"Alright class, I would like you to complete question 1 to 4 before you go for your break ok? Is that clear?" instructed our teacher, Miss Kim

"Yeh..," answered the class with a very unenergetic tone

Shasha took out her accounting paper and start to attempt on the first question while the others are still taking their own sweet time as they can't be bothered to do all four questions at one go, especially in the morning. Like people said, first lesson of the week is always the killer to start of the rest of the day.

While Shasha is attempting the question, she notice that Anne accidentally fell asleep after doing half of question one.  Miss Kim is about to notice her but Shasha rolled the rolling chair closer towards Anne and purposely place her amrs around Anne, and pretend that as if Anne is struggling to solve a question.

"What is it Anne? You don't understand this question? Let me help you..," Shasha acted

"Ah..bo yah?!! Aiish..," Anne grumbled

"Shh..," Shasha whispered

 

With that, instead of walking towards their direction to ensure that Anne is wide awake, Miss Kim change her direction and went towards the other students. Anne scolded me with her cranky voice and continued with her work.

"Aiish, do you have to Shasha... I am so enjoying my beauty sleep..," Anne said

"I save your life alright? Unless you wanna stay for detention after school.. Just get this done! I don't wanna do it as homework..," Shasha told Anne

It's going to be a long bus ride. Kris and Kai are in a bus with their other few classmates, on the way to Elites College. Some were sleeping, some were listening to music and some were just enjoying the scenery from outside the bus. Kai of course would continue on with his sleep. However, Kris keeps on staring at his phone ever since the bus started moving.

Finally like after having enough sleep, Kai stretched and yawn at the same time and while he is yawning his hands are like sort of blocking Kris view on staring at something in his phone. Kris harshly pushes his hands away. Kai fumed up a bit but was cool after that.

Without Kris realising, Kai peek at the picture on Kris phone and heave a sigh of boredness. Kai just shook his head from side to side, having some pity towards his friend who doesn't even know how to move on.

"Haiz... do you still have feelings for Seunghui? Come on Kris, it's been like what? Years you are waiting for her... Looks like she is not interested in you..," Kai adviced

"If only you were in my shoes.. You would know how I feel. I just can't Kai... Everywhere I go, whatever I do, she is always there in my mind..," Kris confessed

"Haiz... but sadly, you are always not in hers... Why would you even bother loving a girl whom is just so called making used of you? Like don't you feel like you're being used? Just move on in life bro! There are many other fishes in the pond!" Kai reminded him

Kris went on to continue to stare at his crush photo and give a disappointment sigh.

They reached about one and a half hour later. They are students from other schools too. Having an intention to share about what is their  course is about. Each student were to carry some equipment for setting up their booth later. They just followed whatever is being instructed by their teacher. Kris who is like still in dilemma, just keep quiet and try to reflect on what Kai just said to him.

They are preparing up their booth, putting up signs of their course name, decorating it with some props, giving out brouchers to passer by of that school so that they get to know more about Genie School. Kai is being entertaining to attract people, while Kris is just standing there looking so dead.

"Yah, smile will you? We've got to attract people..," Kai told Kris

"Cover me up for a while... I wanna get some drinks from the cafeteria..," Kris said cooly and pass the remaining brouchers to Kai

"I want a drink too!! THANKS KRIS!!" Kai shouted from far

 

Since it's the first time being here, Kris had no idea on where the cafeteria is. And like I said, he is a very shy person so asking people for directions is a no no. While he is experiencing lost, a girl which happened to be Shasha is rushing to the nearest washroom as she can't hold her bladder anymore. She accidentally knock down into Kris causing both of them to fall.

"Ahh!" Shasha yelled in pain

"Errm.. mianhe..," Kris apologised almost helping her up but changed his mind after seeing her getting herself up

"It's ok.. it's ok..," she said and run

"Hold on..Do you..,aiish!!" Kris is about to asked the way to the cafeteria but she is already far away

 

Oh well, looks like Kris had to explore this entire place.

Shasha went on to meet Anne at the cafeteria after doing her business in the washroom. Anne is busy looking at her twitter, cursing Shasha for her lateness as her stomach is grumbling for food to come in. Anne is on the verge of buying her lunch when Shasha finally arrive. Shasha apologised continuously, putting an arm around Anne and create some jokes to make her friend laugh.

They find a perfect spot to seat and enjoy their meal. Out of a sudden, Anne's phone rang. Without wating anytime, she answered the call and from her facial expression, can see that she is utterly shock about something.

"Really? Where are you? I didn't see you!" Anne replied

"Ouh.. I see.. Come over then..I am sitting somewhere near the drink stall..," Anne continued

 

Anne hung up the phone after that and Shasha who is feeling so curious upon Anne's conversation earlier, start to ask lots and lots of question. Anne told Shasha that her childhood friend happened to find her in this cafeteria. A few seconds later, a orange hair guy, with almond shaped eye tap Anne's shoulder and went on to sit beside her.

"Hey!! Gosh, it's been years! Haha!! What are you doing in my school??" Anne asked

"The fiesta thingy?" he answered shyly

"Oh so you're involved in it too. And how could I forget. This is my best friend, Shasha.. Shasha this is my childhood friend, Kris...," Anne introduced

"Ahh..Shasha....," Kris dragged his words and nodded slowly, looking at Shasha, giving her the 'have we met before' expression

"Hehe... Hi...," Shasha said shyly, pretending to be busy with her phone when actually there is nothing on her sreen

 

Kris just smile shyly and focus his eyes on his friends. Kris and Anne are having a very long chat about the story of their life and how glad they are to meet each other again. Shasha on the other hand keeps on stealing glances at Kris. Out of a sudden, Shasha is so mesmerised by Kris appearance by just one look. 

