The Olympians: Rise of the Half-Bloods
Description
When the planets align on the Nineteenth year,
When all seems at peace with the world,
Corrupted gods will turn the world to darkness and fear,
But, no one will dare make a sound.
When all hope seems lost, a child of the gods will step forth to bring triumph and light.
But, the one they called "friend" and trusted, will disappear from everyone's sight.
Foreword
“So, welcome to Camp Half-Blood!” Chiron clapped his hands together.
“Camp Half-Blood...why did that name sound so familiar” Jongdae thought.
“Wait a minute. Are you talking about Camp Half-Blood...from the Percy Jackson book? Jongdae asked Chiron.
Chiron looked surprised. “Well, yes. But, I didn’t think that anyone from Korea would know about that book.”
“But...isn’t that book just fictional? Gods and mythological creatures don’t exist. That’s why they’re called myths.”
“Well, every story had to be inspired by something. That book was written by one of the campers here. Ricky came here when he was about 16.” Chiron responded.
“Woah woah woah wait a minute,” Jongin said. “Gods? Myths? What the hell are you all talking about?”
“My friends, I must tell you that those ‘myths’ are in fact not myths. Those stories that you have heard about centaurs and Gods and sirens, all of them are true. In fact, I although I appear human at the moment, I am actually,” Chiron snapped his fingers and began to transformed right in front of their eyes. “a centaur. Half man, half horse.
“The truth is, you all are not just normal human beings. You are all special. You are all sons and daughters of the Gods. Demigods, to be precise,” Chiron explained to the group.
“This is not a dream, my friends. This is your new home.”
