The little girl opened her eyes really wide, her jaw was slowly lowered as she stared outside the window looking amazed. She blinked her eyes for a few times and gasped. It was her first time seeing snow and she was immediately entranced by the sight of snow flakes gracefully falling down from the sky.

The girl who had been standing on the sofa looking outside the window suddenly turned and jumped to the ground, landing with a soft 'thud'. She smiled, showing her two front upper teeth and ran to the kitchen to find her mother.

'Umma!!!' The young girl voiced out, 'theres some white white fluffy looking things outside! Its so pwetty!'

'White white, fluffy looking... 'pwetty'?! What are you saying my dear?' The lady wearing a pink checkered apron with shoulder-length hair smiled as she turned and carried the small girl up. The small girl smiled even wider as she exclaimed.

'I wanna go outside, umma!'

'Alright then my baby, just let me finish washing the dishes and I will bring you out to play.' The young girl clapped her hands excitedly as she was lowered to ground. The lady then stood up straight and continued to wash the dishes, smiling whenever she heard her daughter's footsteps hurriedly running around the house.

This was soon a common scene throughout winter. The young girl would run to her mother, ask her mother to bring her out to the space right before their doorstep to play with the snow. After throwing snowballs at each other and building a small snowman for roughly an hour, the young girl's father would return and the family of 3 would then enjoy a warm dinner together in their dining room.

It was perfect, being so closely knitted as a family. Not only during winter but also in the 3 other seasons, yet the young girl would choose winter as her favourite time of the year, since she love watching snowflakes fall to the ground and building snowmen.

However, at the tender age of twelve, specifically during the cold winter, everything changed and Sulyoung's world fell apart infront of her eyes.

'.......What the hell is happening.'

'Sulyoung, please dont be too shocked, i mean.... Argh, how do i explain this...'

'Did you just freaking mean what you just said.'

'...Yes.'

'Oh. My. God.'

'Sulyoung, im... no, we hope that you and Narae do believe what we have just said.... We really had never planned to lie to both of you and... Really, we are sorry but, what i have just explained, is all factual.'

Sulyoung turned and looked at Narae. Narae looked like her brain flew out of her skull and had lost the ability to process any more information. Sulyoung then turned back to face Kris.

Oh.... What the heck did i land myself into.
