Dear Jessica
Dear Jessica,
I just woke up sweating because I had a really really bad dream after I visited you in the hospital.
You made me cry again, Jess. A bandage was wrapped on your head and I can still see the bruises from the accident. You were really skinny and pale too.
And you know what? That was one of the last things I wanted to see. Whenever I see you getting skinny, I always shove food into your mouth and force you to eat.
Oh and I brought lilacs too. Your favorites. I told you everything about what happened in school and I kept telling myself that you could hear me.
Of course you can. You just can't respond back. That's okay. But I still want to hear your voice.
Your sweet, soothing, silky-like voice... I miss hearing that.
And that is why I have your recorded song on. That One Person, You. Oh, how sweet your voice is. It's the very first song you wrote and you completed it.
I remember when you first made it to make fun of something. It was a long time ago. But you finally completed it.
And everyday, I listen to it, on repeat.
Do you know how many people at school who were talking about you? The guys who like you, your friends, the teachers. Except me. My throat goes dry whenever they ask me about you.
Because you know what?
It is all my ing fault.
