It was a typical Monday afternoon and you just ended school. You walked out of the school gates and you saw Youngjae, who never fails to wait for you, no matter how busy he was. Your eyes met his and you blushed, you waved goodbye to your classmates and went over and gave him a hug. 

'How was school?' Youngjae asked as he helped you carry your books.

'It was.. well.. uhm.. tiring, as usual.' You said as you heaved a sigh.

Youngjae noticed how tired you were and wanted to do something to cheer you up.

'Follow me' He said as he interlocked his fingers with yours and rushed forward

'W-what- HEY!' you felt yourself rushing forward as he pulled you behind him, still with interlocked fingers. Youngjae stopped and smiled. 'Here we are!' looking at the store.

'Thanks for making me run in this dreadful weather' 

'You're welcome. Now let's go in.' Youngjae led you in a froyo place where there were froyo machines with many flavors to choose from and on the other side of the room, a place where all the toppings are placed.

The both of you found a table for two and placed your stuff down. 'You wait here.' He said as he settled you down. You looked around the place and the interior was really cute, definitely a place to go for frozen yogurt whenever a dreadful weather comes in.

Youngjae grabbed 2 cups and went over to the machines and checked what flavors were available ; 

Red Velvet, Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Lime, Kiwi-Strawberry and Original

'Hmm.. Red velvet and strawberry for her,' Youngjae said to himself as he pulled the lever down and down came the froyo in swirls. 'And.. Vanilla and Lime for me.' He then pulled the lever down and allowed the froyo to swirl in the cup.

You then turned and sat sideways on the chair and saw Youngjae, with his back facing you. You smiled to herself and giggled, *You never fail to make my day a lil better.*

After filling the cups with frozen yogurt, Youngjae headed to the table with containers filled with many toppings to choose from. 

Hundreds and Thousands, oreo bits, white chocolate chips, milk Chocolate chips and chunks, Reese's peanut butter bits, strawberry and kiwi slices and many more.

Youngjae knew you liked fruity pebbles and took the spoon and sprinkled a spoonful over your cup ; a few strawberry slices, and drizzled caramel sauce over your cup. He bought his cup over to himself and took 2 peperos and stuck it on top of the vanilla froyo, sprinkled peppermint bits and drizzled chocolate sauce over his cup. He then headed to the counter and paid for the two cups.

Youngjae went back to the table where the both of you chose with two cups of frozen yogurt on his hands with a smile on his face. 

'Red velvet and strawberry for the school girl and Vanilla and Lime for me!' He said happily.

You giggled at his cuteness, the cuteness you couldn't resist.

The both of you dug in and enjoyed the sweet atmosphere in the room.

You scooped a spoon of red velvet froyo and placed in your mouth and looked around. 'This place is really cute, especially the uniforms of those working here..' Youngjae looked at you as he scooped a spoon, he continued looking until you caught him looking at you. 'Is-is there something on my face? why are you looking at me like that?' He continued looking at you in the eye and smiled. 

'H-hey.. Your froyo's melting..' 

Still, he didn't respond. He continued looking at you. You tilted your head, still looking puzzled as ever.

'I brought you here because you said school was tiring, and i don't like to see you tired because of school. I want to see you like how I first saw you ; bubbly and always smiling, a smile that only heaven can make knowing that i'm the reason behind that smile. I never knew spending time with you could be something special.' He said as he touched your cheek. You couldn't help but blush and smiled. 

'Eat your froyo! It's melting!' You told him and he smiled.

'Let's play the pepero game!' He insisted

'What?! Here?!' 

'I'll not finish my froyo until we finish this game.' A smirk came upon his face.

*Yoo Youngjae..* You thought.

'Okay fine. Promise me you'll finish it.' 

'Cross my heart and hope to die' He held up his right hand with his palm facing out

Youngjae pursed the pepero stick between his lips and leaned forward, you covered your face, embarrassed. You looked up and leaned forward and soon enough, you caught the chocolate covered biscuit stick, you took a smal bite, youngjae did the same. It went on until there wasen't any bit left for biting a piece. The both of you closed your eyes, with both of your lips about an inch away from each other, he opened his eyes and took the bite and kissed you.

You were taken aback and opened your eyes. You felt sparks inside your heart, a feeling that you didn't know how to describe. You didn't know what to do, you didn't want to break the kiss but enjoyed it. His soft lips against yours. 

The both of you broke the kiss and looked around, people were looking. The both of you looked away and giggled. Soon after, the both of you finished your froyo.

'Let's go? It's getting late. You need to be home and I need to head back to practice.' Youngjae said as he helped you with your stuff and stood up. 

'Alright' You replied. The both of you left the store. It was a beautiful night in Seoul. Lights sparkled from building to building, the songs playing from store to store. 

Youngjae then again took your hand and interlocked his fingers with yours. You saw what he did and smiled and walked to the subway. The train arrived and the both of you continued walking home with interlocked fingers.

The both of you reached the front porch of your house and heaved a sigh. You didn't want him to leave, neither did he. You took your stuff from him and look down.

'What's wrong?' He asked as he lifted your chin

'Today went by so quickly.. And I'll only see you again after 2 days..' You said.

With his heart feeling warm, he hugged you. His hug felt warm and safe. 

'But one thing's for sure is that I'll never leave you.' He said as he kissed your forehead.

You felt better and fell back in his arms. The both of you waved goodbye, you walked towards your front door and he taking the opposite way back to the subway station.

'Youngjae Oppa!' You turned and ran towards him. He turned as well.

You ran to him and hugged him tightly as you could. He smiled and hugged you back.

'Thanks for today, everything's always better when I'm with you. I love you.' You said.

'I love you, too.' He then kissed you on the lips. 

'Ring me once before you head to bed, alright?' he said and you nodded. Then again, the both of you waved goodbye and headed back. 

You went up to your room and washed up and got changed into your favorite comfortable pajamas and grabbed your phone and laid on your bed. You dialed Youngjae's number and he picked up. 'Hello?' 

'Hello? Oppa.. You're still practicing?' You wondered

'Yeah.. Are you heading to bed soon? You should, there's school tomorrow.' He said on the other line.

'Yup, I will. Make sure yo-u-u drink w-water-...'

Your eyelids had so much weight that you fell asleep right on the spot. Youngjae looked at his phone and smiled. 

'Yes, I will. Good night, my love. Sleep well. I love you.'
