Elena was tired but satisfied, the only times she had felt that was when she was helping people or having a very active -life, which wasn't so active anymore.

She couldn't believe she got through with the job though.

She was going to do part-time in an army base.

She had been through half of the hospitals in Gangnam-ju before one of the nurses at St. Mary's told her about a recent opening at a military base.

She hopped a car straight to Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi Province, then she was at a gate where a guard escorted to the head office, to which she was promptly told to wait for 10 minutes before being seen by a head official who questioned her on her skills,experiences and qualificiations.

Elena answered the questions all in a good stride before handing the army Sgt. her resume , his eyes widened when he saw how much experience she really had.

''When can you start?'' He asked.

She was stunned for a few seconds and but answered swiftly. ''How does now sound?''

He smiled. ''Diligent....that's something we admire here....I'll have my secretary give you your schedule.'' He said standing up to shake her hand.

''My schedule?'' She asked surprised. 'They really work fast.'

He chuckled. ''We really needed someone to full in for Dr.Nam whose on temporary leave until January.''

''Oh.'' She mouthed before he gestured for her to follow him, where they were greeted by a short but kind woman who started handing Elena a lot of forms to fill out.

'Paper-work.....better get started.' She sighed before grabbing a pen.

''As soon as you finish up here, I'll have someone you around the base.'' He replied before walking back into the office, his army paraphernelia was glistening.

When the paper-work was finaly finished, Ms.Kim handed Elena a temporary badge until her real one would be finished by tomorrow, her picture was already saved in the computer's database and clipboard was handed to her.

''These are for the army personel who need to get vaccinated.'' Two red binders were handed to her.

''Here is a list of their famlilies phone numbers or next of kin.'' A thick blue binder was soon placed in her hands on top of the other binders.

'This is getting heavy.' She thought inwardly but smiled nevertheless.

''This is the key to your office.'' A brass key was handed to her.

''Oompf.'' she gasped out as the last binder was handed to her, it was the thickest yet and pitch black with the emblem for the korean arms forces on it including the batalion number.

She gave Ms.Kim an awkward bow as she struggled to walk with the weight of everything in her hand.

Walking out the door, she bounced into a warm body and dropped her the binders.

''Aish....seriously.'' She yelled as she stooped down to get them, but she had to adjust her feet because of her black penciled skirt that showed off her long,smooth tan legs.

''Mianhe.'' The person apologized before bending helping, he looked at her and coughed as he saw her legs.

''It's no problem....thank you.'' Her accent came out more profound to which he found cute.

''Are you the new doctor?'' He asked.

She chuckled. ''More like nurse...I'm not fully certified yet...I still have one more year.''

She finally looked up in the curious eyes of Park Jungsoo.

'Dios Mio.'

He grabbed the black and blue binders and held them in one hand before holding out a hand to her.

She picked up the keys, along with the remaining binders and her purse before grabbing it.

He effortlessly pulled her up.

''Kamsahmida.'' She gave him a wide grin as he walked with her.

''I'm guessing you're my ?'' He nodded, his dimple appearing.

'He's so cute.' 

Elena opened the doors to her office in anticipation and smiled upon seeing a small but comfortable desk on one side with multiple beds against the walls, backed by white draw curtains.

'I could get used to this.' She walked to the desk and Jungsoo followed behind her, as they placed the binders on it.

''This place needs a woman's touch.'' She eyed it in curiously.

'Some plants...a splash of color...and some colorful pens.'

She wondered around the room looking at the shelves and full cabinets which had gauze, different medicines and tons of sterilized needles that were sealed including small first aid kits.

'Aren't we prepared.' She chuckled before turning back to Jungsoo who had been following her movements.

''Jungsoo-sshi....thanks for everything.''

He smiled back politely before turning to walk out the door.

She called out to him before he could leave.

''Jungsoo-sshi.''

''Deh!'' He turned around.

She grinned before placing her hands above her in a heart and then giving a fist pump.

''Leeteuk-Oppa....HWAITING!''

He let out one of his famous laughs before nodding happily.

'Wait till Alexa hears about this.' She squealed excitedly and collapsed on a random bed.

A few hours later, Elena had finally organized the infirmary so she could find her files better and had sent a message with Secretary Kim for a surprise vaccination tomorow.

For now, she was glad to be heading home.

'I can sleep into the next Ice Age.' She sighed walking to the apartment.

Typing into the password, she called out. ''Alexa.....I'm home...you won't believe who I saw today.''

Alexa ran up to her before she could walk into the living room.

She grabbed her hand and tiptoed around the corner.

Elena's hands flew to .''You've finally cracked...haven't you!''

Alexa rolled her eyes. ''Ani...you pabo...they came for Heechul Oppa.''

''But shouldn't they have left earlier?''

Alexa sighed tiredly. ''They wouldn't leave until they thanked you.''

''Seriously....'' El groaned before shedding her heels and stepping into the room.

''Annyeoung.'' She greeted.

Heechul appeared out of thin air and bowed politely. ''Kamsahmida for taking care of me  Elena-sshi.''

''It's just Elena.'' She told him.

''You're a stubborn one aren't you.'' Kyuhyun spoke up.

'' What of it....'' She  mumbled.

''I'm going to bed.'' Alexa said walking into her room.

''Well gentleman...it's been a blast...but it's time for you to leave.'' She told them pointing to the door.

''Arraseo.'' They replied walking out.

Heechul had slipped off into Alexa's room and appeared again without a second before leaving.

''What a tiring day.'' Alexa groaned walking out.

''Well....there are upsides to this.'' Elena grinned.

''What?''

''I got a job!'' Elena screamed.

''Really?''

She nodded.

They screamed in unison.

Alexa hugged her. ''This is good news.''

Elena bit her lip...''Well I've got even better news....I met Teukie Oppa today.''

''Shut up.'' Alexa nudged her.

''No...I really did...I'm working in his army base.''

''Wow.''Alexa whistled.

''I'm know.'' Elena agreed shaking her head.

''What did Heechul say to you?''

Alexa smiled.

''He said he would like to tour me around Seoul tomorrow.''

''Have fun and try not to tire him out.''

Alexa poked out her tongue.

''You make it sound like a bad thing.''

''I know you...you walking energizer bunny.'' Elena flickered her forehead.

''Ow.''

''It was only one time.'' She whined.

Elena scoffed. ''It was more than once and you know it.''

''Fine...I'll not get any sugar!'' she declared crossing her arms.

Inwardly Alexa cringed. 'Hello drawbacks.'

''Got to sleep.'' Elena pushed her into her room as she prepared for a long relaxing bath.

'I can't believe I met superjunior today.' was the thought that echoed in their heads before they went to sleep that night.
