Shin Sunghee is a clever, nice and passionate girl. She leaves alone due to family problems. Nobody knows much about her relatives, except the fact she was born in Cuba from a Cuban father and a Korean mother, both of them being famous dancers, in the past. She eventually decided to escape the living hell that was her home and settled by herself in a cosy apartment. Her neighbour, Jin, is her best friend since high school, where they first met. The two of them are close and share the same passion.

Dance is Sunghee’s first love. It gave her strength and never betrayed her. Because when dancing, there is no room for lies. There is no place to hide. With Jin, she is part of a dance group called Beat a Taste, known in the world of dance competition for their perfectly executed choreographies and their original, innovative concepts.

During the year-end show of her school, a strange boy approaches her. She doesn’t pay any attention to him. Because he is obviously part of the type of person she can’t stand: the arrogant people.

As Sunghee and Jin got accepted at Seoul Performing Art School, she will discover that this mysterious boy got accepted as well.

How will she react towards this boy and his two-faced personality?

What will happen when her haunting past finally catch up to her and storm into her life?

Will she be able to deal with it? Will she escape, once again ?

[22.08.14] IMPORTANT : Since this was my first story, my writing style was awfully immature and messy. That's why I didn't update it anymore. I will edit every chapter and make it a 'readable' story ^^ I already changed the title from  "Once in a life beat" to "Tarantism". I will let the few unedited chapters up so you can read it but I will inform you when they are edited :)
