Caring For Calvin

Slightly based off this article ^^

The flight from Australia wasn't as bad as he thought it would be, but Calvin was so glad to be home. He didn't even make it up the stairs. He simply threw his luggages into the middle of the living room, before plopping himself onto the couch. He was hungry, but food could wait.

Calvin's phone rang, a text message coming in as if perfectly timed.

Hope you got back safely! I'll have to come visit soon. ^^

Calvin helplessly smiled at Wu Chun's messge before another message came in.

You're back! (the whole world knows. You're all over the news). I heard you were victim to one of Australia's hottest summers. Are you burnt?

Good to know that Jiro was thinking about him as well. All that was left was Aaron, who was probably working right now. Calvin sighed. No surprise there.

Calvin felt himself sinking further and further into the couch as he decided to turn on his TV.

The music video for Liu Xia Lai was playing on Calvin's television. Of course this music channel would have a "Throwback Thursday" the day he came back. Calvin grimaced. Throwback Thursday and they play Liu Xia Lai? The singer just decided to relax and watch their music video.. He was watching the video longingly, a sudden nostalgic feeling rising in his chest. He was so into what he was watching that he didn't even hear the door to his home open.

"If you missed us so bad, you should have taken us with you," a familiar voice said, causing Calvin to jump. He quickly turned off the video and turned to face his new visitor, giving the younger one a shocked look.

"No one knocks anymore?" Calvin asked, pretending to be annoyed, though he had to admit that he suffered through a mini heart attack just then.

Aaron smiled. "I didn't need to," he replied. "You left the door slightly opened. I thought that was your way of inviting me in."

"I left it open?" Calvin asked in shock. He glanced towards the direction of the door. It was closed now, of course.

"Relax," Aaron said. "You probably thought you closed it," he said as he helped himself by taking a seat on the couch next to the older one.

Calvin shrugged. "I was kinda rushing in here," he reasoned. "I didn't notice." He rose from his seat, heading towards his kitchen. "Can I get you anything?"

"Water?" Aaron answered.

Calvin reached into the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water before returning to Aaron. "You have no idea how good it feels to be back," he said as he handed Aaron his water.

"By the way you're looking right now, I have a pretty good idea," Aaron responded before taking a sip of the water. "You had a long flight and no schedules until next week. You should be sleeping," he suggested, noticing that Calvin looked much more tired than he put himself out to be.

"I couldn't sleep right now even if I tried," Calvin admitted with a sigh. He shrugged. "Besides. Sitting around and doing nothing is good enough rest for me." Calvin inhaled deeply, looking over to Aaron before speaking again. "What made you stop by?"

"I told you," Aaron replied. "You missed us. Wasn't I supposed to come by?" he asked, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

Calvin chuckled.

"I see that you found out that we were subject to Throwback Thursday," Aaron said. "Do they really think we're that old?"

Calvin shrugged. "Chun was born in '79," he reasoned.

"You make it sound like you're so much younger than him," Aaron replied.

"Hey," Calvin said in defense. "A year can make a huge difference."

"Yeah when you refuse to grow up," Aaron replied. He sighed. "If Throwback Thursday is going to play one of our videos every week, I think it's worth it. At least that'll keep the Fahrenheit name alive."

Calvin used his elbow to nudge the younger one's arm. "Fahrenheit's name will never die, no matter how much time passes," he said optimistically. "We have loyal fans who will always remember us." Calvin shrugged, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "Even if all four of us aren't together on stage, we know that we're supporting each other, at least. A contract wasn't what made us bond, you know."

"We should have a concert one day," Aaron said in a low voice, a small smile on his face. "All four of us."

"That's gonna happen," Calvin quickly replied. "I pray for it everyday."

"I think we're lucky," Aaron said. "The four of us may not

Chapter 2: I loved it. one of the best flh fanfics ever read. I slightly miss the other 2 members, but focusing in on Calvin and Aaron allowed them to be more developed. I really like the way you developed the characters, and you know your stuff. you don't sound like a new fan to Fahrenheit at all! and welcome to the fandom. It's great to have new Feifans even so many years later. (although I can't really talk. I'm rather new to Fahrenheit too xD since 2010~)

Chapter 2: (Yes, I'm reading through this again. XD)

You, uh, misspelled "replied" - the sentence after Aaron comes in (and gives poor Calvin a heart attack. XD)

Chapter 2: Anyways, let's start from the beginning:

Dang it, Calvin!!! You seriously need to get some rest! I swear, in some of his Instagram pics, it's really obvious that he hasn't gotten much/enough sleep. >.<

Uhh, is Chun secretly in Taiwan, then? XD Lol. Sorry, detail-oriented, remember? ^^; Another one of my friends caught that too. But that's okay, b/c everyone loves some CC! :P Lol at Jiro's comment...

