The soft drops of snow

 

     The loud noises from the vehicles

 

     The low chattering of passersby

 

     The bright streetlights lighting the place

 

 

     And a boy

 

     In a dark world

 

     No emotions in his eyes

 

     Standing solemnly

 

     A hand on his chest

 

     Making his way

 

     Towards the main road

 

     Full with vehicles

 

        God

        It would be better

        To just vanish

        Then

        No more heartbreak

        No more stupid promises

        Finally

     Stumbling towards the cold boy

 

     Papers scattering around

 

        “Oh my- I’m sorry! Are you alright?”

 

     A nod.

 

     Standing on his feet again

 

     Holding a hand out to the cold boy

 

        “Here, let me help you up”

 

     Those seemingly honest  eyes

 

     That seemingly genuine smile

 

     And maybe

 

        Those were sincere

 

     Letting himself

 

     To hold the other’s hand

 

     Standing on his feet again

     Offering a hand
