My 21st brithdayYour POV
Right now, it’s a Saturday at 10am and my Mom calls me down stairs to eat breakfast. “Ne~ Mom! I’m coming!” I rush down and almost fall in the arms of my Father. Dad: “Honey! Why are you always in such a rush? You need to watch out! Hahahahahaha!” “Dad! Good Morning~!” I smile in his face. “Happy Birthday, ____!” Now my Mom coms out of the kitchen: “Today is your 21st Birthday! Enjoy YOUR day, my darling!” She gives me a big package. Of course, it’s immediately open. In this present was a beautiful blue dress with a lot of ruffles and sequins. While looking at the dress, my view stared to blurry. “Mom, Dad! Thank you!” I notice that my Dad was holding another package. “This one is from your aunt.” As I opened this present, I knew my aunt was thinking of all everything because these shoes are looking perfectly with the dress. Perhaps she even brought the dress? “But… Mom, where am I supposed to wear this dress?” “You’ll get to know it soon enough!” She grins evilly... “A friend of you is picking you up at two so… eat; take a shower and so on. I’ll call you when lunch is ready!” Mom pushes me into the kitchen. “Eat up! You are going to need it!” Dad stands there and laughs at me. NOW I am curios what’s going on! °Why is everyone acting like something is going to happen? It seems like something BIG! ° I ate up and went to my room. Suddenly I get an email:
Hey! When I pick u up, take ur presents with u! I already know what u got so… see u later alligator :D
°WHAT?! Why does she already know?! Ok… something is going wrong right now!° So confused as I am now, I never was. I swallow hard. °What is going on? Why do I have the feeling like everybody knows what is going on except me? ° While taking a shower I remember a song I heard:

The song ended minutes ago but I still feel every single word of it in my bones. “Hoping you’ll see, what your love means to me~.” A tear dropped on the desk. My mother was standing behind of me and was crying! “Mom! What’s wrong?” “Darling, this song is so sad… and so pretty at the same time… *snob* But why are you listing to this song all the time?” “Mom, you know… I really want a girl to see my love for her, but… I can’t find the right words to tell it to her.” Mom looks sadly out of the window. “You know, Luhan, if you don’t tell it today, you will never do it…” Shocked I look at her. “Mom… could it be…” However, she interrupts me. “Never mind! … Why are you still here?” My Mother looks at the clock at the wall. “You need to be on a party in an hour! Hurry up!” With these words, she left my room. °Aish… why did they put the invitation in the mailbox? If they didn’t do this, I could stay at home… but still whose Birthday is today…? Do I know this person? The only thing I know is that the party is for a girl, but who is it? ° Slowly, I go to my wardrobe to take out the cloths. It’s very simple: A black jacket, a white shirt and some jeans. As I look in the mirror, I am shocked! What happened to my hair? I try to do them and at least, it looks like I was going to visit a friend. Sighing I leave my room. Suddenly I got a SMS:
Hey Luhan! What’s up? Question: what are you going to give this girl? I have no idea!

It was from Baek hyun. ° Baek hyun is going to be there too? Ok… at least I know someone… I have no present either… °
How about a song. It’s the easiest way to please a girl. Which one?
My dear Friend answered quickly:
We’ll decide that when we know who the girl is ok? Should I pick u up?
I respond:
Ok… Well if you’ve got no problem with it, it would be nice if you pick me up.
The answer came right after I wrote my part:

