"Suzy," Gyuri walked over to where the dark haired girl was sitting at the table in the dining room, as she read the latest romance novel she had her mother sent her from home.   "Yeah?" Suzy placed her finger over the page she was currently on and looked up to see the blonde, sporting her usual casual blue jeans and a thick sweater to keep her warm from the chilly day the mountains normally provided them with.    "Remember to hand me your diet journal after dinner later today, okay?"   Suzy nodded and gave her a smile. "Yes, mam."   Gyuri continued to look at the girl, a hint of doubt in her eyes, before turning to the boy who sat beside her. "Sehun, feeling better?"   He took a bite of his food and nodded. "Yeah."   She watched him with accusing eyes as she pointed at him. "I better see you in class tomorrow then."   "Sure." He avoided Gyuri's stares as he continued to eat. After his fight with Suzy the day before, he skipped through his classes, using that he 'didn't feel well' as an excuse. Suzy even managed to vouch for him despite what he did. It was the reason he now sat by her side as they ate breakfast. Basically, he owed it to her.   Finally tearing his eyes away from his food, he managed to set his sights on the other reason for missing class the previous day. Min. She sat on another table on the far side of dining room by herself. Though usually unfazed and indifferent, Sehun couldn't bring himself to face her after yesterdays events. He couldn't get her face out of his mind. Her large eyes which were b with tears after what he did. He was so sure she wanted him, but after her unexpected reaction, he didn't know what he was so sure of anymore, which surprised him further. She had already been there almost three months and she already had a way of making Sehun question himself without her even being aware.   He considered going up to her, maybe even apologizing, but as he debated doing so, someone else beat him to it.   "Always alone, huh?" Lay asked with a smile as he sat across from Min with his tray filled with food.   Min laughed at the sight and shook her head. "No one else that I know was here."   Lay nodded in understanding and looked over to the side, his eyes coming across a disgruntled Sehun, who was watching him closely, and an oblivious Suzy, who was reading rather than eating. "What about Sehun and Suzy?" He asked, turning back to face her as she lifted her head to give the couple a quick glance.   "I don't think Suzy likes me very much," She chuckled wryly under her breath.   "She doesn't like anyone," Lay chimed, evoking a small smile from Min before she continued.   "And Sehun..." She trailed off as her eyes met him from afar. She caught him staring and he didn't do so much as flinch as he kept his eyes settled on her. She recalled the day before, how his lips felt against hers; how a spark had quickly ensued between them despite her better judgement protesting against it;  And how she managed to respond back to it. She was still terrified of men and she didn't care for being touched. But she couldn't understand why she still felt the impulse to kiss him back. "I don't trust him." She finished off lowly, making Lay look up to meet her gaze as he chewed on his cereal, carefully glancing at her in response to her choice of words.   Min ducked her head and continued to poke at her eggs as she looked down at them. It wasn't exactly a lie. She didn't trust him. And she didn't trust herself in his presence either. Something about him came off as dangerous and her mind and body warned her to stay away.   Lay kept his eyes on her as she kept her gaze down and ate her food silently. Again, he wondered what it was exactly that went through her mind. Min was so different to him. So foreign. Just when he thought he was beginning to understand her, she always said or did something different to contraditct it. Just like when he suddenly felt she was finally beginning to open up, she would close herself off again.   And just where did this distrust for Sehun come from? Not like he didn't blame her. He sometimes came across too strong. It was no different then when Lay first met him, when Sehun had just arrived almost four months prior to Min. He hadn't exactly made an effort to change either. He had remained the same, and he wondered if her ever would change from whatever ed up thing he went through back where he came from. But there was always this unspoken rivalry between the two of them and he felt that it had only worsened upon Min's arrival.   Lay cleared his throat as he decided to change the subject. "So tomorrow's group. You ready for that?"   Min squirmed slightly in her seat as she remembered having read that in her schedule for this week. Her large eyes looked up at Lay's and his breath hitched as she captivated him with such ease, yet again. "I-" She hesitated and took a breath before she could continue. "I'm not ready."   "You don't have to talk about anything you don't feel comfortable talking about," He assured with a smile. "They won't force you to talk. Just go and get an understanding of what goes on in there."   "You sound like a counselor," She smiled.   "I've considered it," He laughed at her statement, making her smile in response. "Coming here has made me realized how much I would like to help people."   Min nodded as she listened to him. To her, Lay really was incredible. She enjoyed the way he spoke with such a lighthearted expression and how he laughed so easily. It was such a breath of fresh air to her, and again, she wondered how someone like him could possibly be there in such a place with her. She watched him curiously as he took another bite of his food. "So how long have you been here, exactly?"   "I got here about six months before you did," He replied as he chewed his food.   "Well, I've been here for three," She began as she quickly calculated the total amount in her head. Her eyes widened. "So you've been here for nine in total?"   "Yup," He nodded cutely, before arching his brows playfully. "Seems long, doesn't it?"   She took a bite of her food and nodded. "Yeah."   "Well, it doesn't feel that way." He shook his head, wearing a sad smile. "Considering how life was for me before I got here, it feels like I've only been here for a short time. Like the peace I found will be ripped away from me at any moment."   To this, Min's shoulders fell as she quietly asked, "What are you in here for?"   He looked at her and leaned into her with a smile. "You really want to know?" Min simply nodded in response as she felt his breath ghost across her face. "You'll just have to find out in group tomorrow." With a laugh, he pulled back and continued eating. "Finish up. I'll walk you to class."   As he continued eating, Min kept her eyes on Lay. Though he thought she probably missed it, Min was able to catch the look of panic that quickly crossed his eyes, and she questioned why it was there in the first place.   She placed a piece of toast in and chewed as she wondered what could break someone such as him, and to be honest...   she feared finding out. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -    "Min," Jiyong called out for the small girl before she could make her way inside of the small room that would be holding their group therapy session. She looked up at the man and watched as he smiled down at her. "You ready for today?"   Min's eyes swiftly caught sight of her fellow group members making themselves comfortable and she gulped at having to talk about things like feelings or her past. The idea was horrifying.   Feeling something against her shoulder, Min flinched as her eyes widened and a scream got caught in . "It's just me," Jiyong assured as he watched her shiver nervously. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have surprised you like that."   "N-no. It's okay," Her voice was shakey and she had to remember to breathe in order to calm her nerves. "I shouldn't have reacted like that. I just got shocked is all," She tried to joke, but her voice still came out a bit too forced and all Jiyong could do was nod in response.   "Go in and join the rest," He motioned with a nod of his head and she nodded in response before making her way inside.   Gyuri, who was standing behind them and witnessed what happened slowly made her way up to him in the hall, just outside the door. "Jiyong. She's reacting-"   "I know," He agreed, already knowing all too well what Gyuri was going to say. Both of their eyes were set on Min as she walked in and sat between Lay, who was patting on the chair beside him, and Amber. "We can't let her talk today. It may be a lot worse than we expected and we may be over our heads here if what we think it is, is actually what it is."   Gyuri nodded in agreement and soon followed him inside, closing the door behind her before they both made their way and sat on the chairs located at the head of the circle.   "So, today is Min's first official group session," Jiyong began out loud before placing his attention on the girl in discussion. "Just so you know, we do this twice every two months. And here we basically discuss what it is that troubles us. It doesn't necessarily need to be the reason why you're here, but you can talk if you want or you can pull us aside and talk to one of us in private if you're ever ready to." Min nodded but kept shut; having no intention to discuss anything. At least not at the moment. Both Jiyong and Gyuri already assumed much and moved on to the other students.   Min took a breath of relief as she let her eyes roam around the room. She sat in between Lay and Amber, with Lay on her right and Amber on her left. Beside Lay was Gyuri and beside her Jiyong. Across from Lay was Suzy and beside Amber was Henry. Finishing up the group that sat around in a circle, her eyes landed on the last person, Sehun. But for the first time she caught something curious in his expression that was neither in the form of a smirk or a glare. Instead he looked down at his hands and she could swear that she was seeing his features becoming more serious than usual. There was a vulnerability to him that she would've thought could've never existed had she not been witnessing it first hand.    "Now let's move onto introductions, shall we?" Gyuri then motioned for Suzy to start.   "I'm Suzy," She started as she held her head high, maintaining her perfect posture as she properly articulated every word she spoke. "And I've been here for going on eight months." She hesitated briefly, before regaining her composure and continuing her introduction. "I was placed here for bulimia and cutting and I've been clean off drugs for as long as I've been here."   "Very good, Suzy," Gyuri praised as she gave the young girl an encouraging smile. "Sehun?"   Sehun glanced up and sighed in annoyance before straightening up. "My name is Sehun," He began with his introduction. "And I've been in here for six and a half months. I'm here for drug abuse, running and fighting. You can say I have some anger management problems." He gave a dark smirk before his eyes wandered over to Lay and Min. More specifically, Min. He had yet to really shake off what he had seen the morning before, during breakfast. He didn't like that they were so close to one another and he especially didn't like how Min still tried her best to avoid him despite him knowing that she did find him interesting.   "Do you regret running?"   "What?" Sehun was caught off guard by Jiyong's question.   "All-around student and captain of the varsity football team since your Sophomore year? I mean, that's an impressive feat for someone your age. Do you regret throwing all of that away? Throwing away your scholarships, your family, your home, your friends and your chance of being something?"   "Suzy got to do her introduction. Why am I suddenly being interrogated?"   "It's a simple question. Besides, we know Suzy's story. Your's I'm still curious about."   "It's not that interesting," Sehun shrugged. "I tried drugs, got into it, started fighting, got kicked out of the team, got expelled from school, got tired of home, and ran away. That's it."   Jiyong was absolutely sure there was a reason. Despite being there longer than Min, it always seemed like her could never get through ot him. There was something he was hiding and he was continuously refusing to reveal it. "That's it?"   He shrugged again. "Pretty much."   "Just strik
