He is running
Taking every corner that he could to lose her.
But she is still on his tail.
Days of starvation taking its toll on him
But he doesn’t even stop or look back.
He has to get away.
He was running so fast that everything around him was a blur
He only hears the thumping of his heart and his footsteps over the carpeted floor
He runs through a labyrinth of corridors.
It’s like he was running away from death.
But everyone knows you can’t run away from death.
Her presence was almost imperceptible.
But he knows she is there.
Even if he already escaped from that place
He could still feel the weight of the chains on his arms and legs,
He could still see that maniacal smile from her beautiful face
He looked back once to see if she was still chasing him.
But she wasn’t there.
His heart pounds faster as he opens the door to the garden.
At last I’m free.
“Kibum-oppa, why did you run away? You promised you wouldn’t leave me.”
She was in front of him; In between him and freedom.
Her lithe form illuminated by the moonlight.
He couldn’t see her face but he could feel her stare boring into his soul.
Her bone-chilling voice made him want to scream
But nothing was coming out of his mouth
She comes forward and embraces him.
“I love you so much, oppa.” She buries her face into his chest.
“Please let me go” He begs his captor. His voice fading because of fatigue
“I’ll never let you go” She coos as she pulls him back to the mansion.
“You’re mine forever, Kim Kibum”