His cool hairstyle, his politeness when he speaks, Kris's shyness is totally irresistable and cute to Shasha. They way he joked around with Anne makes her feel kinda jealous.

"Gosh.. this guy is so my type... Anne you one lucky girl!! If only I had a close friend like him... OMG!!! He is so handsome!! Ahhhh~~~~I'm melting!! I'm melting!!!"  my heart starts to spazz

Once their conversaiton ended, Kris told Anne to take a look at his booth later after having our lunch. As Shasha don't want to show that she is actually blushing, Shasha pretended to look at her phone.

"Ok, I'll get going first.. See you.. Bye!" Kris made his farewell to Anne and give Shasha a very quick look and go off

Anne notice that her friend is staring at Kris all the while.Shasha is daydreaming now, smiling to herself.

"Shasha? SHASHA!!" Anne woke he up

"Huh? Yeah?" Shasha answered

"Are you ok? Why are you staring at Kris like that?" Anne asked, creasing her eyebrows

"Oh my gosh!! Girl, you are so lucky!! He is so good looking!!! I think I had found myself a crush!!!! Hheheheeh!!!" Shasha said enthusiastically

"You like Kris? Like seriously? Hahhahaha... he is good looking to you??" Anne asked in bewilderedment

 

And there goes the two girls, telling each other of what they think about Kris. Anne is a bit surprised by her friend's reaction towards Kris as she didn't expect Shasha to like Kris. It's just too sudden for it to happen. And by picturing Shasha and Kris toegther just turns out to be a bunch of laughter for Anne. However, Anne is also happy for her friend that she actually found herself a crush. She promise Shasha to get them together.

Shasha, keeps on telling Anne to quickly finish up her food as she can't wait to stop by Kris booth just to see his one of a kind good looking features. They were strolling, passing by booth after booth and like at last, the next booth is Kris's booth. Anne acted as her usual friendly self and she suddenly whispered something into Shasha's ear.

 

"You know the guy beside Kris? He used to be my crush after breaking up with my first boyfriend..,hehhe..," Anne told Shasha softly

"Wow... really? Hahah talk to him then...," Shasha suggested

"Arrasoh..," Anne agreed

 

Unfortunately, Anne ended up talking to a different person, leaving Shasha looking so flabbergasted when Anne run towards Kris and pulled him towards her, whispering something into his ears telling him that there is someone interested in him. Shasha feels so freaking embarrassed that she pretend to be busy finding out about what the course is about.

"Really? Who is she?" Kris asked

"The one wearing the grey jacket..,"Anne said pointing towards Shasha

"Ouh...," Kris said and smile, feeling very shy to face Shasha who is busy talking to Kai

"Aww you're blushing....hahaha... you want her number?" Anne teased Kris, making the first move to help Shasha

"Huh? Number? Nah... I mean it's just a crush.. haha... And I am not in the mood of having a relationship now... You know why don't you? Maybe you can explain it to her for me?" Kris told Anne

"Yeah I know what happened. Just move on bro. Just try... maybe this relationship could work?" Anne persuaded

"Nah... I just need some time to reflect and be prepared.. Haiz... Love life, could be hurtful sometimes..Just tell your friend to find other guys arra? Kai or whoever...,"Kris replied looking a but sad thinking about his crush

"You want me to tell her that? Only God knows how she react after hearing that..," Anne said

"I mean, if she wants to know me as a friend, I ma fine with it but if she wants more than that then, I'm sorry but I just can't seem to accept love life right now...," Kris told Anne

"Hahaha.... we'll see how it goes.. Arrasoh, I'll get going first.. See you next time ok? Take care!! Oh and say hi to Kai for me yeah? Thanks... hhehehe...," Anne joked calling Shasha over at the same time

"Aiissh, You're still into that dude too? Haha... arrasoh.. bye!" he wished

 

Anne did a signal to Kris asking him to wish Shasha goodbye so that at least she is happy.

"Bye..," Kris said awkwardly

"Errmm. bye..," Shasha replied awkwardly as well and look at Anne

 

Once they are far away from the booth, Shasha is kinda angry with Anne for telling Kris what she felt for him. Anne on the other hand keeps on laughing seeing Shasha's reaction upon how afraid she is. So to calm Shasha's nerves down. Anne actually told whatever Kris had said to her excluding his crush in case Shasha gets a little bit sensitive to it.

Shasha is a bit hyper that she actually asked Anne to get his number for her. As a friend, she immediately called Kris and ask for his permission. After pressuring moments of waiting, Shasha had a feeling that it's going to be a bad answer as it's weird for a girl to asked number from a guy. Anne ended her conversation with a huge beam on her face. Shasha is jumping up and down.

"So what did he said? What did he said?" Shasha asked being so impatient

"Haiz..," Anne sighed

"Oh... it's a no isn't it??" Shasha said disappointedly

"Hahha, you worry too much!!! He allows you to have his number... But I got to warn you.. He is kind of a lazy texter so if he never reply you or if he replies you late.... just be patient alright? And don't expect too much.." Anne warned

 

Shasha agree to the terms and quickly safe his number in her phone. On the spot, she starts to message Kris. And like what Anne said, Kris didn't reply to her message. Shasha starts to feel worried out of a sudden. Scared that Kris would think that I am those y type of girls who wants a boyfriend so soon. Every second, minute she would check her phone,hoping to receive a text from Kris. Unfrotunately, nothing came.

