TAO'S POV~

I remember the day I first told her. The day she became mine. And even while that was while we were merely 17, i remember that day like it was yesterday.

FLASHBACK

Me and my friends were at my house lounging around the pool with basically half of the school. Nothing new. except she was there. The girl of my dreams was right infront of me, so close but yet, so far away. After that moment when I saw her again, it all started.

KAT'S POV~

i walked into the large yard. It was filled with maybe a hundred or more of your classmates, some that you recognised and some others that you didn't. You desperately looked around for your friends that had basically forced you to come then ditched you at the door.You found them lounging near the pool hanging out with a bunch of guys you recognised as one of the groups of kingkas from school.You quickly rushed over to them and got a drink as you began talking and chit-chatting with everyone.

AUTHOR'S POV~

"TAO IS MINE !" 

The force of Kris's slap knocks you to the ground and you land with a loud thump.Tao immediately runs over to you and cradles your unconcious body and screams at Kris "WHAT THE KRIS! YOU CAN'T HIT A GIRL! ESPECIALLY BECAUSE YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT HER!" Kris is shocked to hear Tao scream at him. Tao never yells. Hell he's never even seen Tao angry. But now, Tao was furious.

Mustering all his courage, Kris screams back at him "WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME HUANG ZITAO? YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LIKE-NO WAIT LOVE YOU! I'VE TOLD YOU SO MANY TIMES THAT I LIKED YOU BUT WHAT DO YOU DO? YOU SHOVE IT IN MY FACE THAT YOU LIKE THAT !" Tao is even more enraged hearing who he thought his best friend call the girl of his dreams a . At this point Tao carefully laid you on the ground and walked up to Kris and punched him in the jaw. Kris laid on the ground clutching at his jaw, his eyes wide in shock. He never thought Tao would ever hit him. or anyone for that matter.

As he laid on the ground, he thought of all the beautiful memories of their friendship ever since the first day they met. And now all his feelings were shattered into a million pieces because of one girl. As Kris thought back to when he first realized he fell in love with Tao, he remembered how he thought that they could have a future together, be in love. He silently laid on the ground feeling lifeless because the love of his life was gone from him, and before he knew it, a tear slipped down his cheek. 

As Kris laid on the ground silently weeping, Tao was with you, hugging you to his strong and defined chest, lightly shaking you to see if you would wake up.

"Come on baby. Please wake up for me. I-I I love you. Please don't leave me like this." Tao whispered into your ear. He caressed the red handprint on your face as a tear slipped down his cheek. He held you close as all his friends all stared at the scene, not sure whether to feel sorry for Kris or for you. 

Quietly groaning, you woke up. You looked around realizing that THE Huang Zitao was holding you in his arms crying into your hair. You never felt happier in your life. The boy you had fallen in love with years before was crying into your hear whispering sweet nothings into your ear. That's when you heard it. It struck you frozen and you went stiff in Tao's arms. Tao felt the sudden change in your composure and slightly let go of you and held you at a distance, looking into your shocked eyes with his slightly red and wet eyes.

"T-Tao oppa.. what's wrong? why are you crying?" You said. "Nothing baby. Can you stand?" he asked. "Yeah, i think so."

As soon as you were able to stand on your own without wobbling, Tao knelt down in front of you."Tao what are you doing?" you said as your eyes widened. Suddenly he pulled a small box out of no where. And he opened it before you as he said, 

"Baby, I've been in love with you since the moment I first saw you. I can't marry you yet because I need to find a suitable job so that i can provide for you and keep you happy. But this ring that i have here in my hand, this ring is a promise ring. It means that you promise to be mine and only mine until the day i die. I will promise to love you and to take care of you and protect you and our future babies. I can't buy you everything a girl would want, but i do promise that I will love you and only you until we reunite in heaven forever. so the question is, will you be mine?"

Your eyes went wide as you stared into Tao's eyes searching for anything that would show you that his wasn't real. But you found nothing. You only saw love, and sincerity. You pulled Tao up off his knees without saying anything and Tao only stared at you. His expression changing from love into one of fear. 

"Babe did I say something wrong?" Tao whispered, afraid that you wouldn't feel the same. His heart was slowly breaking. And it hurt. 

"Tao, i don't need a ring or a beautiful proposal to be happy. I don't need any of it. I dont want any of it" You said as Tao's expression darkened. He turned away from you, not wanting you to see his tears. And he began walking away but then you said something that made him freeze on the spot. 

"I just need you." You whispered loud enough for him to hear. At this he turned around and rushed over to you searching your eyes for anything false. "So, my answer is yes." you said, barely above a whisper. Then Tao kissed you. He poured all of his emotions into this one single kiss and he held you tight as if he would lose you if he let go. You were startled at first, but you found yourself wrapping your arms around his neck and kissing him back and pulling him closer. "I Love you baby." he said during the kiss. You smiled into the kiss as you said

"I love you too Tao."
