✰My Color: A LDR FanFiction✰

Description

When you turn 24 in Japan, your parents and your peers expect you to be married or married with your first child. It didn't matter if you were famous with a schedule that could possibly kill you. My mother always scolds me saying that if I have time to update my blog, eat, and sleep, I should have enough time to find a suitable husband. I wish finding someone to date was that simple, and I bet it is if you weren't me. I wish I could find a man who would look beyond what I do for a living, and see who I really am on the inside.

"How about you try My Color? It's a new app where you chat with people anonymously. I met some really nice guys from all over the world, and plus it's free."

I wasn't sure if I should try what my friends advise me to use. We've been through this before and every time I end up giving the guy I meet a heart attack. They always tell me to wait to tell my date that part about myself, but before I could even open my mouth to say 'Hello' my date would already be blushing and babbling. Maybe this time it'll be different, maybe i'll meet someone from America or Brazil, or someone who hasn't been on the interenet in the past 5 years. I just want to meet someone that I really connect with.

"Welcome to My Color. Choose a username and start chatting."

I lay in bed and stare at my cell phone screen. This app is really popular, over 15 million people have downloaded it. Out of all those people, will I meet someone? "Username... 575Prfm" I tap at the letters and number, reading the username for mistakes then pressing 'OK'. Before I could switch from laying on my stomach to my side, I got a message. "Male. Korea. 21." I read to myself as I laid on my side.

MRWOW: I'm a Perfume fan too.

575Prfm: Perfume is popular in Korea?

MRWOW: Not really but I love them. Kashiyuka is my favorite.

575Prfm: No way, I love her too. Do you own any of their albums?

MRWOW: I have every one plus their concert DVDs. So if you live in Japan, have you seen them live?

575Prfm: Oh I wished but my schedule for work is so hectic, I barely have time to sleep.

MRWOW: I know what that is like. I had to fake sick to get out of dance practice today.

575Prfm: Dance practice? Haha :P

MRWOW: What is so funny?

575Prfm: I just pictured a really muscular guy dancing to Communication.

MRWOW: So you picture me as muscular? and I do know that dance. >.>

575Prfm: Most of the Korean men I see in Japan are really muscular, most of them are idols of course. I know that dance too. I know all their dances.

MRWOW: I bet I can do the dances better than you!

I sat up and rolled my eyes, as if he could see me. "Ha! I perfected every dance! I know all of Kashiyuka's parts!" My fingers couldn't type fast enough, my words were coming to me so fast.

MRWOW: That's impressive, since I only know the dances from Nocchi's POV but! I bet I could out sing you... even though my Japanese is not that great since I speak Korean.

575Prfm: My Korean is amazing, obviously.

MRWOW: This is just typing... do you want to use the voice chat?

I felt a lump form in my throat, like I swallowed sand. Texting him was fun but now I have to speak? What if he recognizes my voice?

MRWOW: You there?