"Chill girl... Maybe he is busy entertaining people at the booth... Be patient..," Anne reminded her

"Haiz...," Shasha sighed

It's almost 5pm now and students are starting to pack up thier stuffs as the fiesta had already ended. It's time for them to go home.

In the long bus ride, Kai had already went to his lalaland while Kris is listening to some sentimantal song from his I-Pod. Feeling a bit bored, he took out his phone, and saw a text from an unfamiliar number. It was being send two hours ago. He open the message.

"Hey! This is Shasha, Anne's friend. Sorry for the awkwardness earlier.. Hehe ^^"

Kris did a little chuckled and reply her back. They start of with a very short conversation at first and then he stop replying her as Kris felt awkward messaging someone whom he had known only about a few hours ago. So, Kris text Anne instead telling him how awkward her felt.

Anne secretly text Kris back telling him to try and get along with her friend.

"Aiish, what is taking him so long? Is he that shy? It has a limit to it you know?" Shasha grumbled

Anne turn to face her friend who is about to breakdown just because a guy doesn't reply to her text. Anne felt bad seeing her in this kind of situation. Then Anne's phone vibrated and 'BAMP' Kris name appeared on it.

"You were messaging Kris all this while? How could you not tell me?" Shasha raised her voice

"It's not that I don't want to tell you... but he is awkward to chat with a stranger..And he is trying his best to reply you back.. Ok.. ok... I'll show you some of his text ok?" Anne assured Shasha and showed her some

 

After reading most of it, Shasha's eyes become a bit watery. Anne went on to explained about Kris's crush telling her that Kris actually liked a girl before but it seems like the girl is making used of him. That saddens Kris too much that he is afraid of starting a new relationship with someone new and he really can't be bothered to have a new love life.

Anne told Shasha that Kris wants to take a break from tailing girls and he is sick and tired of it. Kris really don't know how to communicate with a girl in a proper way anymore. Whatever his crush did to him is enough to hurt his heart.

Shasha's heart broke into small pieces like a shattered glass piece after hearing what Anne said. But she tries her very best to hide the sad side of her and pretend to smile.

"It's not like I want a fast relationship with him. I just wanna be friends with him..,"Shasha told Anne in a very calm voice

"I'll try to persuade him alright? Maybe we could arranged an outing or something so that you guys could know about each other better.. Don't worry ok? And please for God sake don't cry just because of this. It's not worth it at all!!" Anne adviced Shasha, putting her arms around her shoulders to comfort her

"I'm not crying.. I'm not sad at all!" Shasha denied

"Stop it Shasha, you can't lie to me. See, your eyes are watery... Calm down..you don't even know him that well yet.. Chill alright?" Anne comforted her, hugging Shasha

 

Although Shasha is showing her happy side of her,she actually felt like dying inside.

From that day onwards, Shasha's character change. She became more quiet and looks so stress, having a serious face everyday. Crying herself to sleep sometimes. Anne tried to console her as she feel bad that her childhood friend made her best friend felt this way. However, the good thing is Anne is slowly building up her friendship with Kai through texting. Both knows about Kris and Shasha's situation and decided to help the both of them.

Every single day, hours, minutes, seconds, Shasha is waiting for Kris to text her but sadly, Shasha is the one who have to make the first move in texting. The good thing is, Kris is being friendly through texting and that made Shasha jumped for joy but the bad thing is it doesn't last long. Once they had done texting, it takes a few days, sometimes weeks for them to text each other again.

Shasha is also trying her very best to wait patiently for his text even though it never happened. She follows Anne's advice which is to distract herself so that she wouldn't think too much about it and keeps on telling her not to cry over things that is not worth it. It's easy for people to say but Shasha still wants to make friends with Kris and to her, texting is still not enough.

Feeling worried, Anne and Kai planned an outing for the four of them and their intention is to get them to get along with each other as friends. They didn't tell their plan to both Kris and Shasha as it's a surprise. So, on Saturday morning, Anne called Shasha asking her to join her for breakfast at Mac. Shasha just agree to it.

By 10am in the morning, Shasha meet Anne who is already seated.

 

"Let's order, what are we waiting for?" Shasha said

"Oh... I have a call... hold up..," Anne purposely said and answer Kai's phonecall

"I see.. ok..," Anne said and hung up

"Shasha, can we order later, I am kinda full now.. hehe why don't we chat for a while?" Anne told her

"Errmm. ok?...," Shasha replied, putting her back down to the seat

"So how are you and Kris?" Anne asked

"Hmmmm... it's good.. but not that great yet... ," Shasha answered sadly

"Don't worry about it too much... Like I said, he is not worth it to cry for...You just met him and of course this thing takes time....And he is very shy and can say that he is a good guy... He is polite but serious when it comes to his co-curriculam activities...Maybe he needs more time to feel comfortable with you..." Anne comforted her down

 

Shashe showed her a weak smile.

Kai is like forcing Kris to follow him just to make the plan successful. Kai managed to drag Kris with him after lots of persuassion.

