[Minhee’s POV]

“Minhee ah! Promise me! Promise me that you won’t forget me!” the boy called after me. Tears were flowing down on his face.

I turned and hugged him, bursting in tears.

“I promise. I won’t forget you.” And then I pulled away and went in my parents’ car.

As the car started to move, the boy started chasing after the car. He’s shouting something, but I can’t hear it. All I saw was him, crying and chasing after me.

“Minhee ah! Wake up!” my umma shook me.

I woke up from my dream. I kept dreaming about that.

“You need to wake up now. It’s your first day back here in Korea. PPali! Your friends will be waiting” umma said

“Arrasseo umma.” I said.

I went to the toilet and looked at myself on the mirror.

The boy.

I broke my promise.

I forgot him.
