The Huangs had always been a family shrouded in mystery. With their prestigious wealth with a patriotic following, they could be simply described as belonging to a superior race. To be of this main thread of bloodline meant the possession of a great power, and interwoven with this great power was an even greater responsibility. This power was absolute, and as much as it was absolute, it was frail, delicate, and with the wrong handling, could shatter and bring a devastating outcome. 

As a family tradition, the inheritance and all wealth would be passed down to the youngest son. From a young age, they were to be mentored in the arts of literature, math, combat, and the practise of ancient family rituals. Part of the greater responsibility was to acquire his perfect other half, of a thinner branching bloodline, to carry on the family's secrets and strive towards their long awaited destiny, and part of this great power was the absolute control of the underworld, of the lost souls that if not properly departed threatened the eternal balance of the world. 

For centuries the traditions had been carried out unbroken, but what would the aftermath if they were to be? Would the balance of the universe be overthrown and the world of the living be plunged into the spirit world? Or would a godforsaken curse rest of the shoulders of the perpetrator for all eternity?