"Come on Kris. Anne and her friend is there too!" Kai persuaded

"Which friend?" Kris asked

"I have no idea... Come on you have to get out of the house... Don't you feel bored staring at four walls? Aiish enough asking just come!!" Kai forced Kris into Mac

 

Kai saw Anne and Shasha having a friendly chat.

"HI ANNE!! HI SHASHA!!!" Kai waved

 

Kris froze the moment he heard the second name. He is awe-struck upon seeing Anne and especially SHASHA?????? He hates this awkward feeling in him. The both of them are like standing near the table now. Shasha just faced downwards feeling awkward and shy. Kris went beside Anne and made a shocking signal. Anne just smile to Kai. Kris look furiously at Kai.

"Both of you planned it don't you?"Kris whispered while Kai just made the 'pretend not to know' face

"Ahh.. my stomach is grumbling.. Anne, let's go buy some food!" Kai said and pulled Anne leaving Kris and Shasha alone

 

Once again, the awkward aura rises between the two of them. Kris just pretend that Shasha didn't exist and try not to face her as he is actually blushing. Both of them are like not facing each other, trying to be busy by focusing on both of their phone. A few minutes later, Kai and Anne are back..

"Alright, you guys could order...," Kai said cheerfully smiling to Shasha

"Errmm...," Shasha stuttered

"You could order first..," Kris told her

"Errmmm....," Shasha stuttered

 

She then blush and went to the counter and order. Being a bit smart, Anne push Kris to the counter beside Shasha. Shasha don't even dare to face him that after ordering her meal, she quickly make her way back but too bad Kris had done ordering and is like standing behind Shasha, waiting for her to sit down. Kris is about to sit beside Anne when Kai hurriedly exchanged seats.

"Sorry, this seat is taken..," Kai said and did a cheeky smile

Kris feels like hitting him but thanks to the tray he is holding, Kai is safe. With no more options, Kris have to sit beside Shasha who is controlling her enthusiasm. They eat in silent and the only one that is talking is Kai and Anne. Kris and Shasha just nodded their head and laugh toegther with them when they have to.

Then Anne made an eye signal to Shasha asking her to start a conversation with him. Shasha shook her head, telling her that she is afraid. Even Kai is asking Kris to do the same thing but it's the same answer given. Honestly Shasha really wanna talk with Kris but she don't know how to start the conversation. Kai keeps asking them questions to not make them feel awkward but still Kris and Shasha is silent to each other.

A huge sigh of tiredness from Anne and Kai. Trying to get them to talk sure is hard. In the end, Kai have to go as he have some appointment with his other friends. Leaving Kris, Anne and Shasha. Shasha is a bit happy for a moment thinking that she could start a conversation but....

"Anne, I think I'll get going first... I have to prepare for some camp thing tomorrow.. see you next time.. bye..," Kris bid his last farewell

Stupidly, Shasha didn't turn to face him. Kris once again give one final look at Shasha secretly and leave.

 

"Annnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeee!!!!! OMG!!!" Shasha cried softly

"Why?" she asked

"I regret for not talking to him!!! Aiissh!!" Shasha lamented

"Me and Kai had given you lots of chances just now! It's your fault for not talking to him..," Anne scolded

"But... it's hard... aiissh!! Haiz..., why must I made the first move??" Shasha cried

"Hahaha... I keep signalling you to talk to him!! See now what happens? But at least you get to sit beside him right? That's good enough! Hehe!" Anne try to make me feel better

"True that... But I so wanna talk to him!! Can you plan another outing??!" Shasha pleaded

"For your happiness, anything!But promised that you'll talk to him?" Anne agreed

"Arrasoh!" Shasha agreed

One week had passed and the four of them planned to watch a movie together and it's also part of Anne's plan to make them talk. As usual, Kai and Anne purposely allow Kris to sit beside Shasha and again that awkward and silent feeling is happening. After the movie ended, they went shopping. Still Kris and Shasha keep their distance apart from each other.

Then Anne had a wonderful plan. She tries to create a scene. She acted as if she had left something in the cinema and asked Kai to accompany her to search for it. She asked Kris and Shasha to wait for them.

The both of them went to the nearest bench and take a sit. Side by side, with a few distance apart.

"So, how's school so far..," Shasha dared herself to start the conversation

 

It went smoothly at first but Kris kinda screwed it up.

"Heard from Anne that you have feelings for me?" Kris asked

"Gosh.. this is so embarrassing.. She tell you that? Hahaha... told her not to tell though.. Aiissh that girl..," Shasha pretend to create a joke

"Not to be rude or anything but  I just wanna tell you the truth.... I kinda had a very hard time.. I bet Anne had told you about my crush? I think you should know how I felt when you're in my shoes.. It's not that I hate to make friends with you but, I'm just afraid that history will repeats itself.. And the honest reason that I didn't text you often is... apart from me being awkward or about me being a lazy texter, I actually try to avoid myself from talking to girls for the time being to calm my mind down... So many things are going through in my mind right now...Hope you would understand?" Kris admitted

"Ouh...[breakingdown].. Is that so? [taking a deep breath to control her tears from flowing] Arrasoh.. I understand you...I mean if I were in your shoes, I would do have done same thing as well.. haha...thanks for being honest. I appreciate it..," Shasha pretended to be fine

 

Then there is a very long paused.

