Baekhyun deemed himself as an observer kind of person, and he liked to see his best friend’s interaction with his boyfriend Kris. He wasn’t really close with the latter but it was more because they went to different majors, but every time they interacted he could read the older guy like an open book. Kris Wu might’ve been a quiet guy but his gestures said a million words; he loved Chanyeol more than anything in this world, and he treasured the younger like he was his personal life buoy. Baekhyun came to understand that indeed, to Kris, Chanyeol was like the sun and his life had been revolving around his boyfriend. Baekhyun liked to consider them as a married couple rather than usual lovers; it was painfully clear that one of them could not live without the other that they looked like people coming out from the fairy tales where everybody can live happily ever after.

But life was never fair to those who wished for eternity. Kris had to lose another pillar in his life.
