A grand piano is rolled out onto the stage.

She silently walks out with a blank expression and looks out into the audience.

She hears the applause and bows.

She walks over to the piano with heavy footsteps.

Pulling out a phone, she dials a number and sets it down on the piano with an echoing thud.

Taking a seat, her hands hover above the black and white keys.

Tiffany...

Gently, her fingers gracefully play a tune.

Jessica didn't know how it happened, but somehow her bestfriend snuck into her home and ended up relaxing on her couch while she was composing a song.

Jessica shakes her head, ignoring the odd situation and focusing on the composition.

She begins to play, liking it so far.

Tiffany seems to agree as she pretends to conduct.

Jessica reaches the chorus and slows down her pace as she tries to figure out what to put down next.

Playing wrong notes after wrong notes, Jessica begins getting frustrated and slams her hands down on the keys.

She hears footsteps behind her and looks up to find Tiffany staring at the piano.

"Try this."

Tiffany presses down on a few keys with her index finger.

Tiffany takes a step back and signals Jessica to mimic her.

Jessica plays the left hand of the chorus and adds in Tiffany's suggestion.

It was the perfect chorus.

Jessica stares at her phone as she opens to sing.

Don't know how long

"Now that I helped you, you have to watch my favorite drama with me!"

Jessica opened to refuse, but Tiffany cut her off.

"I'm not taking no for an answer!"

Tiffany dragged Jessica to the couch and the TV.

A few minutes into the drama and Tiffany was sobbing like no tomorrow.

She leaned onto Jessica as she sniffed.

"Th-that's so s-sad!"

Jessica watched amused at Tiffany's crying self.

Tiffany noticed this and turned to her with a questioning look.

"What are y-you smiling at?"

Tiffany grabs a hold of Jessica's collar as she pulls her in for a kiss.

Jessica was surely surprised, but responded.

After a while, they pulled away only to notice a red liquid on both of their faces.

Jessica gave Tiffany a worried look.

Tiffany grinned as she wiped away the blood under Jessica's nose.

"Don't worry about it. Maybe it's just hot right now."

Jessica looked unconvinced, but Tiffany shoved her towards the piano.

"I'm fine, trust me. Just play that song of yours."

Jessica nodded and played the intro.

Tiffany's eyes slowly shut as she out and hit the ground with a loud thud.

Jessica immediately stopped and turned to find Tiffany unconcious on the floor.

"She has leukemia," the doctor told her, "meaning she has blood cancer."

Jessica was shocked and looked over to Tiffany being examined.

"It appears she's getting weaker day by day. We're going to have to keep her here until further notice."

Jessica nodded and the doctor along with the nurses left the room.

"Jessi."

Jessica turned to see Tiffany with an uneasy face resting on the hospital bed.

"I'm scared."

Jessica walked over to the girl and held her hand within hers.

She gave her an assuring smile.

Today was the day that Jessica was having her concert.

She decided to visit Tiffany before the event.

As she entered the room, she couldn't help but flinch when she saw Tiffany wearing an oxygen mask.

It wasn't getting any better.

She was aware of that.

Jessica pulled the blinds open and noticed Tiffany had woken up.

"Today's the day, huh?"

Tiffany still gave her a smile despite the condition she's in.

Tiffany tells her to come closer and whispers in her ear.

After pulling away, Jessica holds her hand tightly.

She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a phone, placing it into the girl's hand.

Tiffany grips the phone tighter as she listens to Jessica sing.

A tear slips out of her eye and travels down the side of her cheek.

Jessi...

Her eyes slowly close and the heart monitor goes off.

Doctors and nurses rush in and roll her out to the emergency room.

With the end of the concert, the piano is rolled off stage.

(A/N): Hey, guys :D  So like, this story is based off this Chinese M/V I watched when I was a kid called, "Tong Hua/ Fairy Tale" by Guang Liang.  I'm not Chinese, btw, but I am Thai.  The music video always had this effect on me and I play it every now and then on my piano.  So I thought, "why not make a fic out of it?" lal. I needed a different hobby besides from gaming and producing music.  I need to be focusing on academic kind of work cause my friends are dumbing me down, lol.  Anyways, take care.  Nothing better.