"Errmm... I think I need to rush off... Help me tell Anne and Kai that I have some problems to settle at home. Thanks. er.. Bye!" Shasha bid her last farewell stand up and start to pour, crying uncontrolably while walking away

Kris did a very guilty  smile as she said goodbye as he himself feel bad after what he had done. He knows deep down in his heart that she must be wailing her heart out right now.

"Haiz...Mianhe... but I have too.. Gosh why do I have to break a girl's heart... Haiz..," Kris lamented

 

Anne and Kai are having a leisurely stroll, passing by shop by shop, purposely killing time so that Shasha and Kris could have more time together. While walking, Anne is kinda blushing as well as she couldn't believe that she actually met with her high school crush. But at least she is not as worst as Shasha who couldn't even speak to her crush normally.

"So how's life?" Kai asked

"Hmmm so far so good.. Exam just ended so...yeah... what about yours?" Anne asked

"Me?? Hahaha.... as care free as ever..Lol!! Haiz...now I am like helping Kris with his life... He is still into Seunghui.. Could you believe it? I mean, he is lucky for a girl to have a crush on him...Wasted... Can see that Shasha and him could be a nice match! That lucky bastard..," Kai told Anne

"Are you like jealous or something? Hahaha!!" Anne joked, poking his wasit causing him to laugh

"Don't worry, I feel ya bro... It's hard to find someone to like you first...Haiz..," Anne sighed

"Eh come on...how could a guy not like you? Honestly.....I find you kinda cute and funny too heheh...," Kai blushed a bit and walk faster, smiling to himself like a weirdo

Anne was stun by what Kai just said. It's like she is in a different world for a while, fireworks starts exploding above her head. Anne starts to beam widely, looking as shy as ever. She just look down and feel so bless upon Kai's to compliment her.

Then they stop by a shop which is full of furniture. They sell differet kind of furniture here. Feeling bored, they actually went to sit on those sofas, playing with the drawers like children making nuisance in public. Then they came across the mirror section. There a lots of mirrors of different shapes and sizes. Oh no, here comes the dangerous part.

MIRROR + KAI =

"Oh please Kai.. not now...," Anne pleaded

"It's like you're my mirror, wo-oh,my mirror staring back at me...~~~~~," Kai sang

"Gosh.... my hair looks so f**ked up today!! Aiish, bad hair day!!! Oh my, is that a pimple? NOOOOOOO!!!!! I must get rid of it like as soon as possible!!" Kai complained being vain now

"Kai, are you done yet?" Anne asked with crossed arms

"I can never be done when I'm in front of a mirror!!" Kai told Anne

 

Anne heaved a sigh of frustration and went on to play with her phone. 'Is he a guy or a girl for crying out loud?!!" thought Anne. 25 minutes had pass and Kai is still standing in front of the mirror. Once satisfied, he turn to Anne.

"Arrasoh, I'm done! Heheh sorry!!" he apologised showing Anne his irresistable smile, causing Anne's once burning heart to cool down

"Hahaha.. it's ok... You look great..," Anne complimented

"Then? What are you waiting for??" Kai suddenly asked

"Huh? Waiting for what?" she asked looking so puzzled

"Camera duh? Hahah.. let's take a picture for fun!!" Kai suggested

 

There is no way Anne is going to reject to that suggestion. Her legs felt like jelly while moving towards Kai. When she is already a few centimetres away from Kai, she prepared the camera on her phone and with shaky hands. Kai just giggled as he actually know Anne had a crush on him thanks to Kris.

"Ok, you ready?" Anne said, as the both of them look at their reflections in the mirror

"Eh, wait... This is not right...," Kai said and made a sudden pull to Anne's waist causing her to be closer to him

"That's more like it.. haha!" Kai agreed

 

Anne's face is as red as a strawberry now and her happiness level had gone way over beyond the normal. Her heart is jumping for joy. "KYAH!!!" her heart yelled.

"Arrasoh, come, give me your phone, I'll snap a picture...," Kai said and placed his arms around Anne's shoulder

"Say cheese...!!" Kai exclaimed and both of them show off their gorgeous smiles

"Alright!! Let's take one more with a pose this time ok?!! K.. ready....1,2...3..," Kai counted

SNAP

"Cool!! Alright, you can have your phone back...," Kai told Anne who is about to spaz any moment now

"Anne you ok?" Kai asked

"Err.. yeah..yeah...Errmm, do you want the photos? I can send it through whatsapp?," Anne answered

"Haha sure...Let's.. get.g.g going... ," Kai stuttered

 

Anne is still blushing and was on the verge of screaming her lungs out. Thank God she knows how to control it. She followed Kai as they exit the shop.

"Haiz.. I wonder how Kris and Shasha is doing..," Kai wondered, starting to imagine things

"Should be ok I guess.. No news means it's good right... Haha, we are like setting up a date for them lol... Too bad we're busy helping them that we have no time to find our own dates.. Lol!" Anne cracked ot a joke

"Well, to be honest...you can consider this as out first date...hehe...," Kai dared himself to voiced that out, and rushed in front, blushing and a satisfaction smirk appeared on his face

"KYAH!! What does he mean by that!! Aiigoo!!" Anne squealed in excitement while Kai is already ahead of her

Anne and Kai return back from their so called 'lost and found' adventure and was puzled to see Kris sitting all alone. "Where is Shasha? Aren't they suppossed to be together?" the both of them thought. Kai and Anne gave each other a very curious look.

