JERK /dʒəːk/

MEANING

“Classes will resume at 11:30 am. We are truly sorry for the sudden incident”

It was a typical day in St. Catherine Academy, well maybe the fact that a small fire suddenly started at the lab because of an experiment the students made, oh and also because of the smoke the students caused, the fire alarm and so did the sprinkler, causing all the students to be soaking wet. And just with a small smoke the whole campus reacted and blamed everything to a specific person

“What the hell happened here?” said a familiar girl who stood up in front of the wet laboratory

She went inside the lab, soaking wet on what just happened

“President Jei!” said the three students who started the small fire as they bowed in front of Jei

Yup, it’s Jei Ann Park, the one and only laughing stock of St. Catherine Academy, and apparently the science club president.

 Jei stared at the lab and analyzed the situation, “So it was you guys who started this ruckus”

“W-were so sorry p-president” said the one in the middle as he was stuttering

“I can’t believe nerds could start such a thing”

Jei turned around to see who the person was, and as she turned she saw Woo Jiho, Zico for short. The schools president

“I was in the middle of my training when the fire alarm suddenly and because of that my clothes are now wet, do you know how much it is to dry clean my uniform?”

“No one cares Woo Jiho!” screamed Jei, pissed off on what just happened and to add it all up this spoiled brat Zico arrived

“Whatever…I just want to remind the four of you to pay for all the damages you caused, is that clear?” said Zico as he looked at them with a serious face

Jei clenched her fist but refrained herself from doing anything. Come on, who wouldn’t get angry when someone would pay for something she didn’t even do? Well maybe this was the cause of being a president, handling a group of stupid students who would mix different chemicals they can’t even pronounce

“Didn’t I tell the three of you, if you don’t know anything about science get the hell out of my club!!??”

“We’re sorry president Park!”

“Wow, look who’s acting all tuff now, showing off Ms. Jei Ann Park?”

Jei was already at her limits, the first week of school and this happened?

“Look Woo Jiho, I’m not going to repeat myself, if you want to play your childish games go ahead because I am not going to join in”

“Before you say anything else Ms. Park, at least change your baby bra’s to an adults one”

Jei was confused. She slowly looked at her chest and saw that the bra could now be seen because her uniform was wet, making it see-through

“Who’s childish now?” Zico smirked and left the room only making Jei 3 times angrier than what she was earlier

“JERK!”

And this is Jei and Zico’s daily routine; they fight here and there, and in the end Jei would always lose, it was unfair. To tell you the truth Jei was just a normal student, a normal 1^st honored student. But then she encountered Zico, there, everything started. Zico kept on teasing her that every student started teasing her too! 2 years of torture she finally made up her mind, it was the last year of her high school life for peat sake! She can’t just graduate without a single happy memory. That’s why starting today, Jei’s going to ruin Woo Jiho’s life no matter what it takes

“Ok class, now that everything is back to normal let’s now start our discussi…” Before the teacher could even finish Jei suddenly entered the room, panting

“S-sorry I’m late ma’am…I w-was cleaning the…”

“No more excuses, just sit down Ms. Park”

“Yes ma’am” Jei bowed down in front of her teacher and went to her chair. Her chair that was now filled with notes saying she should just die and stuff. The only thing Jei could do was throw all those notes and just sit down peacefully

Jei sat down, she was lucky that her right side was beside a window; it made her feel relaxed every time she would sit down and stare at the view outside, but then again…at her left was…

“You done cleaning the lab Ms. Lee?” said Zico as he fixed his head phones

Jei only ignored her seatmate and just took her notebook and started taking notes

“Ya, I’m talking to you…”

“…”

“If you don’t ing answer me Ms. Park I’ll…”

“Can you ignore me for one’s Woo Jiho?”

“How could someone ignore a person as ugly as you?”

“What did you say?!”

Zico was now completely ignoring Jei

“I’m talking to you you jerk!” Jei faced Zico and pulled his shirt, as Jei pulled Zico’s shirt, 3 buttons were pulled out

“Oh…I’m…I’m…”

Zico took his ear phones off and screamed, “Jei Ann Park!!!”

And in a few minutes later Jei Ann Park was now in the clinic sewing Woo Jiho’s ruined polo shirt

Jei was sitting on a chair as Zico was sitting on the bed. As Jei was sewing Zico’s shirt, deep inside she just wanted to prick Zico with her needle but couldn’t, she knew it would only cause more trouble and Jei could not afford to have another problem

“…”

The two were quiet. Zico only stared at Jei making her feel uneasy

Jei looked at Zico and they stared at each other for about 3 seconds but Zico quickly avoided Jei’s gaze and said, “You better hurry it up…I still…have classes to attend to”

“I’m trying my best ok”

“Good…”

“It was your fault anyways” Jei whispered but Zico noticed it

“What did you say?”

“Nothing…”

“Tsk…” Zico was also pissed off with Jei, not only was he classmates with her, he was also sitting beside her, causing him to see her ugly face everyday

“There, I’m done…”  Jei buttoned Zico’s shirt and slowly looked at Zico

As she looked at him, Zico suddenly moved closer and kissed Jei Ann without any warning, with the sudden action Jei couldn’t even react nor move

After 5 seconds, Zico parted from the kiss. He wiped his lips and said, “Now we’re even”

Zico stood up and said his last words to Jei before he could completely leave the room

With a smirk on his face he stated, “Get ready Park, I’m going to make your school year even scarier than any nightmare you have ever had” and finally left the room

As Zico left, Jei whispered to herself, “Jerk…that was my first kiss”

Jei was confuse and angry. She didn’t know what his exact plan was but she felt like it was another trick to piss her off

“Yeah…this was only a trick” said Jei as she stood up from her chair, but then she remembered Zico’s lips as it was just on her lips a few seconds ago

Jei could feel her lips become hotter but felt disgusted at the same time imagining that it was Zico who took his first kiss

“No…this can’t be”

She knew that this feeling wasn’t love because she never even liked Zico. She can’t just suddenly fall in love with just a kiss. Even if it wasn’t Zico, Jei could never be that low

“Omma…please help me”

Hey guys! It’s me again with a new story!

I was planning to make it a one shot but I realized that it became too long so I’ll make it a short story instead  not like School Days that has 70 chapters but still ongoing, this story will only have 4-8 chapters, so it will be short

And it kinnda feels weird writing a romance story again because School days is about frats and stuff, and my last romantic story was posted in wattpad, which is about a year ago, so yeah…