Aww, Liu Xia Lai! T.T That song gives me a lot of mixed feelings. I like it, but at the same time...I don't. >< It's complicated.

Ahh, Aaron! You ninja, you. >.> You almost gave our Sunshine Boy a heart attack.

And I think that bit about their bond and a future concert hit every FeiFan right in the feels. T.T (In a bittersweet way, you know?) (We're waiting for it. One year ago, Calvin and Chun promised that we'd see all four of them together again. I'm holding them to that.)

The bickering and the kitchen scene...oh my seasons, I couldn't stop laughing. XD So much like Ah Yi, too. XD (Aaron's character in Love Buffet).

Okay, their whole conversation just made me wanna hug them both. ;~; Aww, Aaron... <3 And yeah, Calvin would rather try and make people laugh than to ever burden others with his own problems.

All in all, you did a wonderful job with this. You really did. I hope I can return the favor soon. ;)

I hope that when you return to Twitter (/if/ you can return to Twitter), that I can introduce you to a few of my FeiFan friends. They're all super nice, and if there's anything you need to know, they'd definitely know it. (More so than me right now, anyway).

Thank you so, so, much for writing this! :D

As a small token of appreciation, here: http://ww3.sinaimg.cn/bmiddle/7f2cba97jw1e9a8t5nxl7j218g0xcdrf.jpg

Chun is holding a fansign for his book today, and Calvin just happens to be hosting! :D (Needless to say, all the CC fans on Weibo are...pretty high, lol). XD

Thanks again!! *hugs*

Chapter 2: IT IS PAST MIDNIGHT HERE AND I HAD TO MUFFLE MY SQUEALS/LAUGHTER AS I READ THIS!!!!

*glomps you ferociously*

How dare you say this isn't good?!?! OMG. You need to watch Love Buffet soon, because Aaron kinda reminded me of his character in there...esp. at the cooking part. Excuse me while I laugh at the ramen part and the "I could let you starve" part. XD

Two minor errors:

After Aaron is done and is offering Calvin the food: " '...Looks goods.' "

"Besides, we still kept in contact well I was gone." ("while")

Anyways... (I'm going on to a new box, because I might actually exceed the character limit if I keep typing my comment here. ^^;; )

As a fan of Fahrenheit from 2007 to 2010 or so, I'm glad that you've taken your time to write this. It still breaks my heart till this day to know that almost all the members had left, with Aaron being my favorite. After Wu Chun, Jiro followed and they all went into acting. I'm surprised that people are still listening to them ^^

(I just linked this to another friend of mine. She pointed out that she couldn't tell when this takes place. And in my flood of commentary, I forgot to ask... So, was there a specific time frame set in mind, or...?)

Chapter 1: //cries

OH MY FLIPPING SEASONS!!!!

Before I start on how awesome this is, I just thought I'd throw this out there, for anyone who doesn't know:

Jiro has officially left HIM AND Comic International. He signed on with a Mainland China company on the 17th.

(I'm just going to say that I have A LOT of mixed feelings on him right now... >.>)

But yes. Anyways...

GURL. Seriously?! Ohmygosh. This seriously almost made me cry. ;~; Ugh. MyRuLun heart.... <333333

You were actually pretty spot-on. Aaron (supposedly) did faint on set once while filming for "Love Buffet," so I can only imagine how anxious/terrified Calvin must've felt.

Calvin doesn't open up a lot, so that little bit there was SUPER touching, omg. >< (Idk if you've seen his latest photos, but he looks like he's not gotten a lot of sleep lately, which is worrying the heck out of all of us... >.>)

And thank you. Because after finding out about Jiro's situation, I needed something like this. You've made me a bit more motivated to write my own RuLun. :) (And admittedly, I've been wanting to do something with the fact that they both suffer from Meniere's for a while now... Just don't know what. Not saying that mine will revolve around this, but this first part just reminded me of that fact. :) )

(And Chun is releasing a book. ^^ October 2, I think. Can find more info at his thread on AF, I'm sure.)

No really. This was great. :D I can't wait to read the second part, which will be dealing with Calvin, right? ;)

Gah! Thank you for writing this!! *hugs*
