Disclaimer: I own nothing but the writing, and the Zinnia!verse belongs to the lovely curionenene, who was nice enough to let me play in it (and then tell me she loved it and make the poster and background ;;). The title comes from Turin Brakes' Dark On Fire, and this song is also partially the inspiration for this fic.
I wanted Chen/Lay as a part of Zinnia; curionenene told me I had to write it myself. This is what happened. ._.

As for a description of the verse, I shall simply copy the description in Zinnia's foreward - 'the world in which this fic occurs in is based on the Yoshiwara district in Edo Japan, but in a futuristic era which, in my mind, has the conveniences of the modern world in candy-colours but with old world traditions.'
