So, let me first introduce myself I'm Alexis Kamya Gonzales better known as Alex. I'm on my third year of college. Nag-aaral ako sa Detroit High University, a very unusual name. I'm 19 years old.  And I'm on my way to go to my besties house which is a bit far from my condo. Yes. Nagcocondo ako kasi I live all by myself. My parents are always away for business. Which now that I think about it, it's been years since we last so each other. Actually 3 years lang naman since they visited me here sa Pinas.

 

I'm used to it.

 

So again, I'm on my way to my besties house, Juliana Montes Castillo because it's her 20th birthday. Which is 'important' because it's the time of changing to an adulthood daw that's what she told me.

 

Excited rin naman kasi ako because we don't actually go to the same kolehiyo since she was forced by Tito Kris and Tita Lea to go to UP kaya ayun. So, I'll be meeting some of her friends.

 

I chose DHU because it has a pretty unusual name and I don't want to go to schools like UP kasi they have high standards and I don't think I can cope with that. Not to brag but I'm pretty good at my studies, I'm always on the Dean's List :) As long as I can finish my college, I'm all good.

 

After what took like forever! HAHAHA.

 

I'm finally here right in front of the Castillo's house. Ang yaman talaga ng family ni Juls. Hindi naman sa nagyayabang ako pero I guess I'm a rich kid. I hate the sound of that. I just don't like to you know tell people about my family's wealth and things like that. It just doesn't sound right for me. And besides, my parents are the one who are managing the family businesses so I can't really say that I'm rich since I'm not the one sweating my off para sa companya. My parents are rich. Now that sounds much better.

 

Tiyaka isa pa I'm a working student. I work as a waitress in one of the resto near my school and that's how I pay my condo bills. I don't like relying on my parents' money.

 

"Aleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeex!"

 

I turned around to see my bestie running towards me. Excited talaga siya makita ako. Paano ba naman kasi, like I told you we don't go to the same college school and we've been busy this past few weeks kaya we haven't had time to hang out. 

 

 

"Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuls!" sigaw ko naman.

 

 

"Araaaaaaaaay!" sabi naming dalawa

 

 

Why? Kasi naman instead of hugging napako yung forehead naming dalawa sa isa't isa kaya ayan. Masakit. Try niyo kaya tignan natin kung hindi masakit? -____-

 

 

"Ikaw naman kasi excited lang peg," aniko.

 

 

"Well, It's been forever since we last hang out. Kaya syempre happy talaga Oka!" sabi niya. (Oka = Ako)

 

"Me, too," aniko.

 

"Halika pasok na tayo," aniya.

 

Juls is not really having a big birthday party type of thing. We just have a small gathering in their screen room. Yes! May screen room sila. Ganda diba? There are a few alcoholic drinks and a lot of food.  So talagang mag eenjoy ako. Alam niyo naman may pagka matakaw ako. :D

 

Both parents of Juls sila Tito Mike and Tita Liz are away for business. Pero their much better kasi instead of going away for years, a few months or weeks lang naman sila mawawala unlike my parents. But, let's not talk about them. Later nalang :)

 

 

"Guys, my bestie nga pala Alex," aniya.

 

 

Mga 4 na tao lang naman andito. 3 girls and a guy na ang gwapo niya talaga. I bet he has a white blood sa kanya. HAHAHA! That doesn't sound right. Let me rephrase that. I bet his Filipino-American.  Boyfriend ba to ng bes ko? Wala naman akung natatandaan na sinabi niya sa akin na may boyfriend na siya. Crush lang naman. Wait, he must be the guy Juls is all over for. There's this guy that Juls always talks about over the phone.  *think think* UGH! I don't remember his name.

 

"Hi, Maria nga pala," sabi ng isang girl.

"Delilah, Nice to meet you," sabi naman ng isang magandang girl. Well, actually all three of them are gorgeous.

"Francine," sabi naman ni girl #3. Hmm. I like her. May pagka maangas siya.

 

Kasi even though I talk like this. I'm not really the type of girl that is all over guys all the time. A party lover or really fashionable. I mean I know fashion, I just like to stay simple. I even love to play basketball nga. It's a cool and fun sport.

 

 

"Hi, I'm Enrique," sabi naman nung mostisong lalaki na ngayon ay hinalikan ang palad ko. Like the back of my right hand... Awh. He is such a gentleman. THAT I SO LOVE TO GIVE A BULLS EYE. Sorry, may problema lang talaga ako sa mga tao na don't know space. I mean we just met. Duh! I'm fine with shaking hands with girls and beso beso. Pero kapag first time ko lang nakita ang lalaki and really don't know anything about space and gets too touchy.

 

 

"I wouldn't do that next time if I were you," sabi ni Juls kay Enrique.

 

Salamat naman at tapos na siya maging too attach sa hand ko. -____-

 

"Why? Is there a problem?" curious na tanong ni Enrique.

 

"Basta, just don't do it next time. You don't know how much she hates that," sabi naman ni Juls.

 

"Oh," yun nalang ang nasabi ni Enrique.

 

After 3 minutes naupo na kami on our indivual theater-like seats. With popcorns on our hands and  sodas. Meron namang mga ibang pagkain sa small table na nasa tapat namin pero popcorn lang muna sa ngayon.  We were supposed to watch conjouring which I haven't watch yet kaso natatakot naman sila bestie, maria, delilah at tiyaka si francine kaya hindi nalang. Iron Man 3 nalang ang pinapanood namin. Paborito ko naman yan :)

 

 

"Can I have some of your popcorns?" may biglang nagsalita sa left side ko.

 

That chair was unoccupied earlier, wala namang naka upo diyan kanina ha? I looked on my left and saw a handsome guy. The 5 seconds felt like forever. It was like the world stopped and it's just the two of us.. Yung puso ko tumitibok ng malakas.. Na parang sasabog na any minute.

 

"H-hi!" sabi ko nung natauhan na ako. Thank god, baka naman isipin niya na naglalaway ako sa mukha niya. That would be embarassing O.O

 

"Hi, so pwede ba pahingi ng popcorn mo?" sabi niya while smiling. Ohmygod! That smile, his smile is the best smile I have ever seen. AKO NA WEIRD!

 

"Ah sure," kaya ayun inabot ko na sa kanya.. Hinga lang ng malalim Alex kaya mo to. Wag kang pahalata diyan. Gwapo lang siya gaya ganyan ang epekto na naidolot niya sayo. Pero bakit when I saw Enrique earlier I didn't feel this?

 

"Thanks, Jake Padilla nga pala," at inabot niya sakin ang kamay niya for a shake hand kaya alangan namang maging snabera ako diba? Kaya ayun inabot ko na.

 

THAT WAS REALLY WEIRD! It felt like electricty was flowing up my body. The moment our skin touched para talaga akung nakuryente. It sent chills and weird feelings to my stomach. Like butterflies in my stomach.

 

This guy is making me go crazy!

 

Wag kang uutal jan Alex, nako.

 

"........... Alex Gonzales," sabi ko and gave him my sweetest and honest smile.

 

And that's how I remembered. He's the guy my bestfriend is falling head over heals!
