special girl" said her father.

 

 

 

Chapter Two - An Unforgotten Loss

 

"Why do I have to go with them" asked Yoona, "don't worry little girl, we will take

wonderful care of you" said the other mother. "But I don't want to go,

I want to stay here with Choi" said Yoona, "you must go with them,

they are your real parents!" said her mother. Choi ran up and

grabbed her hand to protect her. Choi's father saw

Choi's hand slowly sliding from her wrist to her hand. "what do you

mean she's going to be living with them, she belongs here" shouted

Choi.

The other two parents looked at each other and grabbed Yoona's hand. "Let go, I don't believe

you" screamed Yoona. Choi saw Yoona getting grabbed by the two

parents who he never saw and dragged towards their car. Choi then quickly grabbed Yoona's other

hand and started pulling her towards the house while the two other

parents were pulling her in the direction of their car.

Choi's father pulled his hands off Yoona and held him back.

"CHOI! I love you, promise me you'll never ever forget me"

tears came out of Yoona as she was pulled into

the back-seat with the mother holding her by her side and the father

driving off.

 

"Let me go" said Choi as tears ran down his face.

As the parents in the car drove

off slowly, Choi chased after them but couldn't keep up. The last

thing he saw was Yoona's face crying from the back seat "YOONA!!!!"

cried Choi as he was on the ground on his knees. His tears hit the

brownish dirt road.
