Caring For Calvin
Aaron, My DidiSlightly based off this article ^^
The flight from Australia wasn't as bad as he thought it would be, but Calvin was so glad to be home. He didn't even make it up the stairs. He simply threw his luggages into the middle of the living room, before plopping himself onto the couch. He was hungry, but food could wait.
Calvin's phone rang, a text message coming in as if perfectly timed.
Hope you got back safely! I'll have to come visit soon. ^^
Calvin helplessly smiled at Wu Chun's messge before another message came in.
You're back! (the whole world knows. You're all over the news). I heard you were victim to one of Australia's hottest summers. Are you burnt?
Good to know that Jiro was thinking about him as well. All that was left was Aaron, who was probably working right now. Calvin sighed. No surprise there.
Calvin felt himself sinking further and further into the couch as he decided to turn on his TV.
The music video for Liu Xia Lai was playing on Calvin's television. Of course this music channel would have a "Throwback Thursday" the day he came back. Calvin grimaced. Throwback Thursday and they play Liu Xia Lai? The singer just decided to relax and watch their music video.. He was watching the video longingly, a sudden nostalgic feeling rising in his chest. He was so into what he was watching that he didn't even hear the door to his home open.
"If you missed us so bad, you should have taken us with you," a familiar voice said, causing Calvin to jump. He quickly turned off the video and turned to face his new visitor, giving the younger one a shocked look.
"No one knocks anymore?" Calvin asked, pretending to be annoyed, though he had to admit that he suffered through a mini heart attack just then.
Aaron smiled. "I didn't need to," he replied. "You left the door slightly opened. I thought that was your way of inviting me in."
"I left it open?" Calvin asked in shock. He glanced towards the direction of the door. It was closed now, of course.
"Relax," Aaron said. "You probably thought you closed it," he said as he helped himself by taking a seat on the couch next to the older one.
Calvin shrugged. "I was kinda rushing in here," he reasoned. "I didn't notice." He rose from his seat, heading towards his kitchen. "Can I get you anything?"
"Water?" Aaron answered.
Calvin reached into the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water before returning to Aaron. "You have no idea how good it feels to be back," he said as he handed Aaron his water.
"By the way you're looking right now, I have a pretty good idea," Aaron responded before taking a sip of the water. "You had a long flight and no schedules until next week. You should be sleeping," he suggested, noticing that Calvin looked much more tired than he put himself out to be.
"I couldn't sleep right now even if I tried," Calvin admitted with a sigh. He shrugged. "Besides. Sitting around and doing nothing is good enough rest for me." Calvin inhaled deeply, looking over to Aaron before speaking again. "What made you stop by?"
"I told you," Aaron replied. "You missed us. Wasn't I supposed to come by?" he asked, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Calvin chuckled.
"I see that you found out that we were subject to Throwback Thursday," Aaron said. "Do they really think we're that old?"
Calvin shrugged. "Chun was born in '79," he reasoned.
"You make it sound like you're so much younger than him," Aaron replied.
"Hey," Calvin said in defense. "A year can make a huge difference."
"Yeah when you refuse to grow up," Aaron replied. He sighed. "If Throwback Thursday is going to play one of our videos every week, I think it's worth it. At least that'll keep the Fahrenheit name alive."
Calvin used his elbow to nudge the younger one's arm. "Fahrenheit's name will never die, no matter how much time passes," he said optimistically. "We have loyal fans who will always remember us." Calvin shrugged, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "Even if all four of us aren't together on stage, we know that we're supporting each other, at least. A contract wasn't what made us bond, you know."
"We should have a concert one day," Aaron said in a low voice, a small smile on his face. "All four of us."
"That's gonna happen," Calvin quickly replied. "I pray for it everyday."
"I think we're lucky," Aaron said. "The four of us may not
