"I already told you, you're just wasting your time dating him" Minah your best friend dramatically rolled her eyes as she sat beside you, you are now on your coffee break. 
You accidentally spilled to her what happen on your supposed to be date last week, 

You prepared everything but ruined when he got a call from Jenny, Sunmi is sick, Immediately Leo left your apartment in speed. 
It's not the first time this happen, it happen many times before. 

You understand that Sunmi is Doojoon's daughter he need to be at her side, She is his daughter with his ex-girlfriend they been together for five years, Doojoon got Jenny pregnant but everything turns wrong, they always fought on the smallest things until they decided to end their relation and stay as sunmi's parents. 

You know it all before you accept him as your boyfriend, honestly you admire him as a father, even his busy schedule he always found time for Sunmi, but it seems he always forever about you. 
You know you shouldn't but you can't help but to feel jealous on how he focus his free time for sunmi, just one call from Jenny he will run to them, even you are in the middle of your intimate moment. 

"Whatever you will do or say, you will never be his first priority. Think of it, He is a Idol, he love his work it's his dream right? Then he is a father, Sunmi is the reason why he works hard, Doojoon want to give his daughter a better life that's every parents wants. Then where you are in his list? On the last part, Tell me when the last time he took you out on a date?" she raised her eyebrows you look down to your lap and avoid her glaze 
"See? You didn't even remember. It's a friendly advice, Don't let yourself got hurt from the person who don't have time for you" she said before she stood up and left, leaving you in vain 

You took tour phone from your pocket and send a sms to DooJoon, you don't want to live in doubt and jealousy anymore you need to do something, you need to know if doojoon will choose you, at least once.

After his schedule DooJoon went to Jenny's house to visit Sunmi, Henry was there also, Jenny's fiancé. 

He took Sunmi on park to play, treats her sweets and brought her new clothes, DooJoon want to spoils hi daughter with wonderful things and treat her like a princess. 

"Here's your snacks" Henry announced as he came to Sunmi's room, Doojoon and her are currently playing tea party, DooJoon look at him and nooded, Henry set the tray on night table before he went to sunmi's side, he ruffle her hair amd he let giggles 
"Uncle Henry, come join us" she said, Henry shook his head "I love too but I have something to finished, I still have papers to work for company" he said and kiss his head "Hyung, is it alright if you stay a bit? Jenny still not feeling well and I have to finished my paper works" he asks, DooJoon brightly smiles and nodded "Of course" 

"Thanks" they fist bumped, Henry stood up 
"Sunmi uncle Henry will go now huh?" Sunmi look at him and smiles "Okay" 
Henry chuckles and left leaving the two continue playing 

Soon Sunmi got tired on all they did on whole day, Doojoon decided to take call it for a day, he took sunmi on bathroom and get her watch and change and soon they are on bed, Doojoon reading her a bed time story and soon she fall asleep, Doojoon smiles at her, Sunmi is the best thing happen to him, he feel complete because of her, he feel like he can do anything for her. 

Doojoon hugged her tightly as he lean his head on top of sunmi's head and close his eyes.

You sat on couch at living room with your whole body trembling as your tears keep flowing on your face, your left hand was holding your phone that pressed on your ear, you keep calling DooJoon's phone since you lost counts. 

You prepare a dinner for him, a special dinner. 
When you said that you need to do something, you mean to propose on him, yes. You planned to ask him to marry you. You didn't care on what it looks but you don't want to wait on things that you 
aren't sure if it will come. 

But until now, you can't contact DooJoon. His phone keep ringing but he didn't picked it up, you didn't know if he grow tired on you calling him or his phone ran out of battery because later on you only got his voice mail, you shallow a big lump on your throat before you dialed someone's number 

"Hello?" you heard Junhyung speaks from another side, his voice was shaking maybe he was sleeping 
"H--hello, Junhyung" you bite your lips keeping your voice calmly, he gasps your name as he sit up from bed "Why you called on this time? Its 3:46 am Did something happen? Is everything alright?" he asks 

"Everything is fine, don’t worry. I-- I just want to asks if Doojoon is there? He didn't came home" you close your eyes when you heard his answer, another wave of pain pang on your heart 
"He's not here, He said he will go to Jenny's house after his recording for iris, why he didn't told you?" he asks "Wait, Is everything alright between the two of you?" 

"Y-yeah everything is fine, Sorry to disturbing you, go back to sleep again, Don't worry" you didn't give him a chance to asks again, you hung up the phone and broke in loud sobs 

You know it happens but it's still hurt, It's hurt that you are nothing on person you really love. 


You dialed DooJoon's number again, when you heard his voice mail your tears pour like a rain, taking a deep breath you open your mouth to speak   
"It's over"

"Doojoon, wake up, Doojoon" a whisper on his ear stir him in sleep, Doojoon groan as he open his eyes, sunrays blind his eyes but it's not enough for him not to notice Sunmi on his side, he smiles but immediately frown then his head snap to Jenny 
"Why are you still here?" Jenny asks looking at clock hanging on the wall 
"It's already 8 o'clock, did your girlfriend knows that you stay here all night?" she asks again 

"!" he cursed and jump from sunmi's bed, the little girl wake up from suddenly movement
"Appa?" she called 
"Where's my phone?" Doojoon asks as he looks for his device "here, I already change the battery" Jenny handed his phone 
"Thanks. Sunmi-ah see you soon, Appa need to go home" DooJoon kissed her head before he ran outside, He dumped into henry at living room but he didn't stop, Doojoon jump inside his c
