Son In Na is what people would describe as perfect. Confidence and charisma radiates from her and people always want to be around her. To the outside world, she seems to have the perfect life. But deep inside she’s really unsure of herself.

In Na puts on a professional mask when outside, she’s good at socializing and she’s talkative, however she’s always hesitant to get too close to anyone. Dear My Family

Background:

I was born into a rich family as Son Ji Hye in Taipei, Taiwan in 1993. I have one older sister and a younger brother. Our whole family lived happily in Taipei until my dad’s company started to be in danger. Our jewelry company wasn’t doing as well as before, and dad became tired and moody every day. It was because of this that mom and dad started to fight a lot. That’s when dad decided for us to move back to Korea, in Korea dad had more connections and business would be a lot easier.

Thus my siblings and I moved to Daegu, Korea with dad. In Korea everything went well, dad successfully got back into business in the Gangnam district. My sister went on and studied Jewelry design. And Mom finally decided to chase her dreams and become a performing arts professor; she was also the one who got me interested in performing.

How you met:

When I first started elementary school in Korea, I was often bullied a lot. I was half Taiwanese and many of the girls in school bullied me because my Korean wasn’t good at the time. Both of my parents had to go to work, therefore I headed to the Ice-cream parlor every day after school for months.

One day one of the girls stole my wallet, so I didn’t have money to pay for my ice-cream. This is how I met Heechul. He said it was okay and lent me money. Heechul was the perfect big brother. We got on very well and he became the first person I could really talk to. Now he’s my best friend, we can talk about everything.

Trainee History:

I auditioned for YG entertainment when I 13, however was not accepted. I was really sad at the time and was ready to give up. After a few years, with the support of mom I decided to audition again, this time for Woolim. I worked really hard for this dream, and I don’t want to disappoint my family.

I feel safe and a lot less nervous when performing together with my members. I don’t think I could ever leave my group.

Who or what is your ideal type?:

Uhmm… I don’t really have an ideal type (think) well… I do easily get melted if he has beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile. (Laugh shyly)

A band you look up to?:

I really look up to CNBLUE, I think it’s amazing how they can all play instruments and write their own songs! When I was younger I always tried to learn the guitar by myself, however I found it so difficult!

Any rumors you’ve heard about yourself?:

Well I know that there have been many rumors on internet going around that I’m going to debut solo; I would like to clear up this misunderstanding. For now I’m going to stick like glue to my sisters (smile)

What is your favorite variety show?:

 I’m a huge fan of Kang Hodong sunbae, I always like to re-watch Star King and Strong Heart episodes.

Any collaborations you would like to do?:

Dearest Mr. director, I would love to have a collaboration with CNBLUE’s Yonghwa sunbae ~ (smile and wink)