"Kris, where is Shasha?" Anne asked

"She..she has..she have to rush home..she...she asked me to tell you guys..," Kris stuttered looking so guilty

"Ouh...," Anne said trying to figure out the missing puzzle for this case

"I got to get going too.. Haiz... I'm having a headache.. Bye guys..have fun with shopping!" Kris wished, looking so pissed and leave

"Yah Kris!!" Kai shouted but to no avail

 

Anne and Kai could sense that something is not right. They went out of the shopping centre and looks like luck isn't on their side. It's raining heavily. They have no choice but to follow the shelter which is the long way. As they are walking pass the tunnel to the bus stop, they saw a familiar girl figure, leaning against a tree trunk, sobbing desperate tears in the rain.

"Anne, isn't that Shasha?" Kai pointed out

"What is she doing in the rain.. Kai hurry!!" Anne exclaimed and both of them  rushed towards Shasha who is all drenched

"Goodness, Shasha what is wrong? What happened? Why are you standing in the rain? Come, let's go find a shelter..," Anne suggested and brought her to the nearest shelter

 

All Kai and Anne heard from just now is wailing. No words really could express Shasha's agony right now.

"Tell me what happened? Maybe me and Kai could help?" Anne told Shasha, adjusting her wet fringe

"Did Kris say something hurtful to you? Just tell me and I will beat the hell out of him...," Kai asked, patting Shasha's shoulder

"Tsk...tsk....tsk...[WAILED]!!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~" Shasha wailed and went on to hug Anne because she can't control her emotions right now

"Shasha... it's ok...We're here with you... You can tell us when you feel like it arra?Shh..shh..." Anne consoled her, with Kai patting her back gently

Kris just reached home and he is also drenched in the rain. He reflect on what he just said to Shasha on the way back and he don't even know whether he is doing the right thing or wrong. At least he told his honest feelings. With his drenched clothes, he just sit on his leather sofa, massaging his head.

He then retrieve his phone, opening Seunghui's photo and stare at it. Thinking and deciding very hard whether he should stop having feeling for her or not. Again that pressurizing feeling hits him. He is so fed up that he just threw his phone to one side.

"Arrgghh!! Why must a girl like me when I am facing such a difficult situtaion!!!! Haiz.z..," Kris cried in frustration

Then, the doorbell rang.

"Aiisshh, who the hell is it this time!!!!" Kris roared and went towards the main door

 

The moment he open.........[PUNCH IN THE FACE] causing Kris to land hard on the floor.

Kris wipe of the blood stains from the side of his mouth and stand up, looking at Kai in a sinister way.

"What the f**k is your problem? Are you drunk?" Kris asked in a serious yet angry tone

"Yah, are you stupid or what? How could you said such things to Shasha?!!!! You !!! A girl trying her very best to like you and there you are being childish, showing your f**ked up attitude?" Kai scolded

"Since when you're so into my problem? It's none of your business, so let me handle it arra? Although you're my friend, I hate anyone who interfere in my problems... Now get the hell out before I beat the hell out of you..," Kris warned

"Is it about Seunghui that stop you from liking other girls?" Kai insulted

"Kai, enough arra?!!!" Kris warned

"Ouhhh.. so that is the freaking reason? So you're gonna wait like a fool for the rest of your life?, Waiting for a girl who doesn't even have feelings for you? Seriously Kris, grow up will you?" Kai keeps on insulting to wake his friend up

"YAH ENOUGH OK???!!!!!! Don't make things turn dirty" Kris is on the verge of punching him now

"You know what's wrong with you? Your ego level is too high!!! Trust me dude, you'll never end up with Seunghui! Mark my words!!!!!!!!!" Kai said sarcastically

"SHUT THE F**K UP!!!!!!!!!!!" Kris yelled and landed his fist on Kai, causing Kai to land on the hard marble floor

Kris just stared sinisterly at his friend, taking deep frutrating breath, his fist turning red upon punching Kai on the face. Kai stand up, massage the side of his mouth, preparing to attack Kris back giving Kris a predator stare...

They fight each other until Kris did a very powerful push to Kai causing Kai to hit his head hard on the sharp edge of the bookshelf. Blood starts to oozed out from Kai head. Kris automatically felt a bit worried and regret doing that to Kai. He quicly rush over to Kai who is struggling to get up.

"Yah, gwenchana?" Kris asked being a bit concerned as he still regard Kai as his friend although things turns out in a dirty way

"Get your f**king hands off me!!!! Wah, such a great best friend I had here.[covering his wound to prevent blood from flowing]..," Kai said bearing the painfulness

"Kai..I..I didn't mean...," Kris sounded worried

"You didn't mean it??? Didn't mean it??? You always said that but you actually did mean it don't you. Same goes to rejecting a girl... Fun isn't it hurting people's feeling? You know what is your problem? Your ego level is way too high and you don't even have the bloody guts to make friends with anyone ever since you fell for Seunghui. Why are you controlling yourself by avoiding yourself to like someone else? Seunghui is not even your official girlfriend. You're acting as if she is controlling your life. If you really love her, you would have told her or at least be friend with her since the first time you met her...Why aren't you doing anything about it? Afraid of being rejected? Shy to confessed? Like seriously, there must be a limit of being shy...In your case, you are way too shy that whatever you expected to happen didn't come true. You'll end up regretting instead!!! Right? To my view, waiting for a girl that you like and by not doing anything it's the same as wasting your time. You want something do something about it. Don't expect her to come to you instead.