So now, I sit in my room and wait for my friend. ° Which song should we sing? ° I look at the playlist and Open Arms from Journey is caching my eye. ° If it’s ____’s birthday, we might sing this song…° I’m shaking my head. I need to forget her. At least for today. The doorbell’s ringing and my mom is calling me. “Yes Mom, I’m coming.” As soon as I am near the door, my friend jumps and hugs me. “Wow, bro! Stop it! “But we are already falling to the ground. “ Hyung! I missed you so much!” Byun Baek hyun is out of his mind. °We saw each other just yesterday…° I look at him, trying to understand what he’s talking about. “What? … Boy, what’s wrong with you? Did anything happened?” I ask. “I’ll tell you later! *grin* let’s go!!! It’s party time!” He takes my hand and drags me out of the house.
Your POV
My friend and me were having a great time together but it is already 6 pm. °Why am I so uneasy? It seems like they planned something…°”Hey! What are you waiting for?” We are at my house and my friend looks at me with a question mark on her face. “Oh! Sorry! When should I be ready again?” I didn’t listen to what she said these past minutes… “I’m going to pick you up in an hour!” I went out of the car. “AND wear the dress! If not I’ll kill you!” °She looks like; she really is going to kill me! ° “Yes, sir, eh, madam!” She is laughing at me and watching me while I’m going back to my house. Sascha is my best friend and we always having a lot of fun but this time she seemed to be quite serious.
As I arrived in my room, I looked at the watch. °An hour isn’t much… I need to hurry! ° Sitting in front of the mirror I realize that no one called me today… I shake my head and trying to focus on my hair and my makeup. After 45 minutes I’m done: My long blond hair is laying in curls on my right shoulder and my makeup has a decent blue, fitting to the dress. °I need to hurry! ° Quickly I put my dress, shoes and the jewelry on. The doorbell rang but I still risked a glimpse in the big mirror. °Is that really me? I never thought that I could look so… Beautiful! ° I hurried down stairs. Sascha wears a beautiful green cocktail dress and now you can even see her eyes! She always puts too much make up around her eyes but today it’s bearable. “Wow! Sascha! You look beautiful!” I can’t even imagine that she is wearing such a dress tonight. “You too! *gasp* Girl! You look like a princess! *chuckle* would you follow me Mama (my Highness)?” I laugh hard and follow her outside. In front of our house is a long white limo! Shocked I look at my friend. “You are kidding! You… really hired… You are crazy!” However, she just smiles at me and drags me to the car. Inside of the car, my dear friends are sitting and singing Happy Birthday for me. “Guys!” I’m crying out of happiness. “You are really crazy! Why? “, I want to know. My dear friends are laughing at me. I sat in the limo and we were driving around the City.
One hour later the limousine stopped at a huge hall. “What are we doing here?” I asked. However, they just smiled, took my hand and dragged me out of the car into the hall. As soon as I stepped in many people started to sing: “Happy Birthday to you~ Happy Birthday to you~ Happy Birthday dear ____, Happy Birthday to you~!” I wiped my tears and smiled. “감사합니다! Gamsa Hapnida! Thank you! Who…?” My sight moved to my friends who were grinning proudly. “You?! Whe… oh I understand! While you weren’t talking to me!” Every single of them went towards me and hugged me tight. Sasha was the only one saying something: “I’ve got another present for you. I’m sorry to say but you’ll need to wait a bit.” I looked at her and already wanted to ask what it could be but the guests interrupted. Everyone congratulated me, gave me a present and danced. I enjoyed it!
Luhans POV
We were too late. As we got to the location, the party lasted already an hour. “Why did you drove that way?” I was curios. “Oh, you know… Last but not least!” Beak hyun went into the room without answering. Shaking my head, I followed him. Inside I lost my friend but as soon as I saw something to drink, I went there to get a bottle of water. I looked around the hall and saw… a stage! °Who’s going be on it? ° And just a second later, a girl stood on it. “Lady’s and Gentlemen! Now some words of our girl of the day *Drum-roll* ____!” Another girl… no a Woman got on the stage. My jaw dropped, while the bottle was on my lips.
I didn’t believe my eyes! I’ve been looking at this girl for so many years! We’ve been at the same university but I never talked to her. I just looked at her and fell in love after a while. Right now, she looked so beautiful and cached my eye. I didn’t even realized that Beak hyun stood by my side. “Thank you, everyone! I am so glad that you’re here! I hope you’ve got a good time!” The guests were crying “YES!” ___ smiled so pretty. “I want so sing something. Would you mind to listen for a while?” “Ne~!” It seemed like the others knew what’s going to be next. Someone gave her a guitar and a micro. As soon as she sat down, Baek huyn gave me a micro too. “You’re going to need it!” In addition, he disappeared. °What am I supposed to do? ° ___ played the first accords. However, the song was too short! The tree minutes were already over but I tried to make it longer: “Heaven can be anytime, anywhere~~~~~.” It didn’t helped much. ____stood up from her chair, lowered her head and looked around the hall to see me right in front of her. She was shocked. This girl turned around and disappeared in the crowd. I tried to find her but I couldn’t, the hall was too full. °What should I do? Where to find her? ° My gaze went to the door and I got an idea! Outside was no one as I walked out of the building. I looked around the corner and saw her. Her eyes went up to the sky, where the moon was shining. She looked so beautiful in this light. It seemed to be a dream! “__-…” I started but…

°Why is he here? ° While we were singing, I tried to forget that I was singing a song with the boy I love. °This harmony was awesome! ° I looked up to the moon, took a deep breath and started so sing:

I didn’t expected someone to be here, so I was startled when a boy’s voice started to sing:

I turned around and saw… “Luhan! What are you doing here?!” “I could ask the same question! But I’ll ask: Why did you ran away?” His voice was so soft and sounded hurt. “I needed to clean my head. It was too much at this moment. Can you understand that?” “Yeah, kinda…” “Really? I didn’t even understood myself!” Now he was laughing. It’s time for your last dance!” “Last dance? What do you mean with that?” °What did Luhan wanted to say? Last dance? WHAT? ° I was confused. My dear friend explained it for me: “You’ve got five minutes, because then your birthday ends!” “AH!!! Why didn’t you said that in the first place?” I turned to Luhan. “미안해요! Mianhejo! Sorry! We’ll talk later, ne~?” I didn’t hear his answer because Sasha was dragging me inside.
The guest were already standing in a circle, the middle was empty and my friends were pulling me inside the circle. A slow song started to play. “Here comes the last dance of the day! And the boy who got the pleasure to dance with the princess of the day is… *drumroll* LUHAN!” I lost the control over my face. °Luhan? Why? ° It seemed like Luhan was as speechless as I was. As he stood in front of me, we both started to blush. “Em… would you give me this dance?” His face was red. “Yes, of course!” I took his hand and we danced a waltz. He whispered: “You know what I always wanted to say?” “No… what?” He was red as a tomato. It was so cute! “I wanted to tell you that… no one is going to interrupt us, or?” I laughed. “No, this time not. Tell me! I’m curios!” Instead of talking, he kissed me. The guest were applauding and whistling. It seemed like they’ve been waiting for it the whole day. Luhan broke the kiss, said “Salanghae!” and smiled shyly. I was paralyzed for a moment, went red and lost my balance and fall to the floor. Luhan kneeled next to me with a pale face. “Are you alright?” “HOW COULD I BE ALRIGHT?” I cried out. “The boy I loved for so many years kissed me just now! How could I be alright?!” He was shocked. “You loved me too?” “Yes, you fool!” My friends and Baek hyun were coming to us. “It took us a long time to get you together, hein?” Everyone started to laugh. “You knew?” Luhan and I said unison. They nodded and grinned. Byun Baek hyun took a step forward. “Hey Hyung! I hope you’ll never let go of your girl!” Luhan smiled proudly, placed his arm around my waist and kissed me with so much passion, that I lost myself in this kiss, "I never will!". This time I broke the kiss. “Salanghea! I love you too!”