And please don't think that you're great after finding out that a girl like you. That is just stupid. Maintain your ego level. Opportunity is right in front of your freaking eyes Kris. Do you know how hard is for a girl to like a guy like us? You're lucky that Shasha is interested in you... Don't you think you're a bit of a fool sometimes? Someone already likes you.. All you have to do is just try and be friends with her..Unlike other guys out there who still have to find for their miss right? Be thankful will you?" Kai lectured Kris

Knowing that he is in the wrong, Kris just face downwards, reflecting on what Kai had just lectured him.

"All she wants is to be friends with you. As a friend, my advice is just bloody open up your mouth and talk to her instead of stoning!! Change that shy boy character of yours!!" Kai nagged

 

Kai harshly made his way to the main door and then stop. Both of their eyes meet. Kai took out his phone from his pocket and throw it on the sofa...

"This is what I mean when I told you Seunghui is not worth to wait for...,If you regret after what you've done, apologised to Shasha. She's in the hospital..." Kai reminded Kris and take a couple sheets of tissue paper from the tissue box to cover up his wound before leaving

 

Kris grab the phone and played the video. It's a video of Seunghui hugging another guy..which is obvious that she had found her own soul mate. Feeling frustrated, Kris slam the phone on the sofa and cried. Realising that he is a fool all tis while, wasting his five years loving a girl who doesn't even have feelings for him.

It's 8am in the morning and Shasha had regain her concious. She actually had a very high fever that she fainted after telling her whole painful story to Kai and Anne. She has to be sent to the hospital immediately. She slowly sit upright and it takes her quite some time to know that she is in the hospital. She is feeling much more better now.

Actually Kris had been waiting outside her ward for the past 1 hour and he is monitoring Shasha now. Then their eyes accidentally met but Kris quickly move backwards to hide himself. Shasha notice the shadow andshe recognised that shadow.

"Kris?" she called out

Kris awkwardly come out from his hideout area and entered the ward. He made a stroll towards Shasha's bed. Amazingly it's the first time he showed Shasha his dashing smile.

Kris sat on the chair provided.

"They told you I'm being warded?" Shasha asked without facing him

"Yup...," Kris answered

Then there is an awkward silence again. Shasha try to remember what Anne told her. 'Don't expect more from Kris Shasha...He is really not worth it to cry for....act as if, if he wants to be friends with you just be friends with him. If not so be it.. Don't have to be too stress about him. Move on!! There are better guys in the world'

Shasha decides to follow her friend's advice and try not to be so into him right now. Just friend zone will do. As promised, Kris decided to turn over a new leaf. He dared himself to start the conversation.

 

"So.. what did the doctor said? Are you allowed to go home?" Kris asked in a rusty voice

"Maybe tomorrow...haha what's wrong with your voice dude??" Shasha acted as her normal self, trying to break the shyness barrier

"Hahah.. It's due to my trainng.. You know I have to shout out to my juniors to train them to march and all stuffs...," Kris try to blend in with the joke

"Haha it must be fun to order them to do stuffs....for example like..ehem..'left, left, left right left....left, left, left, right, left, [accidentally cough in a funny way] ...." Shasha try to impersonate a police officer

"Hahahahaahaha~~~~" Kris laughed

"You ok? Haha here have some water....," Kris offered her, pouring a drink for her

Then they started to chat and get to know more about each other without even noticing that Anne and Kai is watching them from outside.

 

"Hmmm looks like things are going well...," Anne told Kai

"Thanks to me!! Kris owe me one! Come on, let's leave them alone...," Kai suggested

 

BACK IN THE WARD

"I..," both Kris and Shasha said

"You first...,." Kris offered, being a gentleman

"I wanna apologised about my awkward actions towards you...I know it's quite sudden and stupid. I think it might frightened you that I texted you quite often. You must be feeling kinda annoyed by it. I'm sorry...I mean, any girl who has a crush would of course be excited right? But I think I didn't limit myself. Anne talk to me about you and I just wanna be friends with you. Forgive me for my irritating act which causes you to avoid me? I'm sorry..," Shasha apologised sincerely

" Actually I am suppossed to be apologising to you. I am the one being such a foolish jerk. Mianhe.... I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings that day. I just wanna tell you what I honestly feel but I guess I had gone overboard? I am such a fool to not to accept a friendship proposal from you. I just get to know that my crush had found a new soul mate.. And I waited for nothing! Thanks to Kai I actually realised my obvious mistakes. I'm sorry alright?" Kris apologised with a sincere smile

"Nah it's ok. Humans aren't perfect.. Ouh, your crush had a boyfriend? I'm sorry to hear that..," Shasha apologised

"Yup... eh, I'm not here to talk about that. I made a point to forget about it... So are we cool now? Friends?" Kris suggested, preparing for a handshake.

A stretch of satisfying smile appeared on Shasha's face. She thank God that at least her relationship with Kris is being reunited. And Shasha learns that friendship last longer compared to relationship. She is willing to accept Kris even though it's only as friends. Shasha went on to give Kris her first ever friendship handshake.

"Friends!" Shasha agreed

"Yeah! We're officially friends! Hahaha~~" Kris joked as he wants to break the awkward barrier to start a new life after what happened to his crush

 

"Haiz.. if only he said that we're officially lovers..." Shasha's heart is saying. But she tries not to thnk about it too much and just go with flow. Having Kris as a friend is like a miracle to Shasha already!

3 MONTHS LATER..............

Time pass like the speed of light. It's been three months already and Shasha, Anne, Kai and Kris had become best friends. Amazingly, Kris and Shasha are never awkward towards each other again and their other two friends are proud of their changing behaviour. They often hang out during the weekends, sometimes study whenever exams are around the corner. However, ever since they were friends Kris had this confusion feelings over Shasha. They are kinda close after knowing more about each other.

The date is 3 October 2013 today and it's a very special day. Unfortunately, a few more days it's Shasha and Anne final exam. Shasha is busy focusing on her studies that she had forgotten that it's actually her birthday. While Shasha is flipping through her notes, she receive a call from Kris.

 

"Yo Kris, wassup?" Shasha answered cheerfully

"Hey, you wanna study together at our usual place?" Kris asked

"Sounds great.. Meet you there in 15 minutes!!" she told him and hung up

 

Both of them reached exactly at 3pm. Kris looks so worried about wasting precious time that he quickly take out all of his books and notes, displaying it on the table and continue reading. Shasha just smirk and chuckled a bit.

 

"Where is Anne and Kai?" Shasha asked

"Heard that they are busy today...," Kris told her, eyes focusing on his book

 

2 HOURS LATER..............

"Phew! Done at last!!" Shasha sighed

 

Now Kris is the one looking so pressurizing, upon memorizing a topic.

"Aiish!! Why is it so difficult to enter my head!!" Kris complained

"Haha chill bro! Take it slow...," Shasha adviced him

"Seriously!! I'm afraid I would fail the test!" Kris exclaimed looking so stress

"Relax for God's sake!! Alright, I'll help you ok? Just give me your notes, I'll try and understand it and explained to you afterwards ok? Just give me 30 minutes.. Hand me your notes..," Shasha requested

"You really have to understand it arra? I'll go to the washroom first... You must be able to satisfy me with your explanation later ok?" Kris warned, handing the notes to her and rush off

 

So Shasha, went on to open the very first page of Kris notebook. Her eyebrow automatically crease in confusion upon reading what is written on the very first page.

PAGE 1:

I've been monitoring you ever since we became friends.......

"Hahaha.. this Kris must have been bored while studying at home huh? Haha!!" I laughed and turn to the next page which causes my curiousity level to rise up.

PAGE 2:

Ever since we became freinds, my life had been much more better than what I had encountered in the past...

PAGE 3:

Thank you for being such a great friend to me even though it's only like three months. I felt like we've been friends for years... ^^

PAGE 4:

I felt so lucky to have you as a friend. You always bring happiness into my life. It's such a watse for not realising it earlier.. Haish!! What a fool I am! XP

PAGE 5:

We have a lot of similarities in terms of character wise. Both are shy, we have phobia towards cats, we're born on the same month.. To be honest, because of you, I actually made a final decision to change my behaviour which is to be a more friendly and out going person so that it's easier for me to communicate with people. Thank you for that! :D :D

PAGE 6:

I know I had done a lot of hurtful things to you. Especially that day where you had a high fever because of me. Mianhe...I still feel bad till now ok? I just can't forgive myself everytime I think about it. All of the sins that I've done, all of the text messages that I've ignored, my hurtful actions and the way I rejected you , please forgive me for all that? I swear it won't happen again ok? Cross my heart I promised! ^__^

PAGE 7:

Moving on...Oh , my pen is running out of ink!! XP XP

Ok..as I was saying, I had a good feeling after the friendship handshake that we've made at the hospital. I just could sense that it would turn out into a good friendship. But another feeling starts to develope in me. It's the feeling that could make you go crazy sometimes if you think about it.

As days passed by, I honestly have some feelings for you. I know it's weird but something about you that attracts me so much. Your sense of humor, you irresistable dimples and smile, your honesty and sincerity is being glued to my mind like every single day. You never fail to make me laugh.. "1-4-3? What the hell is that?" Shasha thought, looking so puzzled

 

She then made her way to the fountain like what was being instructed. She don't even know why her heart is beating at full speed. It's as if she is about to have a heart attack. She then saw Kris facing the fountain. She went and stand beside him, her face turning as red as an apple.

"Interesting notes you have there...," Shasha teased while Kris just smile and keep quiet.

"So what is the meaning of 1-4-3?" Shasha asked blurly

 

Kris turn to face her, slowly holding onto her two hands.

"I love you.," Kris confessed his feelings

"Eh, stop being dramatic arra? Haha.. so that is what it means. I see..," Shasha said and nodded

"No, Shasha I am not telling you what it means but I actually mean it.....I really do love you!" Kris confessed

"What? Y..Yo..You..r..rea..really..me..mean it?" Shasha asked in bewilderment

"I know you had been waiting for this moment... And I think I am being unfair to you all this while.. I realised that you're the one for me. The perfect girl for me. I really love you Shasha, not as a friend but as a lover..Will you be my girlfriend?" Kris proposed

"Kris..I...[crying with tears of happiness].. Yes!! YES!!!!!!!!!" Shasha agreed and give Kris a tight hug

"Sorry to keep you waiting Shasha. You're the only one for me now... Saranghae!" Kris confessed and hugged her very tightly

"Love you too!" Shasha wished

Thanks for coming into my life Kris.

 

Lesson Learnt: It's really worth to wait for that special someone but not worth to cry for them! :)
